CHAPTER 1: - THE CONTRACT

In the world of business there were two young billionaire who runs a huge, successful business empire that became an international renowned company.

Evolution contract was run by the Aarav Kapoor, elder son of the Jairaj Kapoor. The chairman of the company was Jairaj Kapoor only for name’s sake all the work of the company signing the contract, deal with the project, are all done by Aarav Kapoor who is the CEO of the company. Buildtech creations was the second huge company it was run by the Yash Malhotra who was CEO, the only son of the chairman of the company Viraj Malhotra, has one younger sister Kaviya Malhotra who was very precious to Yash Malhotra. Viraj doesn’t deal with the company; all the work of the company was done by Yash. Both companies were a rival with each other. The main reason for both the companies to become rival was Aarav and Yash as they shared the same past, both were equally intelligent and wanted their company to be the no. 1 international company.

The government wished for a developed city, for which they wanted to demolish all the slums area and convert them into a modern area which have all the facilities like mall, cinema, metro, etc. to fulfil the citizen’s needs. Both companies wanted to grab this big opportunity as it will gives huge profit in future, only these two companies were in competition as others were very well aware that they couldn’t stand against them. Both started working on their plan and presentation they will present in front of the government officials.

Darsh Kapoor was the younger son of the Jairaj Kapoor. Darsh was currently in London pursuing MBA degree, studying from the same University from where Aarav had studied. The reason why he chose to study in that University was to know what had happened that made his elder brother introvert and workaholic. He was also curious to know why all the professor did not talk and see him as other students. They treated him rudely and strictly but surely; he knew one thing that somehow it was all related with Aarav. They didn’t treat him nicely because he was Aarav’s younger brother.

In the Malhotra mansion, there was a hall near a bonfire Viraj was sitting on a chair holding some papers and Kaviya was standing in front of him. She was seeking for permission from her father (Viraj) to let her go to London with her best friend Aarti Singh (daughter of Gaurav Singh) for one year. Kaviya always listened to and did everything her father and brother told her to do. This is the first time she was asking something for herself for her own will. On seeing this, her father couldn’t decline her wish so he granted her permission to live her life for one-year whichever way she wants. Kaviya got very happy she hugged her father, and then she ran upstairs towards her room for packing. She was very excited to make some good and happy memories, and to live with full of enjoyment.

It was a big day for Evolution contracts and Buildtech Creation. Both the companies had to present their business plans and presentation in front of the government officials. And they will decide which company will be suited for the contract.

Aarav and Yash both arrived on the venue along with their PA and team. The first one present the plan was Yash, so he entered into the conference hall while Aarav was waiting outside with his team. After 50 minutes Yash came out and the officials were very impressed by his presentation and plan. While Aarav was walking towards the entrance of the conference hall Aarav and Yash came face to face, they both saw each other with lots of hate in their eyes.

In a cold and calm tone Yash said, “Mr. Aarav you better find some other project, because I can’t see my rival to lose crores”.

Aarav buried both his hands inside his pants pocket and chuckled “Mr. Yash you are behaving as though you already own the contract, I would suggest you that you should find some other project instead of advising me.”

Saying this Aarav started walking while Yash was gritting his teeth in anger. And he headed back towards his company. Before getting back to his company Yash ordered one of his men to stay and keep an eye on Aarav’s plan and to update him on every Aarav’s moves.

After almost 1 hour and 30 minutes Aarav came out of the conference hall along with his team members. Aarav had prepared two plans from which one was his backup plan. Keeping in mind the safety of slum people he had executed his plan. He also, planned for shifting those slum people to a safe different place. While on the other hand Yash didn’t mention any of this, whereas Aarav always thinks of other people, and always help them whenever required. He was very kind hearted man, speaks politely with other people. Yash didn’t have any of these qualities in him, he is arrogant, rude, and a cold-hearted man. As soon as Yash’s man saw Aarav, he immediately called his boss.

“Hello, boss just now Aarav had come out from the hall.”

“Ok! You can go now.”

Stating this Yash hung up the call. He was sitting on his cabin chair. After disconnect the call he started thinking (I took 50 minutes to explain including all the details of my plan, but Aarav took 1 hour and 30 minutes. What could he be up to?) Meanwhile Yash thought of something he picked his phone from the table and called Siddharth - a member in government official but actually he is working for Yash, he is the one who keeps Yash updated about the situation in government offices.

“Hello, sir?” How may I help you.

“What idea did Aarav executed in front of the government officials let me know all the details about his plans.”

“Sir, Aarav has presented two plans which also includes the safety of the people”. And one more thing sir. (Siddharth hesitate to speak further).

Yash concentrated on his voice then Siddharth mentioned, it is impossible for me to convince the officials for your plans as they already decided to handover the contract to Evolution contracts.”

Without mentioning anything further Yash ended the call and he aggressively started throwing all the things from the table. Aarav had always been one step ahead of him.
