101. A Dream Come True

101. A Dream Come True
She stood up and her arms tightly wrapped around my neck, we hugged while we cried and let out all the pain of these past months without being with her.

I caressed her thin and fragile body and wanted to scream in frustration, her crying was heart-wrenching, and my heart shattered into a thousand pieces seeing her so bad.

I buried my nose in her soft hair, and her warm scent invaded my senses. Jasmine, home, Margaret. My Margaret.

I kissed her head, her cheeks, and her hands frantically, desperate to feel her.

"I love you, I love you. You don't know how much I missed you, I was dying without you," I looked into her eyes, flooded like mine, and we hugged, unable to stop crying.

How much harm had been done to us.

She looked at me and inspected my face, touching my cheeks and arms, probably still believing she was dreaming.

She hugged me tightly and cried.

"Shhh, it's okay, baby, I'm here with you. I'll never leave you alone again," I stroked her hair and back. "I love you, you're my life, Margaret," I kissed her and hugged her, desperate to feel her close. "Don't cry, sweetheart, I'm here with you, and we'll never be separated."

It was a promise, they would have to kill me to separate me from her again. I cradled her in my lap and rocked her, while stroking her hair and whispering how much I loved her.

I felt her slow breathing and saw that she had fallen asleep again. She had lived a hell just to be away from her.

I looked at her carefully, she was thinner, and her belly was much more prominent. A crack opened in my chest, she had dark circles from sleeping little and was very pale.

She had suffered as much as I had.

That damn Mike would pay for everything he hadn't done. If it weren't for Taylor, she would still be there locked up at the mercy of that sick son of a bitch, but I was going to end him no matter what.

My wife stirred in my arms and murmured my name.

"I'm here, my love, I'll never leave again," I whispered and kissed her head.

I watched her for what seemed like hours, deeply asleep.

I took a shower and entered our dressing room, a feeling of relief washed over me, my wife was finally home.

I heard screams and ran to where they were coming from, not running fast enough to reach. I entered our room and what I saw tore my soul apart:

She was sitting on the bed, breathing heavily with her eyes closed, caressing her belly while crying inconsolably.

I approached her side, and she opened those beautiful tear-filled eyes wide, looking at me as if she saw a ghost, unable to believe I was here at home, it broke my heart into a thousand pieces.

I sat on the bed and hugged her, she wrapped her arms around my neck and cried.

"Shhh, calm down, I'm here," I hugged her tightly. She was so delicate, so fragile, I couldn't imagine what had happened.

"Don't ever leave again," hearing her words choked with tears was going to kill me. "I lived a hell, never leave me alone again, never do something like that again," she shouted, but didn't let go, holding onto me as tight as she could.

I shook my head, tears flowing uncontrollably.

"Never, I swear, I'll never leave you alone, I love you more than my own life," we both cried in silence.

"I was dying without you, Nikolay," she said in my neck, and I hugged her, feeling her body.

God.

"You don't know the nights I dreamed of having you like this, in my arms," I said and kissed her hair so soft with that unmistakable scent of jasmine, my favorite smell in the world.

"He wanted me by his side," she said with a distressed voice. "He told me I needed to come to my senses and stay away from you," I looked at her in disbelief.

Had he dared to...? I couldn't even think about it, she seemed to guess my thoughts because she hurried to clarify:

"He didn't do anything to me, just kept me there and tried to..." she looked into my eyes with fear, and I clenched my jaw in anger. I was going to kill that bastard.

"What?" I asked, my eyes narrowed, looking at her carefully.

"He tried to seduce me," she blurted out.

I widened my eyes, many images were forming in my mind and they weren't pleasant.

"No," she said firmly. "It disgusted me to be touched by him, he's my brother, for God's sake, he held me against my will tied to a bed. How could you even think I could feel desire for that damn?" her voice broke.

Definitely, I was going to kill him.

I took a deep breath and pulled her close, kissing her lips. They were like a drug to me from the first day I saw her, I had to do the impossible to have them for myself.

And they were, all of her was mine.

I caressed her face so softly, her hair, her neck, down to her breasts. God, she was perfect, and I had missed her like crazy.

I kissed down her belly, our baby was here, our baby. Our gazes met, and I saw her eyes shining. I caressed her swollen belly, and she gave me a radiant smile, placing her hand on top of mine and sighing.

"Our baby missed you too," she said with a wistful smile. "Now, he's happy to be back with Daddy."

"I missed our baby too," I said with a broken voice. "I love you," I whispered against her skin, and she smiled widely. "My life, I missed you so much, I missed both of you so much," I hugged her and kissed her.

"I've lived a hell without you too, not knowing if you would come for me or not, thinking I had lost you forever," she sobbed, and I hugged her tightly.

"Relax, babe, you're here, and I'll never leave," I caressed her belly and kissed it. "I'll take care of you and our baby."

She grabbed my face in her hands and kissed me. I desired her as much as before, she ran her hands through my hair and pulled me towards her.

We kissed with love and desire in equal parts. I lifted her and placed her on top of me, holding her tightly. I'll never let her go.

We hugged tightly, and slowly I relaxed, feeling at home; comforted and loved by this incredible woman, who turned my world upside down from the first day I saw her.

I will love her forever.
