Ritual 7: Her Story.

“ Did you just say your mate is a vampire?” Erik asks in disbelief.

“ Yes, and presently she is staying with me until I figure out what the matter really is” Sean said, ignoring his friends' foreign looks.

“ Did you even understand the consequence of what is happening here?, You can't be with a vampire, they are our sworn enemy. They can't carry our babies, they can only serve as whore.” Erik explains panting.

“ That will never happen to her, I won't let anyone hurt a strand of her hair. “ He gets up from his seat and strolls towards Erik.

“ I came here to tell you my intention was to marry in front of everyone. She is my mate and I must protect her.” He said in a defiance way.

“ I understand your pain, buddy…"

“ No you don't” Sean growls.

“ Alright, let's have a council meeting about this, I'm sure the elders will conclude the right thing.” Erik said, tapping Sean on his shoulder.

“ How is she?” Erik asks.

“ She's fine.” Sean said, frowning.

“ I wish to meet her soon.” He said, trying to lighten up the mood.

“ Sure, you will meet her as soon as I get answers to all that is happening.” Sean retorted.

“ I will summon the council for the next meeting, that will commence next week.” Lucia said, eager that they are leaving soon.

“ Sure, you do that and make it next week, I have a busy schedule this week” he said looking at Lucia.

Juliana's pace around her room. Suddenly, she stopped and bent her head to a side and murmured to herself," didn't he see me?, he didn't greet me good morning, and he was there asking Lucia all about her night.”she said and puffed out in frustration.

“ Wait, am I jealous or what? No…no…no…no I can never be jealous of Lucia, she seems to be a good person.” She said, trying to convince herself.

" You stood up for her that's all that matters, you fought your friend for her, and you are ready to fight the entire moon rose pack…! You are spectacular.” Lucia said in disbelief as they got into the elevator.

“ Don't worry, everything will end well.” She added.

“ I'm not bothered about that.” Sean said calmly.

“ Then why is your mood still sullen?” She asks.

“ I just don't know why I kept feeling something is wrong somewhere, but can't pinpoint what's wrong.” He said, rubbing the back of his neck.

" Don't worry, things will work out in your favor.” She said, smiling.

“ How sure are you?” He asks suspiciously.

“ I go into the future.” She said, grinning.

“ Are you sure I will win the case.” He asks with a sparkle in his eyes.

“ I thought you'd get mad at me for reading your future without your consent.” She said, sighing of relief.

“ Don't make a habit of that, but I love the results of this it's so exciting, so I will let you go this time.” He said, grinning widely.

They get to the garage and in no time zoom off.

“ Are you ready to listen to her story? “ She asks in a serious voice.

" Yeah, let's talk about it at the park over a cup of coffee.” He suggested.

“Alright” she said, not looking half dead.

“ Is it that bad” he asked, looking worried.

“ Yeah, terrible for an innocent soul like hers.” She said, still gazing at the road.

A few minutes later, Sean pulls over, and they walked hand in hand to Madrid Río park.

Sean went to a café to get two cups of coffee.

Madrid Río: This park stretches along the banks of the Manzanares River, covering an extensive area in the southwestern part of Madrid. Madrid Río features beautiful landscaped areas, pedestrian and cycling paths, playgrounds, and sports facilities. It's a great place to go for a stroll, ride a bike, or simply relax by the river.

Sean gives a cup of cappuccino to Lucia and has a cup of iced coffee for himself.

“ Let's go for a stroll” Sean suggested.

“Alright”Lucia said, looking indifferent.

“ Did you want the details of her birth or why was she being chased?” She asks, sipping cappuccino.

“ I'd prefer all” he said, taking a deep breath.

“ Before Juliana was born, there have been a prophecy that the vampire goddess is coming to life again. She is coming in the form of an ordinary vampire, and she will be born into the royal family of vampires.” She said, gulping down cappuccino.

“ For like a century the prophecy did not come to the past, so many started to let it fade.”

“ Then here comes the real story” she said as they stopped to sit on a bench within the playground.

“ Juliana's father prince Drake as a that time, was in love with his younger sister (princess Lacey)” personal maid (Irene) who is a witch, but he couldn't voice out his feelings because of the royal rules of marriage. He can only take her in as a concubine and every child she bares will not be hers.

“ The vampires wanted to strengthen their bond with the demons, so they gave princess Lacey hand in marriage to a demon at the age of sixteen. Irene was only fourteen years then. She could not follow the princess because it was part of their tradition to go alone with the husband.”

“Irene and Lacey shared a strong bond. They did everything together and were best of friends.”

“ Since her lady is out of the palace, she was also thrown out of the palace, Irene suffered a lot because she hasn't stepped outside the palace ever since her parents were killed, and she was captured as a slave when she was only three years of age. The world outside was so cruel.”

“ Two years after prince Drake's marriage was announced. He was only twenty years then he was to get married to lady sky (a very beautiful and fierce lady) she was two years older than Irene.”

“ When Irene heard of the marriage, she was so excited and went back to the palace to seek for a job as the lady's hand maid."
