Chapter 74: In love with a bodyguard

The billionaire’s driver exited the yard and stood near the security agency’s armored cars. Gwen waited there and watched as Joel and eight security personnel emerged from the two armored vehicles.

“The disagreement had been resolved. I have been devalued, but I shall rise again. Are you returning to the office if you also want to settle your issue with this woman?” Mark inquired.

Joel responded, “We have to, there is no other way.” When he looked up, he saw Gwen with Ham and a swarm of security guards surrounding her. Twenty-six of them wore the same security uniform. He was perplexed as to why there were so many security personnel.

“I have completed my task and gave this woman half of all that I owned with her I am now going home.” Mark remarked this before closing his automobile window. He drove away, leaving Joel and his eight security officers at the gate. Gwen let them in by opening the gate. As they entered, Joel hurried to attack Gwen, but Ham stopped him and said, “Not like before, big boy. I am now in command. Behave or you shall be removed from the face of the city.”

“I have raised you son, and now you think you can stand me.” Joel responded while he was seeking for Joel face to face.

“Enough boys. You appear to be the gods of the city. By the way, we don’t need to come to my office; we can handle this situation informally outdoors here.” Joel overheard Gwen talk, and Ham provided a means for Joel to meet Gwen.

“You stole my security guards and now you think you’ve done the right thing in this city. I have eyes all over the city; how about you?” Joel yelled at Gwen as they confronted one another.

“As a billionaire, I have my sights set on my money. I plan to leave this city and create my own, where I will be able to place surveillance cameras across the city to watch it. Do you have the same kind of power that I do?”

Gwen made fun of Joel, but he replied, “You should thank my son in law for that. Don’t you think I need you in bed tonight?” When Ham heard Joel speak, he became outraged, while Gwen felt humiliated.

“Old man, count your words. She’s not your type anymore. Take caution what you say.” Joel stared at Ham as if he was astonished by what he had heard.

Gwen, on the other hand, stated, “I am terminating my contract with you. Please come here and sign this contract termination form.” She then generated the document from her phone and handed it to Joel for signing. Joel smiled as he took the phone from Gwen.

“Are you really calling it quits on our relationship? I mean, you don’t even want to be my partner.” Joel inquired, clutching Gwen’s iPhone. Ham stood opposite Joel, next to Gwen.

“It’s difficult to keep you connected to me because of your daughter’s affair with Mark. As I already stated, I require tranquility in my life. I need to leave this city in order to construct my own.” Gwen said as tears streamed down her cheeks.

“You didn’t want to do this at all. I’m sorry that such a disaster happened to you. Please consider collaborating with us to keep you safe while you create your city. You are not required to terminate the deal, which is worth $25 million. When you reimburse us, this will leave an empty space in your account.” Joel attempted to calm Gwen’s rage against his security firm, but Gwen had already decided to part ways with the Melon security firm.

“I have my own security guards and private investigators who will look after me. Tell your daughter that I adore her and would love to attend her wedding she will hold with my ex-husband.” Gwen answered as she persuaded Joel to sign the contract form, allowing her to quit her relationship with the security agency of Melon city. He signed it electronically before returning the phone to Gwen. She then sent the $25 million she was required to pay the security service for contract termination. Within minutes, as silence reigned, the money was reflected in the security agency’s company account. Joel examined his phone, which displayed the message indicating the amount of money in the account.

Let us leave for the time being, but we will be grateful to have your support now that you have vetted this topic.” Joel kissed Gwen in front of her security guards and then walked away with roughly eight of his security guards. Gwen remained standing, staring at Joel, as though she regretted her decision.

“She cried out loudly and even stumbled, but Ham grabbed her before she fell to the ground.” He carried her to her house while holding her in his arms. Joel heard her cry but did not return his gaze. He and his camouflage-clad security guys entered the armored cars and returned to work, as Ham consoled Gwen in her bedroom.

“You made the correct decision. What important is your own serenity, not pleasing everyone else. We serve as both your security guards and your family. You are welcome to accompany us wherever we travel. We are willing to fight any battle for your sake. Be at ease, my queen. You will be a billionaire within the next twenty-four hours.” Gwen giggled when she heard Ham’s words of consolation to her.

“I’m thinking about donating some money to charity. I’d like to visit the farms as well. I’ll buy one and live in it. The city life is hectic, and there is no time to relax.” Gwen said while wiping the tears from her eyes.

“We stand ready to assist you in all your endeavors. Giving back to the community is a humanitarian act. You will be blessed by God. Go ahead, and when you go to the farm to sojourn, we will be there to support you.” As soon as he finished, he kissed Gwen on the lips and pretended it was her fault. He covered his mouth with his hands as Gwen looked at him, wondering what her bodyguard was thinking.

“I made a mistake. Please accept my apologies, Ms. That will not happen again, I guarantee.” He apologized because he expected Gwen to be enraged.

She simply caressed his back and whispered, “You have comforted me. All I need is a companion and some security. Divorce can be a difficult experience at times. You wind yourself getting entangled in things you had no intention of doing.”

Ham said as he smiled at her, “Thank you. I don’t have a family, but I’m passionate about my profession as a security guard.” Ham continued his discussion, but he recognized that his conversation had seduced Gwen. Gwen grinned as she caressed her hands. like a result, he returned her smile, as if they were in love. While Ham spoke, Gwen’s thoughts reflected sex.

“I just wished I had a woman for whom I could live. However, I am only a security guard. I just wanted to experience the warmth of a woman’s touch, but I’m just a soldier used to the cold of the wilderness. I just wish I had a son to inherit my fortune, but I am a hermit and a single man.” His words impacted Gwen, and he saw no other way to find love but for her bodyguard to open her heart. She’d given him her hotel room to sleep in first. This demonstrated her feelings for him. She began kissing Ham, and the kissing lasted a few minutes. While Ham attempted to touch her private parts, Gwen retracted his hands until he recognized she wasn’t ready for intercourse at that time. Gwen stood up once they finished kissing.

“This divorce is driving me insane,” she murmured to Ham, who had sat down. I just kissed you as if you were my bodyguard, as if I were a harlot.”

“You are a living being. Such things can happen to anyone. You are not insane or mad. You have feelings. This indicates that even if you are going through a divorce, you still have a lot of possibilities to fall in love with and marry someone who would appreciate you. You can find love even when you believe it’s all over. Gwen, I adore you. If that’s what it takes, I’ll take you as my wife. You are not alone because your ex-husband has moved on.” His comments weakened Gwen, and he stood up and started kissing her again, but a phone call from Dyna, her lawyer, cut them off.

He remarked as he stopped kissing her, “The business call. It is significant to you.”

Gwen, on the other hand, dismissed it, saying, “Happiness is what matters most at this time.” She jumped on Ham, but he went backwards onto the bed, and Gwen lay on top of him. As she started to undress herself, Ham realized it was time to take the woman’s sentiments to paradise. The atmosphere was lovely until the doorbell rang. Gwen was irritated because they had been stopped while enjoying themselves. They stopped making love, and Ham came out to check on them, but left Gwen dressed up again.

When Ham noticed his security, he said, “What is the matter?”

“A woman is standing at the gate. As she claims, she is Ms. Gwen’s lawyer. It is critical. Ms. Gwen is required.” Gwen heard the security guy says her name at and came out before Ham could respond. While Ham followed her, she went to meet Dyna at the gate. She unlocked the gate so she could drive in. When Dyna arrived next to Gwen, she got inside the car. Ham and the security guards observed their boss conversing with her lawyer.

“I just wanted to check in on you. I suggested friendship. Now I’d like to know how you’re doing because you’ve been through a lot.” Dyna spoke out, and Gwen nodded.

“Nothing bad happened, even though I planned to make my divorce a shambles, but things are now smooth, and Mark had moved on. The only thing left to do is sign the divorce documents. In that case, I’ll need your help. I don’t want this to go to court.” Gwen smiled back, as if she was content with her client’s talk.

“You appear to be content and free. I am overjoyed, and I can assure you that you did this on purpose, not by accident. I am truly happy.” Dyna remarked.

Gwen chuckled, “I am overjoyed. I’d like to get away from the city and spend some time on the farms just to clear my head. I also want to make a lot of charitable contributions before I leave.”

Dyna remarked as she hugged her, “Wow, that is so awesome. I adore you and wish you nothing but the best in anything you do. Everything you intend to accomplish will be communicated to me. I adore you, my child.” Gwen was relieved and stepped out of the car as Dyna drove away from the house. She returned to her office with a cheerful heart, while Gwen and Ham returned to the house holding hands. They picked up where they left off. They had sexual relations the entire night. As a result, all of her divorce nightmares vanished from her heart and mind. In the embrace of Ham, her security guard, she found love.
