Chapter 106: Chapter 106

Agatha's POV

“I'm sure you know what to do?” I asked, Clara, the stripper for the umpteenth time, and she nodded excitedly.

“Yes, I absolutely know what I have to do.” Clara said and flashed me an assuring smile, but I wasn't satisfied. I sighed. This has to work. We couldn't afford to fail by bringing Aaron to his knees. If he picks Clara as his favorite tonight, it'd be easy to get through his privacy.

I glanced at excited Clara with what looked like worries. “I can't afford you to lose, Clara. Will you be able to do this?” I asked.

She rolled her eyes. “This is the tenth time you've been saying this. I can assure you that I will give in my best. Aaron is one of the Madam's favorite clients, she'll clearly push through.” She assured me.

“Madam CJ will be here-”

“He is around, Miss Agatha!” Madam CJ's voice was suddenly heard as she rushed into the little spaced changing room with an excited squeal.

I had used Madam CJ because I was fully aware of her love for money. Madam CJ was the type who would sacrifice anything for the sake of money, but at the same time, she renders love to her workers.

“That is good.” I turned to Clara, who was dressed for tonight's show. “Clara can go on, right?”

“Yes, he seems in the mood and can't wait any longer. This would be so easy!” Madam CJ squealed again as she reapplied little make-up on Clara's face.

“What do I have to do?” Clara blurted.

I groaned. “I thought we've talked about this, Clara! You are supposed to dance at the pole and seduce him until he decides to go home with you.” I reminded her.

“Yeah. Got it.” She winked as Madam CJ led her out of the changing room and towards the stage.

“You have just risked one of my worker's life, Agatha.” Madam CJ's face turned stern as she gazed at me.

“I paid you a lot of money for tonight, Madam CJ. We discussed this earlier, and I think Clara will be fit for the job. She is the most beautiful among them, and also with nice curves to drive men crazy. She'd be a good trap for him to fall into.” I explained to her.

“Mr Aaron Walker has been a long-time client of mine, I would rather not cause a rift between us and tarnish my club. So I want to believe you have everything under control?” She inquired with furrowed brows.

“Absolutely. He won't do anything because he won't figure out.” I assured Madam CJ.

“If you say so.” She muttered with a quick nod before walking out, and I followed suit, making sure I wasn't seen by anyone.

I silently sauntered to the underground club where the strippers engaged in their activities, the sound of music from the speakers booming so loud. My eyes danced on the stage as I watched Clara dance to the tune of the slow music playing.

Fuck. How was she possibly twisting her waist that way?

My eyes suddenly wandered to a hand that was immediately raised in the air, signalling Clara to come from the stage towards him.

I watched her keenly as she did slow sexy steps towards the raised finger, and instantly, a smile of victory lingered on my lips.

Aaron-fucking-Walker.

It was good that he was falling into our trap. He wouldn't know what's coming for him.

My gaze fixated on Clara, who seductively gave him a lap dance as they got engrossed in a conversation I didn't want to know. I entirely ignored the other strippers on stage when Aaron began peppering her with kisses as they both stood up with Clara giggling.

Clara's eyes found mine despite the neon lights that made the atmosphere full, and I grinned.

“Go on,” I mouthed to her, as she gave me a quick nod before going after him.

I sighed in relief, and rubbed my hands. I prayed, this time, my plan would work. I didn't have time on my side any longer to be beating around the bush. Eric has no intention on getting out of that shitty place, and I was going to be the one who gets him out of there certainly.

Quietly, I trailed behind them as they kept chatting and giggling while leaving the club. Anytime Aaron glances back to see from behind, I'd hide in the dark to prevent myself from being seen until he got to his car.

“Hop in, Cupcake.” I heard him say in low, and calm voice to Clara who suddenly went on a panic mode like this was her first time hanging out with a guy.

My brows creased, the muscles in my jaw clenched, but I stood on my ground.

“Hold on, where are we going?” She asked.

“What do you mean by that? Don't you know your work?” Aaron rebutted.

Clara gave a nervous chuckle. “It's not that way. I know my work, Mr Aaron, I'm just surprised that you're taking me elsewhere.” She muttered.

Surprisingly, he snorted and walked to hold her waist. “You are my favorite, and I picked you tonight. You deserve to be shown around the world, and not only the club, Cupcake. I want to take you to a place we can enjoy ourselves without any interruption.” He mused and kissed Clara before she could stop it.

“Fool,” I cursed under my breath.

Jeez. I knew that I was placing her at risk, and I regretted it at same time, but at the same time, she understood the job and took the role. Aaron was a psychopath, and he won't hesitate to murder her when he finds out her actual plan.

“Really, Mr Aaron? You think I deserve to be shown around the world?” Clara beamed pretentiously, and I smiled, loving where the conversation was going.

“Of course, Cupcake. Come in, let's move!” He replied and trod to the driver's seat as Clara slowly got in without a second thought while I watched from the dark.

I sighed softly, praying silently that it'd go well. Aaron has to pay for everything he's done and deserve to face the law.

The next morning, I received information from the hospital Mom was admitted that she'd regained consciousness again, and I'd rushed down to her ward.

“Mom...” I trailed off as I beheld Mom on the bed, and, Dad by her side.

Mom was on an oxygen mask, but she could say something as she was kept under an IV.

“Mom...” I called again.

“Agatha,” Mom called.

“You are awake, Mom! You're awake!” I squealed and rushed to the other side to get a comfortable view of her.

I glanced at Dad. “When did she regain herself , Dad?”

“It's been up to four hours, still so early in the morning. ” Dad responded.

“How did she- I mean, didn't he say anything about her?” I asked slowly.

“He gave you the informations we all need to know, didn't it?” Dad uttered.

“Mom passed out as a result of a heart attack.” I announced, sharing a look with Mom, who looked devastated.

“Agatha...”

“Mom, I'm sorry.” I broke into tears, holding unto Mom's free hands. “I should have told you sooner. Dad and I were supposed to tell you sooner, Mom.”

I saw fear in Mom's eyes for the first time in years. “T-The news he gave isn't true, right? Eric is innocent, and he only went for a business trip. Laura isn't missing but resting at home, isn't it?” Mom asked like someone who refused to believe the truth.

I shook my head sadly.

“Mom..”

“Tell me it isn't true!” Mom demanded.

“Don't stress yourself, Hun. You are just recovering, and the doctor said that you need to rest. ” Dad tried his best to calm Mom down, but she kept fuming, glaring at me.

“Please listen to Dad and rest. You've just recovered, and it'd be stressed for you again. We've got everything under control, Mom.”

“No! Take me to him! I want to see my son!”

“Mom! No, you can't-”

“Don't try to stop me, Agatha! Take me to Eric!" Mom persisted as she tried to pull off the oxygen mask but Dad swiftly stopped her.

“Stop that, Hun. He is fine and healthy, nothing wrong is happening to anyone. Calm down, Hun.”

“I want to see him, Hun. I need to see him. I need to see Laura's as well. I came back for them remember. We can't loose them,” Mom shook her head fearfully and anxiously.

“Everything is under control, Mom. Please relax and stop thinking too much. I promise you that they are both safe,”

“They aren't safe! I need to go see them! Something must be happening!” Mom persisted, trying to get up by all means.

I hastily pushed the emergency button as two nurses rushed in. The next moment, they injected her a dose and she fell into a deep slumber.

“She's suffering from a lost, do not share any information that might risk her health.”
