Gemma's first mission

I paced around the room worriedly. I was losing my mind.

Antonio just informed me that I would be supervising the exchange of hard drugs and to make sure everything goes well as my first mission.

He came into the room and laughed when he saw my worried state.

"Are you that nervous?"

"I've never done something like this before" I retorted nervously.

"This is the easiest of the things you'll be doing for the crime family. You shouldn't fail in this or else you won't be trusted with other operations and the crime family might want you dead" Antonio told me.

"But…."

"Luca is going to be with you. He's been teaching you for weeks now" he said.

I immediately relaxed when I remembered Luca will be with me and Antonio noticed it.

"See, you're calm now" he said.

"So what time is it??"I asked.

"The time and venue would be communicated to you later" he replied.

Just then, we heard a knock on the door.

"Come in," Antonio called from within.

The door opened and Luca in his magnificent glory entered the room. He's looking so handsome and gorgeous that I almost choked on my breath.

I have to admit it! I have great feelings for Luca.

I don't know if it's crush or love, but I know I have feelings for him.

I was confused as to what Luca really feels for me. He keeps giving me mixed feelings. This minute, he's all sweet to me that I thought he must feel something for me, then the next minute, he goes all harsh and cold on me.

I didn't know I was smiling stupidly till I heard Antonio's voice.

"You're that excited to see him?" He smiled. But behind the smile, I could see the scowl on his face and hear the bitter sweet tone he used.

I was quickly embarrassed and coughed out, then morphed my face into that of a frown.

I could see Luca smirking and I raised my eyebrows at him.

"Good morning, madam Pink" he quickly greeted and bowed.

I didn't reply, as I feigned a frown and looked away.

"Good morning, Boss. You called for me" he said to Antonio.

"Yes, it's about tonight's operation. You'll go with Pink butterfly and assist her to have a successful operation. There must be no mistakes" Antonio instructed.

"Okay, boss," Luca replied.

"You'll spend the rest of the day teaching her everything she needs to know about today's operation before the time of the operation" Antonio instructed.

"Okay boss"

"I'll let you know when I'm ready" I chipped in.

"Alright ma'am," Luca replied.

The "Ma'am" sounded odd on his lips. I was used to him calling me Gemma. I love the way my name rolls off his tongue whenever he says it.

Now, he's being all formal because of Antonio.

"You can leave now," Antonio said.

Luca bowed to us and left the room. I caught Antonio staring at me hard.

"What??" I asked.

"Nothing" he said and walked into the bathroom.

Antonio has been less harsh and strict on me since I became his wife. We still have our rough sex whenever he wants but he's being more gentle to me. He's treating me more like a wife than his sex slave. But till now, I don't know the reason why he made me his wife.



The time for the operation finally came. The venue was given to us and Luca and I prepared to leave.
We entered one of Antonio's cars and Luca drove out of the compound. It was a van.

"I trust you" Antonio had said to us before we left the house.

The drive was very silent as no one was talking. I was really nervous with so many thoughts running through my mind.

What if I flop on this Operation?

What if I get shot and die in the process?

What if I get caught by the cops and sent to jail? I don't want to spend the rest of my life rotting in jail.

Luca had assured me that Antonio has so many connections with the cops so it wouldn't be easy for any of us to be arrested but I was still scared.

I know how risky, deadly and tough operations like this could be.

I didn't know I was playing nervously with my fingers till Luca placed his palm on my hands. I looked up at him with worried eyes.

"I'm scared, Luca," I admitted.

"I noticed. You don't need to be scared. I'm here with you" he assured me.

This is one of the few times when he's being sweet to me.

"What if things go wrong? What if we get arrested or shot to death?" I asked.

"Nothing like that would ever happen. You know what, I'll be the one to seal every business with those boys. You just need to stand in the background and observe things. Just your presence is enough, you don't have to carry out the transaction yourself" he said.

"Really??" I asked with hope shining in my eyes.

"Yes, Gemma," he replied.

"Thank you so much. I don't know what I would have done without you" I said.

"It's nothing. I'm your teacher. A teacher always looks out for the well being of his student" he teased and I laughed.

"You're sure looking after the well being of your student" I added.

There was silence again in the van.

"We're here" Luca broke the silence. He parked the van and I did a quick scan of the environment. A big truck was parked meters away from us and some men were walking around it, watching with eager eyes.

It was obvious that they're waiting for someone and it's us!

"Wear your mask and shades. We'll go down and meet them" Luca instructed.

I did as I was told. I picked my nose mask and shades and wore them.

Luca came down first, then walked to the other side of the van to open the door for me. I came down from the car in my expensive pink jumpsuit, black hat, black heels and bag.

Luca wore his shades. He's dressed in all black.

"Shall we? Ready?" He asked and I nodded.

He led the way to those men and I followed closely behind. We finally got close to them, it was then that I noticed they're holding guns and my heartbeat skipped a million times and I didn't know when I placed my hand in Luca's hands.
