Epilogue
Paige POV
Reaching the hotel Rodriguez was staying, I hopped out of the car. Walking up the grand steps and up to the front desk,
"Good evening," I mumbled to the receptionist, "Mr. Rodriguez is expecting me,"
Looking up from her desk, standing from her chair, she lowered her pen, "Walk with me,"
Doing so, we came up to an elevator, with guards standing on each side, they did acknowledge our presence they just kept looking forward, like a pair of statues. Standing at the back of the elevator, the receptionist began to punch in some numbers, most likely it the floor Rodriguez was staying on. The elevator started to go up, and while I was uneasy, the woman remained calm with her hands tucked behind her, maybe it's because it's my first time riding in one.
"Listen up," she spoke, glancing back at me over her shoulders, "Whatever doubts you are having, leave them right here before you step out of this elevator... Paige,"
How did she... Sliding open, the elevator interrupted my thoughts. Stepping aside, the receptionist kept her eyes on me as I walked out, our eyes kept fixed on each other as the door slide shut, she was the inside man.
Gripping tightly onto the handbag straps, I took a deep breath, walk towards the only door on the floor, it was up to head with two men standing guard, but I was no fool, I know they are more men standing around, Rodriguez defense system is an impeccable one.
"Stop," one of the men stop me in my tracks by sticking out a metal detector, "Safety first,"
"Trust me, boys Mr. Rodriguez will be in the safest and the softest hands tonight,"
Saying nothing, the man circled me, while the other watched,
"Maybe... But let's be sure,"
Scanning me with the device, starting from my head, it began to beep when reached my coat,
"Open your coat, now!" The other man, pointed his firearm at me, but I kept my cool, I know why the thing went off, my daggers played apart of it but the lingerie is my way in,
"Easy," I mumbled, starting him the eye as untie my coat, revealing my outfit underneath it that was mostly made from metal chains, "See... I am harmless as a fly," I flirted, sporting my seduction as they stared my body down
"Ok... Cover up, you can go in,"
Trying the belts on my coat back into a knot, I marched past them,
"Wait!" One of them called out, "We didn't check your bag," he snatched the purse from my hand, emptying the item in it on the floor.
My heart was pounding fast, I didn't inspect the bag myself and if there is the slightest hint of my mission here tonight, they are going to kill me.
"Check this out," they giggled with each other, before shifting their gaze to me, the man who searching the bag hoisted his finger with the handcuff around it,
"Word is that he is a naughty man," I smirked,
There wasn't much in it though, and their curiosity made me realize that lipstick isn't just lipstick, and those handcuffs weren't just handcuffed, they were tools, the kind I can use on this mission,
"Here you go," one of them hands me back my bag,
"Ready when you are boss," the guard spoke, bringing a walkie talkie to his brittle lips, that is going to be a problem, I thought,
"Send her in," I heard Rodriguez on the end of the line,
Pushing the door open, I closed it softly behind me, I watched him as he licked his lips, he was a middle-aged man with, hairy chest, searching me with his eyes, eye-fucking me, such a bastard.
"Come on sweetie, come to daddy,"
Pulling my coat, I lowered it to the ground, climbing on the bed with a smirk on my face. Climbing over him, he sat up in the middle of the bed, squeezing my ass cheeks as I ran my hand through his hair. Kissing him lightly on the lips, as I slowly slid a blade from out of my lingerie. Hearing the smashing down of glass, I felt his warm blood sprayed across my face, as he dropped dead on the bed, blood oozing from the side of his head. A sniper shooter did the damage, they must have known he would be here with a woman and took the opportunity to kill him,
"Boss everything ok?" I heard one of the guards spoke through the walkie talkie, I know they will bust these doors down when Rodriguez don’t answer back,
Climbing off the bed, I stood in the corner of the room, waiting with push daggers in my shaking hands. Calling for their again, followed by the door kicking open, flinging the daggers in their neck as stepped inside with their pointed guns, I put on my coat quickly, dipping into my bag for the handcuff. Cuffing it to the bedpost I reeled it out, jumping out the broken window, I lowered my self to the ground, pressing the button on the side that snapped open the part of the cuffs on the bedpost, back into my palm, opening the door of the car that waiting for me, I met the gaze of the driver in the rearview mirror,
"Drive! Now,"
Reaching back at the house, I found everyone, crowded around Miguel and a girl, one that I recognize,
"Miguel, someone got Rodriguez first and I... I know you," I whispered staring at the girl, she was the girl... The cashier from the store "Well," Miguel sighed, "This Is Arlington's sister... Lorraine,"
"Where is he?"
"He... He was taken by men... And they left this behind," she held a Glock in her palm,
"I don't know the purpose of it... It's empty, and I-"
"Empty?" I whispered, I know that move, it was a message meant for me,
"I know who has him," I mumbled walking away to the inventory,
"Who has him?" Miguel hurried behind me,
"Morris and that was a message meant for me, just me... Therefore I am going alone," I slammed the door in his face, changing into a leather suit, I unhook two Glocks, and few push daggers, stuffing them down into my side, taking a rifle as well, I braced it on my shoulder, marching past Miguel,
"Can you just tell me what's your plan, maybe I can help you, how do you know it's even Morris,"
"The first time a gun was placed in my hand, it was Glock... An empty one, I know this is Morris... I can't risk barging in there with a group of killing machine men... It will be a bloodbath and Arlington will be killed in the process... It's me he wants ok, let me do this... Alone,"
Brushing past him, I told the driver where I was going, because I know Morris, he had nowhere to go and there is only one place he could, the house... My house.
Arriving there, I grab the handle of the duffle bag,
"Don't wait for me," I sent the driver away,
The house flooded with men, both on the roof and down below, this is going to be harder than I thought. Taking the sniper rifle out I positioned it, taking them out one by one. Sneaking inside, I killed the few guys that were inside by throwing daggers in their necks, setting bombs along the way. Setting the empty bag down, I sneaked down the dungeon, finding Crown tied to a chair, badly beaten, rushing to his side, I began to untie him,
"Hey... I am here now, I got you-" feeling the grip of heavy hands tossing me aside, I winced In pain, it was Billy. Wiping the blood from my lips with the back of my hand, I rose to my feet,
"Long time no see, last I heard you were dead,"
"Faulty autopsy, I feel very much alive,"
"Not for long," he attacked me,
But I slid a dagger from out of my sleeves, stabbing him repeatedly in the sides then neck,
Rushing to Arlington side again, I finish untying him when I heard a distant clapping, two figures emerging from the dark, slipping a dagger into Crowns hand he looked over at me, and I got the message, do or die
Oh my God, it was Sebastian and Morris they were working together,
"You not only took my most prized trophy from me Crown, but you also turned her into a killer impressive,"
"She is no killer," Sebastian added, "Just a child with weapons,"
Grinding my teeth I stepped towards Sebastian, but Arlington stopped me,
"He's mine," he groaned
And we did fight to the end, ending with me slicing Morris's throat and Alright stabbing Sebastian repeatedly, whatever issues those two had, I could tell it was personal,
"We have to leave now, this place is going to blow up within minutes," I jogged ahead, him being close behind me, standing outside, we watched each explosive go off, lightening up the house like a firecracker.
Taking my hand, Arlington lower something in my palm, it was the picture of me and my mom,
"Where did you this?" I felt my cheeks warm up,
"I had since the first day, it was this that helped me to recognize who you were and your mother,"
"Thank you," I mumbled,
"No, thank you, for saving my life tonight,"
"You rescued me first Arlington... You did," I crashed my lips onto his.
