Dorothy’s POV

Before my boss could say anything, I stopped him saying, "Aiden thanks for visiting, you may leave now, will give you a call." I forced him out and let my boss in, then I shut the door.

That took me a whole lot of courage and boldness to do that but I know it's not fair to send Aiden out that way, but he should respect my boss cause he is my all and all, what am I even saying?

"Boss, I didn't know you would come 5 minutes to the time." I faked my laugh.

"Is he your boyfriend?" Boss asked and I laughed out my rib before saying, "Him, my boyfriend, no way boss, he is just a friend that cares, he came with flowers." I smiled. Oh my, why did I tell my boss about Aiden getting me flowers?

"Oh, I see," Boss said.

"Oh nice, how long has he been here?" Boss asked again and this time around I am feeling so uneasy with his questions.

"Boss, is that important?"

"Never mind."

"Okay boss, be right back, let me get my bag from my room."

He nodded and I went to my room and pipped him from inside to admire my boss again. He is so hot in these, no one will be able to recognise him as the CEO of Weiss, I wish I can be part of his life.

I came out from the room wearing long jeans and a t-shirt, I never knew we wore the same black shirt and blue jeans, we look like a couple.

I knew he might have the same thought in mind, what a sweet coincidence.

We left my apartment in his car as we arrived at a cinema close by, the people there didn't stop staring at us, some even gossip about us calling us cute couples.

I feel like everything, at the waiting spot, he said to me, "What kind of movies would you love to watch?" He asked in a calm tone.

"Romance, love." I covered my mouth knowing I was just too free.

"Oh seriously, no problem, I will get the ticket."

He left and in minutes he was back with two tickets and he asked again, "What would you love to take in so you can keep your mouth busy?"

"Popcorn and soft drink boss," I replied.

I noticed my boss didn't even smile at me, but why?

He came back with the popcorn and soft drink for me, he got the same for himself.

Then we entered cinema one and went up to sit, the light was still on but why is it just both of us in here? Where are the others?

Maybe they are still getting tickets to come in, I concluded.

"Why are you scanning the whole area with your eyes?" He asked.

"It's just us here boss and no one else, are we in the wrong place to view?" I asked.

Then he laughed, I could feel my heart ache at the sight of his laughter, I wish he will be laughing always, I will be joyful but what is funny here?

"Boss, did I say something funny?"

"It's just us watching, VIP treats, I don't like the crowd. The other day we watched a movie, I just decided to cope with the crowd because of you."

"But how is that possible?" I was amazed.

"I am a billionaire, there is nothing I can't do, you should be glad that you are enjoying this treat from your boss."

Here, he goes again, feeling full of himself again but I love it.

"Thanks for being a good boss to me," I said, then the light went off and the movie started.

I was so excited that it was my favourite actors and actresses that were featured in the movie.





I love this movie, there were so many parts where I laughed but it got to the part that was touching and emotional that I started crying, not minding the boss was there.

"For real, you are crying? It's just a movie, Dorothy." He said.

"I know boss, but you might not understand, love is a beautiful thing."

I said still crying and he passed me his white handkerchief to wipe it off. I feel so special.




Oliver's POV
I can't believe she will be crying because of a movie, I noticed she started blushing when I passed her my handkerchief to wipe them off.

She looks so wonderful, I must say.

Will I say I was happy when they called us cute couples earlier today?

It got to the part where the couples started kissing on the screen, I felt a little awkward, why will they be showing this now?

It feels so hot here.

I noticed how uncomfortable she became, so I said, "Wow I love this part, she is such a good kisser."

"Oh." That was the only word she said.

Finally, it was over so I brought her home and she said, "Thanks boss for today, I had fun."

"Same here."

"I guess you will be going to church tomorrow?" She asked.

"Yes, I won't miss it."

"Good night boss."

"Oh, I almost forgot, remember our trip is on Monday, my driver will pick you up at the airport so we can leave, you don't need to pack up much stuff okay?"

"Sure boss, see you on Monday and I hope when the trip is over, The Duke will be happy."

"Yeah he will but the conclusion of the project with the opening of the app will take a long time but we should give our best, good night then."

"Bye." She walked inside her apartment and when I entered the car, I couldn't stop blushing.

I entered the car going home when Mason called saying, "Oliver guess what, I knew it."

"Calm down and speak," I said over the phone, knowing the way he tried saying everything at once.

"Sharon, your worker, I saw her and when I asked her, she started running, I didn't want to make a scene. That's why I didn't run after her but my source said, someone came to see her. That was unusual, I feel someone paid her to ruin you."

"I can't believe this but what do I accept, humans will always be humans, just let it go if she won't talk."

"I will try the last time and bye for now." He ended the call.

Who could be this unknown enemy?







I sat at the airport waiting for my driver to come in with Dorothy as planned so we could proceed with the trip.

Or did she change her mind already?

While I was still talking t
o myself, a beautiful damsel was revealed, my jaw dropped.

Dorothy is really an angel and I can't wait to admit things to her during this trip.
