Seeing Her As a Threat
Seeing Her As a Threat
Chapter 47: Seeing Her As a Threat
Sarah Alexandro's POV.
The house became unfamiliar when I walked in. All the walls were different, and the rooms have been changed. I felt like a stranger in the renovated mansion, which used to be my space.
Seeing another lady inside almost made me lose my mind. 'That can't be! This can't be happening!’ I thought angrily, scared of losing him to a random call girl.
Exactly! I was his childhood friend because of the relationship our fathers had, but I loved him since then, and I only went back to the city because I was going to confess my feelings, hoping we would get married.
Logan didn't know about my feelings, and that was why I was going to let him love me.
But I haven't started my plan, and I already have an obstacle immediately after I got back. And I will make her pay!’ I pondered, promising to make her life a living hell.
I couldn't afford to lose Logan to anyone. I vowed to do anything to make him mine. “This is your room, ma'am,” the maid said, bowing.
“Okay, you may leave.” I dismissed her as I opened my suitcase. I stood in front of the mirror as I looked at my reflection. I smirked evilly, thinking of ways to chase her out and make Logan mine.
I changed my clothes because the ones I wore earlier tore. I changed it into a short gown. Revealing my cleavage and thighs.
I stepped out of the room and walked seductively. “Logan? Where are you?” I said I was walking towards his room but stopped when I got to your room because I could hear him from the door.
“Knock knock.” I knocked for a while, and then I saw a response after. “What is it?” Logan himself came out, getting dressed properly. My blood boiled; the thought that they might have been screwing each other made me angrier.
“Nothing, I just want to chat with you more.” I said seductively, leaning towards him as my breasts almost popped out of the gown. “Hmmm… wait for me in the living room.” He smiled faintly, entering the room back. And this time he didn't lock the room.
I stood in the exact position as he left. I was rooted on the spot until he had my time. He thought I was quiet—sweet, even. That was the funny part. They have no idea what simmers beneath that smile. I watch them laugh, pretend to care, and toss their meaningless compliments at each other like confetti. It makes my skin crawl.
He touched her—crazily. Always her. The one with the red hair and effortless charm. I saw the way he looked at her. Like she was the sun, like everything she touches matters more than the rest of us combined. But I saw through it. I saw her. Weak. Unworthy. Lucky, not brilliant. And I? I was the storm she never saw coming.
Jealousy? They call it that, but jealousy was a tame word. That was wildfire in my chest, a sharp hunger in my gut. I wanted what she had—not to share it, not to match it, but to take it. Rip it from her fingers and watch her crumble beneath the weight of reality. I could destroy her with a smile. And maybe I will.
‘They’ll say I’m cruel. That I’m cold. But the truth? I’m simply honest about what I feel.’ I mulled it over in my head. She was standing in the light that should’ve been mine. And I would never stand in shadows. Let them call it evil—if power is evil, then so be it.
Seeing how Logan looked at her made me see her as a threat. I’d rather be feared than forgotten. ‘Logan is mine! I must make him mine because I lose completely.’ I thought, as I watched him come out of the room after some minutes.
“You are still here? Sorry I kept you waiting.” He said with a smile. His eyes were not filled with a hint of remorse. He didn't have my interest in mind. I must make him mine immediately. I thought.
“Let's just talk in your room. It's faster. We are closer to it.” I pulled him into the room before he could even talk. “So, what do you want to talk about?” He asked, checking his wristwatch.
“How is Eduardo? I've not set my eyes on him since I got back in town.” I said, sitting close to him, but he didn't even give me attention. “Eduardo is kind of busy these days. But I'm sure he is planning to surprise you too,” he said with a faint smile.
“What about you? How have you been living?” I asked, holding his hands and letting his gaze meet mine. “The usual, nothing more extravagant than the Don's lifestyle.” He sighed and nodded with a smirk.
“You didn't miss me?” I asked playfully, placing his hands on my chest. Making him graze my breast. My body tensed even though it wasn't an intentional touch.
“Sarah, are you okay?” he asked as he knitted his brows at me confusedly. But I was too busy fantasizing about his long and slender fingers in my pussy to answer that question.
“Sarah!” He shook my body all of a sudden, jolting me out of my thoughts. “Huh?!”
