What!!! I asked Zeus even though I heard what he said. I can't believe he said that to me.

Maybe I misheard him."U heard me.... rouge" he answered spitting out the word rouge as if it burned him.

His voice was void of any human emotion and his face expressionless. That's when I lost it, who the hell does he think he is? I could feel my heartbeat increase and tears in my eyes but I didn't let them out. I won't give him the satisfaction of seeing me cry.

I couldn't let him see just how much he had broken me.

All the years I spent wishing for my mate, only to get this. I guess it's true that you should be careful what you wish for. Mate or not I will not allow him to turn me into his puppet nor will I bow down to him or anyone else for that matter.

My heart broke as I thought of ways to escape my supposed mate, I cant believe the moon goddess would punish me this way. It pains me to do this but I have no choice as much as I wanted a mate, someone to give me some tender love and care, someone to be my everything, my other half, my mate...

The moment the words left my mouth I felt like someone was painfully clawing at my heart. I didn't dare look at zues afraid of what I would see in his eyes

Le-lenarya... I heard Zeus say with a shaky voice .

My wolf Nemesis won and clawed inside me wanting to console her mate... I couldn't help but look up at zues and what I saw in his eyes made me want to take back my words, I saw pain, heartbreak and heartache.....
