Chapter 90: The Honeymoon

Keira's Pov

I had no idea that my mates have a habit of staying shirtless indoors when there are no wars to fight. I would have issues with that if only they didn't look so damn appealing. Servants of all ages do stare at them, but I am confident that they are mine, now and always.

I lean down and kiss Garren's bare back as he lays flat on the couch beside me. A pleasant smile curves on his lips.

"There are better places I would have preferred the touch of your lips on. My mouth for instance," he says, turning to lay on his back so I can have access to his lips.

"You do not get to decide where I kiss," I state before pouring a little of my wine on his chest.

His eyes widen in shock, "what are you doing?"

"Adding a flavour to the places I want to kiss," I answer before licking a little of the wine off the soft skin of his ni**le.

He stares at me in surprise, but only for a brief moment before he pulling me down and kissing me aggressively.

I am about to run out of breathe when the sound of the door swinging open forces him to let go.

His brothers stand by the open door when I turn to see who entered the room.

"The singer is here," Conrad informs.

It's been three weeks since we decided to suspend our worries and focus on enjoying our honeymoon. My father had to return to Silverthorn and become the alpha after a week passed with no troubles in our palace.

Our kingdom has been so harmonious that I am starting to think that all we had heard about angel Zedon was untrue. I still have a hard time believing the claims of the old priest, that my mates are sons of an actual, dead Angel, and heirs of the greatest kingdom. If that were true Zedon would not let them live this long.

Fenris suggested that we let in a few talented perfomers to entertain us during the nights of our honeymoon. It was my decision to call the singer from Blackwolves pack to perform tonight after Allen told me about her magical dances.

Fenris and Conrad were out in search of the perfect spot for our tomorrow's morning picnic and must have just gotten back.

"Is that . . . wine on your chest?" Conrad asks with a frown after noticing the wetness on his brother's chest.

"Our wife -" Garren starts but I cut him short.

"He thought it was a good idea to smell like old grapes," I quickly say.

His brothers frown in disgust.

"That is a lie," Garren defends but of course his brothers believe me more.

"You can use my perfume instead, but only for today," Fenris offers.

Garren doesn't bother arguing further. Instead he reaches out the nearest cloth and uses it to clean his chest.

"Sorry, I wasn't going to let your brother's know that I am the crazy one," I whisper in his ear as he wipes the mess.

"There will be a punishment for this," he says, still pecks my forehead on his way up to go find a shirt.

It's disappointing that they have to cover up in front of new guests, their beauty is most enchanting with their massive wings out. I part of me wants the world to envy them.

"I hope our singer is as good as Allen's praises made her sound," I say as I join Conrad and Conrad and Fenris on the way to the ballroom.

"My guess is he was just looking for a reason to talk to you," Fenris responds with a huff.

It's understandable that Allen has feelings for me, but he is neither my mate or something I love. I hope he realises that I can only be with my husbands before it's too late. We cannot just send him away after he risked his Life to help us. I hope he actually knows this singer, otherwise he will have proved my mate's accusation.

CONRAD'S POV

The singer pulses at the center of the room with a living snake wrapped around her waist. She is almost as beautiful as our queen, but lacks the priceless personality that makes Keira one in a million

She starts to sing a very flirtatious song while slowly swaying her hips. The snake moves around her body, making it seem like they are embracing. Her dance is indeed magnificent, so is her voice.

"She has a talent," Keira comments.

Seems like her admirer didn't lie. The woman showcases great scale.

As the song progresses, she moves closer, and the snake slithers off her body. With a single pull of a string, the top layer of her garment drops, leaving her in a thin, tighter cloth that outlines her curves. She drops to the floor and and continues to do an intimate dance while her eyes remain fixed at us.

She stands and bows after ending the performance.

"I hope my performance pleased you, your majesties. It is a great honour to sing and dance in your presence. I came prepared to do another performance upon your request," she announces.

I doubt I want another round of her pathetic attempt at seduction. None of my brothers appear interested either.

"You should also know that as a passionate performer I offer to be of service to you in every other way you would like me to," the woman shamelessly adds.

"Every other way?" Keira asks in annoyance. "How else were you hoping to be of service to my husbands?" she inquires.

The singer hangs her head in shame. "My only wish was to delight you . . . in every way I can," she stupid answers.

"Your performance was distasteful at best. Now get out before I decide to relieve you of your foolish head!" she threatens.

The woman immediately turns and runs off. It's strange that the harsh words of our queen pleased me more than that woman's desperate performance. She sounded so possessive of us. Which I think is prove enough that she truly loves us.

Our assistance, Henry, walks in in a hurry before our next entertainer.

"Your majesties, apologies for interrupting your entertainment session, but there is an urgent matter that requires your attention," he says.

Fenris gestures at him to go ahead and speak.

"About five hundred starving refugees from Woodland pack just arrived outside the gates of your palace. Many are injured, women and children. They say the neighbouring Lycan pack attacked them. They are begging for your help; food, shelter and perhaps . . . protection," he informs.
