Oliver's POV
I was so busy at the office, I had to take my mind off things.
I checked out some data on my desktop and replied to some emails.
When I finished what I was doing, I called Dorothy's office line but no one answered except it was directed to her supporting secretary.
"Hello, sir Oliver."
"Where is Dorothy?" I asked.
"She left in a hurry, and told me she will return before lunchtime gets over."
"Okay thank you." I ended the call.
I dialled her number but she wasn't answering.
"Where are you?" I texted her.
After some moments, I checked the time and it's past lunchtime, yet she was not here. I hope nothing happened to her?
Wait a minute, I hope the unknown hasn't hurt her?
Maxwell knocked before coming into the office and he looked so scared, worried as well.
"Good day, sir Oliver."
"Yes, good day, why are you shaking talking to me?"
"Sir, it's the secretary."
"You mean Dorothy? What about her?" I became worried.
"She left to see the CEO of the Duche company that stole our work, now I received a call from Mr Rufus that she got locked up."
"What?" I yelled.
"Tell the driver to get ready, I am going to the police station now to bail her out."
"Yes, boss.”
Oh no, why will they lock up my Dorothy?
I called Rufus, he is also my friend, "Hello Oliver."
"Rufus, please a girl called Dorothy, please do not let anyone hurt her, I believe she was mistaken as someone else, and got arrested, she can't hurt a fly."
"Oh your secretary, I will but she is also hurting herself, and bleeding."
"I will be there now." I ended the call.
Hearing my love bleeding gave me heartache.
I stepped out of my office and entered the car as the driver drove to the police station.
I was directed to sit at Rufus' office as he went to get Dorothy, opening the door, my heart was filled with rage, Rufus left us alone.
"Dorothy sit, and tell me what happened?" I am going to make sure who hurt her, and also get her arrested won't go unpunished.
I took off my suit jacket and covered her because her clothes were torn revealing some part of her body.
"I am sorry Oliver, I have disgraced your company."
"Bullshit, just tell me what happened?"
"I went to see the CEO of the Duche company at his hotel room, he heard me out and requested I have sex with him, but I refused and decided to leave, he pulled me back and tore my clothes." Tears left her eyes as she continued to explain.
I could feel my blood boiling in pain as I listened.
"I struggled and he beat me up, I managed to get the bottle for self-defence and ran out but I got arrested, I found myself here."
"I am so sorry, I wasn't here for you when it happened, right now I will take you to the hospital to make sure they treat your bruises, will prepare dinner for you this evening, now smile for me," I said.
"Thank you so much."
"Can you walk or should I carry you?" I said.
She was about to reply but I just carried her instead to sit in the car.
I went back to Rufus," Don tried to rape her and cover up his flaws."
"I thought as much, most ladies have complaints about the same thing, I even heard he's into drugs as well but still we don't have concrete evidence."
"Do your best to take him down, he also stole my project, I still don't know how but he has bitten more than what he can chew."
"Oliver, it seems you care about your secretary so much, I know you might do something wrong, but remember your father and the company, the news will always write."
"I will be leaving now," I said.
Rufus knows me more just like Mason, I will make sure Don, the CEO of Duche company rot in hell for touching my love.
I entered the car and the driver drove off, she was already sleeping, the more I saw her blood, the angrier I became.
We got to the hospital and the nurses took over, I heard she was sleeping, so I decided to go home and prepare a meal for her as I promised, I need to take care of her.
A call came from Cleopatra and I said, "What do you want?"
"Come on baby, you barely call me."
"Look, I love someone else so move on with your life or date my family."
"I will pretend like I didn't hear you, bye love." She ended the call.
I got to my home and took off my clothes and entered the kitchen.
Mason called me on a video call, "Are you serious Oliver? Don stole from you and almost raped Dorothy, yet he locked her up?"
"Yes, I will take him down."
"I will do my best to join you in bringing him down, he has been succeeding in business with people’s hard work, he is a drug dealer, a rapist, just name it."
"I don't know why some humans are this heartless."
"Same here, so how is Dorothy?" He asked.
"She is sleeping at the hospital, so I came home to make her something to eat. I will be heading back soon."
"Aww, sweet love."
"Go to hell," I said before ending the call.
I finished cooking the meal and made sure there were lots of chicken drumsticks, she loves it so much.
I sat down close to her watching her sleep so soundly, immediately she opened her eyes, she had this big smile on her face.
"Boss."
"Hey cutie, I am here as your boyfriend okay?" She smiled and sat with her back on the pillow.
I made you dinner.
"Aww, tasty." She added.
The next day, I got ready to see Don himself knowing he had an important meeting with some investors after checking on Dorothy.
I saw the evil monster and he said to me, "Powerful Oliver Weiss, the CEO of Weiss, what brings you here?"
"Payback," I said.
"Meaning?" He asked.
I gave him punches on his face and he started bleeding as people around recorded the whole thing.
"This is for trying to touch my woman.
" I gave him another punch then I felt a hand holding me saying, "Oliver it's enough.”
