Chapter 883 The Matter Comes to a Conclusion
Seeing the sparkle in Tiffany’s eyes, Leon’s face softened with tenderness.
With a gentle smile, he said, “Seeing you this happy makes me happy too.”
“You haven’t had much rest these days, have you? Why don’t you take a good break today?”
Tiffany nodded, her smile growing even brighter.
After a moment, she seemed to remember something and couldn’t help but say, “By the way, since Freya and Albert are here, should we go out and have some fun once things settle down? We can take the kids along too.”
“We haven’t spent much quality time with them lately.”
Tiffany’s eyes sparkled with excitement, showing how earnest she was about the idea.
Leon considered her words for a moment before nodding without hesitation.
“Sure.”
“The company’s affairs are mostly handled now, so there shouldn’t be any major issues.”
“I’ll let you know once I’ve taken care of everything. See if Freya is up for it.”
“If it works out, we can make a plan and figure out the details, or I can arrange everything.”
Leon’s deep voice was reassuring.
Hearing this, Tiffany’s eyes sparkled even more, and she couldn’t help but feel warm inside.
Knowing that Leon had everything covered, she felt incredibly happy and relieved.
Taking a deep breath, Tiffany said excitedly, “Leon, having you by my side makes me feel so secure.”
Leon, driving the car, was momentarily stunned by her words but then smiled and said, “Tiffany, I often feel the same way. Especially when facing these problems, I couldn’t have managed so smoothly without you.”
“I’ve always believed we’re meant to be together. That’s why we’ve been able to keep going and make our lives better.”
Tiffany nodded with a smile.
By now, the sky outside had darkened.
Noticing the night and feeling the cool breeze, she found the moment strangely comforting.
“I don’t know why, but now that everything’s settled, I feel especially happy.”
Leon glanced at her during a brief pause in the traffic.
He saw Tiffany sitting by the window, her hair gently blowing in the wind.
The sight was mesmerizing, making it hard to look away.
They sat in comfortable silence until the car stopped.
Seeing the lights on in the villa, Tiffany naturally thought of the children she hadn’t seen much of lately.
Due to Freya’s issues and subsequent company and entertainment industry matters, she hadn’t had much time or energy for them.
Now, finally having this opportunity, Tiffany felt a wave of warmth and relief.
Once they got out of the car, Leon held her hand tightly.
Even though they’d been together for a while, their closeness was like that of newlyweds.
As they opened the villa door, three small figures rushed toward them.
“Mommy! Daddy! You’re back!”
The adorable voices melted Tiffany’s heart instantly.
She reached out to hug them, her smile growing even brighter.
“Why are you still up so late?” she asked with a laugh.
The TV was still playing cartoons, adding to the cozy atmosphere.
Flora peeked out from the hug, her eyes wide and serious. “Mommy, did you forget? It’s the weekend, no school. We slept in and even took a nap today, so we’re not tired at all.”
Barry and Sam nodded earnestly, their little faces serious.
“And we haven’t seen you and Daddy in so long. We wanted to wait for you to come home.”
Seeing the sincerity in their eyes, Tiffany’s heart softened even more.
As time passed and the house grew quieter, Tiffany fought back a lump in her throat. She looked at her children, then at Leon.
“Do you have any work left to do tonight? If not, maybe we could…”
Leon smiled warmly, his patience clear. “I have nothing else to do. Let’s spend some time with the kids.”
Hearing the children’s cheers, Tiffany’s smile grew even wider.
After playing on the sofa for a while, the kids exchanged mysterious glances.
“Mommy, Daddy, we have a surprise for you. Close your eyes, okay?”
Tiffany, still smiling, looked puzzled and curious.
“A surprise? What kind of surprise?”
The kids exchanged another glance but didn’t reveal anything.
“It’s a secret. Close your eyes, both of you.”
Though unsure of what was happening, Tiffany’s expression softened.
With a smile, she agreed. “Alright, I’ll close my eyes. I’m excited to see what you’ve prepared for us.”
She closed her eyes, and Leon, hearing the children’s eager urging, followed suit.
“Daddy, close your eyes too.”
“Okay, okay, I’m closing them.”
Leon’s deep voice was full of affection as he closed his eyes.
After a moment of silence, thinking the kids had left, Flora’s serious voice broke through.
“Mommy, Daddy, no peeking! Flora’s watching.”
Tiffany couldn’t help but chuckle.
Her tone was a mix of amusement and patience. “Alright, we won’t peek!”
