Chapter 275: Mind's Eye
Cassian
The nest swallows her whole, pillows, blankets and shirts cradling her writhing form as Rhaziel kneels between her thighs, his shadows already coiling like promises around her ankles. Allison's mind hits me like a tidal wave of fractured, feverish thoughts splintering into raw need without words to bind them. I know she's had a heat before from siphoning from Kael or Evadner. I remember seeing the afterpath, but this is new territory for her. This isn't a siphoned heat; this one is hers. Back then, it was just Evander and Kael, a contained storm of two shifters knowing exactly what she needed to get her through. Now, with five mates circling, her psyche is a whirlpool of desires, echoing louder than her screams. I slide onto the edge of the nest, my hand finding her wrist, grounding her mentally. I'm here, sweetheart. Let me guide them. Her response isn't coherent; it's a flash of hunger, an ache, a burn beneath her skin, demanding release.
"She needs touch," I say aloud, voice steady like I'm lecturing a class, though my pulse races. "Everywhere. Overwhelm the chaos."
Rhaziel nods, his fingers removing her pyjamas, shadows teasing higher as he leans in, mouth claiming her core with a slow, deliberate lick that makes her arch. She gasps, thoughts exploding: More. Deeper. Now. Kael's at her side in a flash, hellhound grin wicked as he captures a nipple between his teeth, nipping just hard enough to draw a moan.
"Like that, baby?" he murmurs. I catch her mental surge—approval laced with fire. Evander positions himself behind her head, his massive hands massaging her shoulders, dragon warmth seeping into her tense muscles.
"Breathe through it," he rumbles, but her mind whispers otherwise: Harder. Claim me. I relay it softly.
"She wants pressure, Evander. Mark her, gently."
He complies, fingers digging in, thumbs circling the base of her neck where her pulse hammers. Christopher hovers at the periphery, his eyes wide, uncertainty rolling off him in waves. He's new to this circle, hasn't crossed that intimate line with her yet. He's hesitant, hands clenched as if afraid to intrude. I can understand that.
"Allison," he says, voice tentative, kneeling closer but not touching. "Are you sure? About... all of this? About me being here?"
Her eyes flutter open, locking on his, a brief clarity piercing the haze. Yes. Stay. Need you close. I voice it for her.
"She wants you here, Christopher. She's sure. But start slow. Hold her hand, talk to her." He nods, relieved, slipping his fingers into hers, thumb stroking her knuckles.
"I'm right here," he whispers. "Whatever you need."
The heat builds, her body slick and trembling. Rhaziel's tongue delves deeper, shadows vibrating against her clit, and her thoughts scream: Inside. Fill me.
"Rhaziel," I direct, "she needs you now." He rises, shedding clothes with demonic efficiency, positioning himself at her entrance. One thrust, and she's filled, crying out as he sets a punishing rhythm, shadows binding her wrists to the nest for that edge of restraint she craves. Kael shifts lower, mouth joining Rhaziel's efforts, licking where they're joined, his hellfire breath heating her skin. Her mind fractures further: Bite. Mark. More mouths.
"Kael, bite her thigh." He does, fangs grazing, and she bucks, pleasure spiking through our bond.
Evander leans down, capturing her lips in a deep kiss, his dragon growl vibrating through her. Hands on me. Everywhere. I guide my own, sliding up her side, cupping a breast, pinching just so. Her thoughts swirl to me: Cassian, deeper in my mind. Anchor me. I push further, weaving calm threads through the storm, letting her feel our collective devotion. Christopher watches, face flushed, but he stays vigilant, wiping sweat from her brow with a cool cloth he'd conjured.
"Tell me if it's too much, Valkyrie."
Her squeeze on his hand answers, her mind brushing his: Perfect. Don't stop. I don't need to relay it; I watch the words float through their minds, and he smiles softly, leaning to kiss her forehead, whispering encouragements.
Waves crash over her, orgasms ripping through one after another. Rhaziel spills first, shadows pulsing as he comes deep inside her, pulling out only for Evander to take his place. The dragon's thrusts are steady, powerful, his hands pinning her hips.
"Mine," he growls, and her mind echoes: Yours. Kael follows, flipping her onto her stomach, entering from behind with playful slaps that make her laugh through moans.
"That's my girl," he teases, but his pace turns serious, driving her higher.
I slip in last, positioning her on her side, facing Christopher. As I thrust slow and deep, her thoughts clear momentarily: Love this. All of you. "She feels us," I murmur to the room, voice strained with my own release building. Christopher holds her gaze, his free hand tracing her arm. "You're incredible," he says. "So strong."
The peak hits—her body clenching around me, mind a white-hot burst of ecstasy. I follow, spilling with a groan, collapsing beside her as the wave ebbs. But the heat simmers still, not done.
Allison turns her head, eyes locking on Christopher. Her voice emerges, hoarse but certain, "I need you now too."
Rhaziel nods, shadows retreating as he stands. "Give them space." Evander pulls back, a protective rumble in his throat, but he complies. Kael grins, clapping Christopher on the shoulder.
"Treat her right."
I extricate myself gently, pressing a kiss to her temple. We'll be close.
We file toward the bathroom. As the door clicks shut behind us, leaving them alone in the nest, I hear her soft murmur to Christopher, something intimate and inviting. They deserve their space and privacy, for the first sound time at least. From what I know about heats, it's going to be a long couple of days for all of us. The water drowns out the rest, but her mind brushes mine one last time before it goes quiet. We take turns under the spray, quiet and waiting. Brothers in this bond, giving her what she deserves—a moment just for them.
