Haula's POV:

I've been trying to reach Theo since yesterday after I got discharged but his number has been unavailable and now its switched off.

Wow, just wow.

I try it again and again and again but still switched off, I even left tons of messages, I wanted to know if he arrived safely, I just wanted to know how he was doing but now I can't know.

He said he was going to call but nothing.

Right now I have two possibilities. Its either he didn't get there safely or I was just a toy to him and now that he over there, I'm gone like poof out of him mind.

I really hope for it not to be my number 1 possibility as I prefer for me to be his toy, that he used than for something to happen to him, but at the same time I knew this is going to hurt so badly, if I find out I was nothing to him.

I just hope it’s none of my theories.

After I got discharged yesterday I kept on thinking about what is wrong with me. Will I say I'm sick or not whenthe doctor himself doesn't know what's wrong with me.

I'm really tired of everything right now, and I need someone to talk to. I would have talked to Theo but then you know.

Last night my mom and I stayed on the same bed and slept. She wouldn't leave me alone, she said she didn't want anything to happen to me and she wouldn't be there so I cuddled with her like a baby and I've never slept so sound before.

My phone rings on the table and I see its Margret calling as I rush to take it. And here I thought it was Theo.

"Hello," I pick up the call.

"I'm coming over, I know you're at home so see you soon." She ends the call.

Okay now I'm not the only sick person around here, Margret is one. She didn't even let me talk. Stalker much?

She is one hell of a friend.

"Nick," I call my brother as I head downstairs. "Yeah I'm here," Nick yells from downstairs.

"Do we have drinks in the fridge?" I ask meeting him with a spoon of butter and a slice of bread.

"Yeah I think so." He answers, "So everything okay?" Nick came with Margret yesterday after which she picked him up with moms car together with some food.

"I guess. I'm feeling really okay now." I tell him honestly. I'll always be bothered that even the doctors can't find what's wrong with me.

"They still haven't found the cause?" He asks looking at me. "Yeah,"

Mom comes in as soon as we end the conversation. I and nick have this brother sister relationship and its really cool, we get along very well except sometimes when we do fight like tom and jerry. But which siblings doesn't.

"Good morning Mom," I greet her.

"How are feeling?" Mom asks concerned as she drops the food stuffs she just bought.

"I'm fine mom, really, you don't need to worry." I tell her smiling and she smiles too. This time, a happy smile, not like the ones I've been seeing her put on since yesterday.

"That's good to hear." She caresses my face while looking at me like it’s the last time she'll see me. I immediately hug her to let her know that everything is going to be fine, I'm going to be fine.

"Margret is coming over," I pull away as I tell her.

"Good then, she can keep you company. I and Nickolas are visiting a friend, I know you don't like going out much, so it’s good she comes over." Mom explains.

That's true I'm not the type that actually have places to go, I hardly go out if not university, make up school that all.

Oh wait and with Theo.

I look at my phone on the counter to see if he's replied to my messages or call, but nothing.

"But really I would have loved to go, if Margret wasn't coming." I tell her. My mom is always angry at me that I don't go out, she says how I'm I ever going to find a boyfriend when I don't go out.

"Okay then, well when I'm going visiting again I'll tell you." Mom smiles as the doorbell rings.

"That must be her," I smile fully going to open the door. "Someone's happy to see me," Margret laughs as I open the door.

"And that someone is me, your one and only friend." I say as she comes in. "Who said you were my only friend?" She teases.

"Oh I know," I say as we both giggle.

"Good morning Margret," Mom greets Margret as she comes in.

"Oh my God I'm sorry I don't know you were around, good morning ma," Margret replies frightened.

"Oh no worries, How's your mom and everything?" Mom asks relating to her parents’ divorce.

"Everything is still the same, let’s just hope it gets better." "And it will." Mom holds her hand and squeeze it a bit.

"Thank you," Margret replies smiling.

"Okay so I have to go, see you girls later." Mom says calling nick who is dressed up nicely and exited the house.

"Okay so tell me how you are feeling now?" Margret drags me to the couch to sit as she questions me.

"Margret, I'm fine. Really look at me do I look sick?"

"No but you were yesterday. You scared the hell out of me, I thought I was going to lose you when you didn't wake up." Her voice starts to become low as she talks.

"Hey, hey, look at me I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. You can't get rid of me that easily,"I laugh while she does the same.

Emotional moment erased.

"So tell me, what has been up with you lately? We didn't catch up for days now, and I'm so sorry I've been a bad friend, you know Theo was leaving and all,"Now I'm thinking about him again. I quickly erase that thought and listen to Margret.

"You're not a bad friend. By the way I met someone new," Margret winks as she tells me.

"No way, you're kidding right?"

"Oh I'm not, and it's all thanks to you" she says and I become surprised. "Me? What do I have to do with it?" I question.

"You know Dr Austin right?" Margret asks me.

"Um... Yes, the one on duty yesterday that treated me?"

"Yes that one, you see after I left to go and pick nick I bumped into him and then we were like sorry and all, then out of nowhere we started talking and he asked for my number. Today he called me and asked me to go out with him on Friday, he says it’s his day off," Margret explains happily as her face lights up talking about him.

It's good to see her this happy.

"Oh my God Maggie I'm so happy for you. But you gotta be honest he's cute," I smile mischievously.

"I know right? Why else would I agree to go out with him, he's a cute, hot, handsome doctor," She giggles and I smiles so happily. I'm so happy for her.

"Wow Margret, it's good, really good and he seems like a keeper," I tell her.

"Yeah I hope so." She mutters. All the guys Maggie has dated have never been serious about her and none of them looks matured like the way Dr Austin is. Margret is nineteen, a year older than I am and Dr cute is I have no idea.

"He will be, so don't let anything ruin it. Don't worry he won't recognize you anymore when I'm done with you," I tell her.

"Oh no you'll do my make up, but I don't want something too much and fake, I don't want him to think I'm head over heels for him." She says. "But Haula don't you think he's older than me too much," Margret asks concerned.

"What are you saying, the older the better, like I said he seems like a keeper. Who knows where you guys might take it to, maybe marriage and you definitely don't want to marry all those guys of your age group, they're not marriage material as they always go for girls younger than them and you know it, so Dr cute is perfect, he also has a good job too." I advise her.

"About the make-up, don't worry I got you covered." I assure to which she smiles and hug me.

"Thank you so much Haula," she says hugging me. "You're most welcomed." I tell her as we depart.

"How could I forget, I'm such a bad person. How are you? I mean how are you doing with all these Theo's stuff, him going and all. Have you talked to him?" She asks becoming serious.

Margret does not know that Theo has not been picking my calls ever since he left.

"I haven't talked to him Maggie, I called him after I knew he would have arrived but he never picked and then I called again it was unavailable," I bow my head down while telling her, because of how whipped I sound.

"Haula, maybe he lost his phone or something or maybe he hasn't seen it, don't think what I know you'll be thinking." She says.

"From what you said this Theo guy really likes you and you're a pretty, interesting, hot girl that any guy should want to date so don't think like that," Maggie has never met Theo and I wanted her to but there was never time for it. I love Margret so much and she knows how to lighten the mood.

"Thank you Maggie, do you think I should call him again?" I ask her. "Yes I think you should," she nods her head.

I take my phone and dial Theo's number, waiting for it to ring. And my heart sink when it doesn't, but says something else.

'The number you dialed is no longer in service." I turn to Margret with the tears all out in my eyes.
