“Why, Erica? Just tell me,” Alpha Jayden continued to tease me.
“Alpha, I just don't want to disturb your rest time. How about we go to our respective areas later?” I tried to pluck up the courage to say what was on my mind, even though I was very embarrassed to say all those things.

“If Alpha is like this, I don't want to talk to you!” In the end, I tried another approach. I pretended to sulk, and without realizing it, what I did really worked. Alpha Jayden stopped teasing me.
"Okay, I'm not joking anymore, but we can't do that, Erica. We have to appear to have a good relationship, and also the sofa and floor at my place are very uncomfortable to sleep on. I can't let you sleep there when you know how busy I am, right? If it's just for one day, I can sleep there, but if it's every day, I might look tired in the eyes of the elders. “Aloha Jayden, I know you're worried, but I'm fine because I think the sofa in this room is very soft and comfortable for my body to rest well. Jayden looked very angry, but for some reason I felt very comfortable with his anger because before that I felt that what Richard did to me was normal, but after I thought about it, what Alpha Jayden said was the truth.
