Darius POV
“What happened?” Nathan suddenly appeared. I look at him, he’s our childhood friend and I know she likes Vishiea. But there’s no way on earth I would let him get her.
“Lady Anastasia was kidnapped by Rachelle’s men. She’s in danger right now” Adam told her. He held his sword and prepared to leave but I stopped him.
“Vishea is mine, Nathan” I told him. He stopped and turned around looking at me.
He started walking towards me.
I warned him many times to stay away from Vishiea but he doesn’t want to stop getting closer to him. Even when we were just a kid I know he had feelings for Vishiea. But he knows that Vishiea is my mate. He became distant to her out of respect but it seemed like he wanted to get this opportunity to steal her away from me.
“She doesn’t love you anymore, Darius,” he uttered my name. Adam immediately interrupted.
“You should respect him, he’s the king,” Adam said but I just set him aside and walked closer to Nathan. I don’t care if he doesn’t see me as his king.
He's too determined to steal Vishiea from me. Who do he really think he is? Vishiea is my mate.
“I know what you’re doing, I am well informed.” I told him he smirked and also stared into my eyes. He looks firm but it won’t stop me anyways.
Even if I am not the king or the prince I would still fight for Vishiea. He’s too proud of himself.
“We both know that she’s no longer interested in you Darius. Why don’t you just admit the fact that she already fell out of love. “ He told me. My jaw clenched because of what he said. He’s really underestimating me.
“You’re wrong. Don’t try me Nathan.” I threatened him but he’s not easy to intimidate.
“Are you going to punish me now because you are the king? You’re brave because you have the crown?” His voice was full of mockery.
I chuckled sarcastically. He really wants to try me.
“I don’t give a fuck with the crown.” I punched him in the face, which made him fall on the floor.
Everyone was shocked because of what I did. He wiped the blood on his face.
“You really want this?!” He said and attacked me. We both fight. We punch each other’s face.
Vishea would never choose you, I will assure that.
She’s my mate and no one can get her from me.
“She will choose me over someone like you!” He said and painted his sword on me. I grabbed my sword and did the same thing.
“She is my mate and no matter what you do you will never change the fact that we are destined for each other!” I shouted at him and was ready to attack when Adam ran in the middle.
“Your majesty! Knight Nathan! Please. Lady Anastasia needs to be saved. You should stop this if you still want to see her alive!” Adam stopped us. We both stopped. Fighting.
“You can’t stop me from saving her,” Nathan said and left.
Fuck him! Did he really think he could save her alone?
“We have to move now.” I told them. I gathered all my soldiers.
Adam already finds where they are. I didn’t expect that Rachelle had gathered that much armies.
She’s been planning this all this time since she was exiled and she really wants to target Vishea. She will pay for doing this to her.
We arrived at the place and Rachelle’s army noticed our presence.
“Protect the king!” Adam shouted. But there’s no time for that. I am here for Vishea and I have to save her.
The fight between my soldier and army started. We can’t even get inside to check her now.
Her army was determined to sacrifice themselves just to prevent us from entering.
“There’s too many of them” I told Adam while we were currently fighting with Rachelle’s army.
That bitch! I will make sure she will pay for this.
Then arrows started to fly in the enemy’s direction. I looked at the back and I saw Nathan with the other soldier with their bow and arrow.
“Make sure everyone of them dies!” Nathan shouted. The enemy started to look for something to save themselves.
That’s a great help but it doesn’t mean I will let you get what is mine.
I sneak on the other side and Adam accompanies me while the other soldiers are fighting Rachelle’s army.
I really regret being with that woman. It’s all my father’s fault. It’s my father’s plan for me to marry Rachelle instead of Vishiea. That’s because Rachelle’s father became my father’s loyal friend.
It's too late when I found out that Rachelle’s father was the one who was behind the accusations of Vishiea’s father. Rachelle’s mother was the one who poisoned Vishea’s mother.
After learning the truth I immediately ordered Rachelle’s father to punish them with death.
Rachelle was furious but couldn’t do anything and even my father tried to stop me but he could no longer control me. I am now the king.
They are the reason why Vishiea’s family was ruined. Because if they are greedy to get their daughter to have the crown of being a queen of the palace.
Now, she’s having her revenge. But. Can’t let her hurt Vishiea.
It’s all their fault why they are in this situation right now.
They started it and I will finish it.
“Your majesty watch out!” I heard Adam shout and I immediately dodged the attack. I could have been dead right now if I didn’t dodge that. His nails were sharp.
My eye color changed. I stared who did that and it’s Hanzel McNeil.
“You can’t enter,” he uttered. I smirk. After all those years. He’s here to help Rachelle.
I am no longer surprised that Rachelle and him always talk secretly.
“You betrayed the palace, you betrayed your king. You should be punished for death!” I shouted and attacked him.
He immediately became alerted. Then I looked at Adam and he already knew what I meant.
He immediately runs inside while my former personal royal guard is here to fight me.
“I am well aware of your secret Hanzel. You're Rachelle’s mate.” I told him. Surprised was written on his face but soon faded.
“I gave you the chance to change but you choose this destiny,” I told him and we started fighting.
