Chapter 217: Part 113 b

Oh well. Talking to Olive not only requires patience but also readiness for all her quirks.

Seira hasn't closed the balcony area where she's still standing faithfully. Some people in this apartment, including Olive and Thomas, and Koni, whom she asked not to leave, must have fallen asleep by now. The watch on her left wrist already points past twelve. But Robert still hasn't arrived.

Two hours ago, their flight encountered no problems. They arrived safely at Soekarno Hatta, not even a single delay, and the flight went smoothly as it should. This immediately earned a huge sigh of relief from Seira. Also from other family members because, really, that news was quite worrying. Gisel is waiting for news from Seira about her son, just like herself, Gisel also has a great concern.

But why hasn't Robert arrived yet? The journey from the airport to this apartment shouldn't take long, right?

"Taking forever, huh?" Seira sighs softly. But it seems Seira's wait ends when the doorbell rings quite loudly. It makes her put down the cup of tea that Koni made before she went to sleep. Koni has reminded Seira several times to rest for a while. But unfortunately, talking to Seira in this state won't be listened to.

"Ro?" Seira calls out cheerfully as she opens the door but...

"For Madam from Mister," says Johan, showing a large bouquet of flowers made of... money?

Seira's eyes dart back and forth between the bouquet and Johan who came alone without Robert. She can't just accept it without knowing where Robert actually is.

"Where's Sir?" she asks, confused. "You were on the same flight with Sir, right? What happened to Robert?" Seira presses without pause. She doesn't care much about the money bouquet that two people have to hold so it won't fall. She also ignores when Johan asks the two to bring in the bouquet dominated by elegant and classy red and black colors.

"Madam, just call him yourself. Sir should have called since earlier." Johan smiles thinly.

Seira, who left her phone in her room, rushes inside, and sure enough, her phone vibrates softly where two unanswered calls are displayed. Both from Robert. She immediately slides the green button. Not forgetting, she puts on a pouting face. Mimicking Olive's way of dramatizing situations, which turns out to be quite enjoyable.

Well... Thomas isn't mad, but instead, he's more affectionate towards his daughter.

Does Seira do that too, huh? Hmm... worth a try.

"Hi, My Love," greets Robert with a wide smile. This connected call, a video call where Seira becomes more determined to sulk all night long. Let Robert panic!

Seira remains silent. Intentionally placing her phone leaning against the mirror on her vanity table. From the reflection, her current expression can be clearly seen.

"Oh, why, silent? What's wrong? Did you receive the bouquet?"

Seira pouts.

"Oh my God, don't be like this, Seira." Robert sounds a bit panicked. "I'm sorry I couldn't come back there. Mommy asked me to come home at the airport. Johan came there on purpose to take my suit and clothes for tomorrow."

"That's it?" Seira grumbles but then rushes to the storage room where the clothes they will wear tomorrow are already perfectly hung.

"Yes. That's it." Robert smiles. His eyes follow his future wife as she walks around his room. Robert knows exactly where Seira spends the night even though she's not with him on his big bed.

Seira calls Johan and hands over what Robert needs. Along with grumbling words because her boss acts so whimsically without thinking that she's here, anxiously waiting for him.

Johan says, "I've told Sir too. At least, Madam should be informed but you're smiling like that."

Seira can't continue her grumbling. Johan himself looks tired and needs rest.

"Well, you go home soon. Don't be late tomorrow."

"Yes, Madam." Johan leaves where the two flower bearers follow his steps out of this luxurious unit. Seira waits until the three of them are really inside the elevator. She immediately closes the door and locks it again.

Truly, even though the security level in this apartment is considered very good, Robert least likes it when the main door is unlocked. That's why Seira is used to turning the key that always hangs there. After that, she returns to her room and grabs her phone.

"Done."

"Thanks, My Love."

"Hmm!"

"Why, just like that? Not missing me?" Robert asks, still with a wide smile.

"Nope!" Seira retorts irritably. "I'm tired. Wanna sleep." She grabs one of the pillows and lies down. "Still want to talk?"

"Seira," says Robert softly. This time, his smile is gone, leaving only a slight pull at the corner of his lips. It makes the red-haired woman stare at the man through her phone screen.

"I'm sorry for being late with the update. Mommy really made me dizzy in the car and I couldn't argue with all her words."

"I was worried, Ro!" Seira says, holding back the tremble in her voice. "I was afraid that..."

"I'm fine, Love." Robert sighs softly. "I just want to be near you. Holding you tight while whispering, there's nothing for you to worry about."

Seira pouts softly, grumbling afterwards.

"I miss you so much, Love. Really miss you," Robert says softly. "But I have to be patient. Until nine in the morning, we'll meet, right?"

"Don't be late," Seira says softly. "I don't like anyone being late to an important event in my life."

"No, Honey."

"What if you're late?" Seira still has worries.

"I'll mess up your lipstick at the reception later."

"Robert!!!"

For whatever Robert has, a scream that can make his ears hurt, yet there's a sense of relief in that voice, wrapped in the same magnitude of Olivean.

"Good night, Future Wife. We'll meet soon. I entrust this longing in prayer before bedtime now. May God bless our steps, okay."

Seira couldn't help but finally smile. "Amen."

"Ti Amo, Seira."
