Immediately Valerie left the conference room, which left me seated all by myself as some cringe thoughts kicked in about taking my plans towards Valerie to the next level.

"I should switch up my acting now, enough with the perfect guy charade," I muttered to myself.

"It is starting to disgust me," I continued.

"But I won't lie, I enjoyed it, even with the sex, Valerie Is good," I admitted as my voice softly echoed.

Suddenly while still in my thoughts, My phone rang melodically.

"Who could this be," I said to myself, as I checked the screen of my phone only for me to realize it was one of my many girlfriends.

"Perfect timing," I uttered.

Then, I answered the call as I relaxed properly into my seat with the phone placed on my right ear, so I said, "Hello Christine,"

"Hey baby, how are you?" Christine spoke.

"Living, it's quite surprising you called," I uttered to her.

"It shouldn't be a surprise to you, I called at least we are dating," She reminded me.

Dating on your side, all I just want is to release stress with good sex.

"Yeah sure," I feigned my response.

"So....., when can I see you?" She asked.

"I know you have other girlfriends but I am trying to make this work for both of us," Christine continued.

"Come on, don't be like that," I said, feeling bad at her words.

"And so, you know we are not in any form of dating or relationship, so stop acting up with jealousy,"

But I'm all sincerity I was happy she called at least something to distract me.

"We could see tonight if you want," she said.

"No, not tonight, I want to rest tonight and between a lot of work is pending, I need to attend to so why don't we fix it for tomorrow, you can come over to the office, that way we can be alone," I explained to her.

"Okay, fine see you tomorrow then," Christine uttered as the call ended.

"Finally, something to distract me," I muttered to myself, as I stood up and walked out of the conference room.

Walking out, I walked past every office in my company, My thoughts drove right back to Valerie but with every effort in me, I tried profusely to fight it.

However, I arrived in my office subsequently as I worked on the new collaborations we just signed with.

I was so exhausted as I had missed having fun in my life and I wanted it so bad that I couldn't wait for Christine to come tomorrow.

So I decided to head out because no matter how hard I tried to avoid hooking up with random girls I couldn't but I needed to avoid doing it anywhere Valerie could easily access till my plans on her were finally at its end.

So I stood up and called Ruth on the telephone in my office as I said to her I was leaving.

Swiftly I dropped the telephone receiver back on the body of the telephone.

I took my car keys to my workbench as I left my office.

I drove my car away from the garage as I entered the street.

The lights on it were dim and I could really see the beautiful in the glow of the night.

"Mmm, tonight is going to be good," I said stretching my arms on my car-stirring wheels.

Finally, I arrived at Tanya's house, Oh Tanya, she makes me feel like I am on cloud nine, whenever I am with her.

So I got out of my car and locked its doors, I didn't even inform her I was coming, but I knew she would be at home and either drunk or high on drugs.
