Chapter 48 48

Chapter 48 48
Aspen

DAY TWENTY FOUR

I felt better after evening came and I did not feel sore like earlier, thanks to the ointment that Killian applied. I ate breakfast after that and then went straight to bed, because I couldn't believe that I did that. Killian and I had sex. And it wasn't just any normal sex, it was intense and mind-blowing.

I loved every second of it. Damn, that man knew how to fuck. I could still feel my body shaking from his hard thrusts and I ended up wanting it again each time I thought of it. Doing it once was simply not enough and that was seriously fucked.

Killian had gotten a call, so he had to leave. He told me before leaving that he might return late and I just waved him off, giving him that cold shoulder. He left about an hour ago and I had been lying on my bed for that hour.

It felt like I would get bored to death, so I dragged myself out of bed. Changed my shorts into comfy free pants and then stepped out of the penthouse.

I went straight to the first floor. “Hi, Miss Aspen.” Claire waved once she saw me.

“Hey.” I waved back at her with a smile on my face. “How are you doing??”

“I'm good. And I trust that you are well. Do you need anything?” I shook my head.

“No. I just came for a small walk. I'll be going back upstairs soon.” It was already 7 in the evening and the occupants in the other apartments were already returning.

There were about 20 apartments and the building had a lot of floors. Only Killian used the elevator that went to his penthouse and almost everyone in the building was a celebrity one way or the other. They were influential. It was either one was an owner of a cafe or one was a director in Chanel or for the big fashion brands.

“Okay. Let me know if you need anything.” I gave her a warm smile and then I began to take slow steps around the lobby. My eyes fell on the longue and I smiled. I got wild that night. I got drunk and then danced crazily on top of a table.

“Aspen.” I turned swiftly on hearing my name and I smiled on seeing Alexandre. The man from that night. I'd not seen him since then. The other person I managed to meet was Noelle, but we did not get to exchange words as Killian just dragged me past her.  I never got to say hi.

“How are you? You are looking just as flawless today.” He fawned, taking hold of my hand and planting a light kiss on my knuckles. I gave him a very weird smile due to the fact that his lips lingered for too long and I had to drag my hand back.

“I'm fine and, Merci.” I still kept it cool as I decided to brush that incident aside.

“So what are you doing around here? Shouldn't you be up in your penthouse cozying up with your husband, huh? Maybe engage in hot sex….”

“Kill is not home.” I interrupted him. Some people seemed to talk so freely about sex. What did coming downstairs have to do with having sex?

“Oh, I see.” He smiled, more widely than the first time, like he was so delighted to know that Kill was not home.

“Then I'll be glad to keep you company. Where do you want to go? I can walk you there.” He offered. I'd love to take a walk, but I did not want to wander far. I only wanted to come around the lobby for a while and then go back to the penthouse.

“I only came for a little sightseeing.”

“You cannot come for just a little sightseeing here in Paris.” He suddenly held my wrist. “Paris is a very big city and there are lots of things to see and explore. Trust me, darling, one year would not be enough.” He began to drag me out of the lobby, towards the front door.

I really did not want to go, so I attempted to stop him. “Stop. I don't want to take a walk. I'm really tired and…”

“Come on darling. This is Paris. You cannot be tired.” he did not listen and kept dragging me out. If there was one thing that I hated the most, it was when people did not listen to me. I was asking him to stop and I even struggled with his hold but he still did not listen.

I hated that. The automatic doors opened once we got near and we stepped out of the building. “Alexandre, listen to me—”

“Aspen.” I paused when someone called my name and there was no way that I would not recognize that voice. It was Killian. It was just as cold, chilly, and calculating. I paused and then turned towards a direction, I saw him standing by his car which he had just stepped out of.

“Kill.” I smiled and then I ran to go meet Killian. I snapped my hand away from Alexandre's hold and ran to meet Killian. There was a very visible frown on his face and a displeased look.

“You are back.” I stood beside Killian who kept looking at Alexandre. And I already knew what was going on in Kill’s head. He was probably thinking of 100 ways to kill Alexandre.

“Let's go inside.” He held my wrist and I knew that he had reluctantly removed his eyes from Alexandre. There must have been a dying need to kill him.

“Yes.” I nodded without hesitation, clinging to Killian's side.

“Good day,” Alexandre greeted Killian as he walked closer to us, extending his hand for a handshake. But Killian gave him a very hard look, and then completely snubbed him. He did not reply to the greeting, nor did he accept the handshake. Instead, he walked past Alexandre, taking me with him.
