Chapter 88: Loving Her From Afar
Darius' POV
It's been days since I last saw her. I love her and I will never stop loving her. I know what I did before was unforgivable but I only did that to save her life. I know I was dumb for not standing up for her but her life is what matters.
I love Vishea more than myself. She became distant to me. Even when she's here she acts like she doesn't know me.
It hurts, fuck. I don't know what to feel. I love her and I want us to be together again. If I could only force her to stay with me then I did. Vishea is my life and without her I am nothing.
I’ve sacrificed everything for her even though I know it would hurt her so mad and that he couldn't forgive me. He left that night when Rachelle revealed the truth.
Dad and I fought when I tried to chase her. He stopped me and threatened me again but he couldn't stop me.
I used my position to threaten him to stop meddling between me and Vishea. He was so mad that we had a fight that night. Everyone was shocked by what happened but I won't let him ruin us again.
We both taste our own blood, I hurt him badly and I don't care anymore. He's the reason why Vishea hated me too much.
We only stopped when my mother interfered and she got wounded. Dad was so mad that they left that night and the party didn't continue.
Rachelle on the other hand tried to explain to me but I had enough with her manipulation. She's like dad and I hated them. We had a big fight that night. I punished her so badly that she used her dark magic on me to get back.
Everything became chaotic. I exiled her in the palace and made sure that she couldn't go back.
I tried to ask for forgiveness from Vishea but she's too cold. I lost myself and tried to let myself die.
Until she arrived she started taking care of me but I could feel her coldness. She's no longer the Vishea I’ve known before.
She had changed and that's because of me. After that she left without even telling me. I wanted to follow him but I couldn't. I respect her decision.
Even when years have passed she's always the only woman in my life.
I had a lot of dreams I wanted to do with her. I really wanted to have a family with her but everything turned.
I feel sorry for her family. I can't even do anything to protect them. I was the prince before but I don't have the power to fight my father.
He's the king and I know how capable he is. He had the power to make everyone suffer.
“Are you still thinking about Vishiea?” Jaxon asked me. I looked at him and didn't say a word. I always think of her. There's no seconds, minutes, days, months or years I didn't think of her.
“What really brings you here?” instead of answering him I asked him. She let out a deep sigh.
“I am just afraid that you’ll be just like before. You wouldn't eat and always here in your room” he said. I know they get worried in my situation before. That's my choice. But when Vishea came, I couldn't help but choose to live.
Even though she's far away, I will always be here watching her. My Lucky woman.
I just missed her so much, everything about her I missed her. I faked the rejection that day. I will never reject my own mate or accept her rejection.
She will always be my mate and I will always love her. She won't stop me from loving her.
“You don't have to worry. I recovered.” I told him. He just nodded his head.
“You really love her,” he murmured but enough to hear it.
I do really love her. She's the only woman who can make me insane like this. The only woman who I want to be manipulated.
If I could only bring back the moments she's still so in love with me then I would. I would make her feel how much I love her.
I know she suffered too much that day. And I hated myself for not being there by her side. Yet I am so proud of her. She became more independent and she could protect herself.
“I do and you should go now” I glared at him. He immediately stood up and left smirking. I let out a deep sigh and fixed myself. But then I heard footsteps outside.
The door opened and he didn't even dare to knock. I was about to talk when he spoke.
“You're Majesty! Lady Vishea’s aunt is here. They were anxious and immediately asked for you” Adam entered my room. My forehead knotted. His words are still processing in my mind.
I immediately stood up and went to them. They immediately walked towards me. Her aunt is now crying.
“You're majesty, please help Anastasia. She was kidnapped by your ex fiancée. Our man was found dead in the forest and she is nowhere to be found” Her aunt cried and her husband hugged him.
My eyes widened because of what I found out.
“What?! Adam! Call all my army and search for Vishea. Make Sure that everyone behind this will die!” I immediately ordered him.
He acted and left to inform the army.
“Don't worry, I will find her no matter what happens. It's better if you stay here in the palace for your own safety” I told them. I didn't wait for their response and left.
Rachelle you would really do anything to ruin us. I don't have to waste time because I know how evil she is.
Fuck! They can't hurt her. I will kill you Rochelle!
“Your majesty, we have to make a plan. The soldiers were already prepared” Adam informed me.
“Your majesty please save Anastasia, I– I can't lose her. She's so precious. Our men are dead and please bring her back” Her Aunt uttered. I nod my head at her.
I will bring her back alive. Even if I sacrificed myself, I will do it.
