Chapter 2: - FRIENDSHIP

In the car Aarav was settled in the back seat and he was just gazing out of the window watching buildings passing by, roads were full of car, people busy with their respective works, where his phone rang, on seeing the caller ID he smiled and received the call.

“Aarav how was the meeting did it go well?”

“Yeah dad, the meeting was awesome they appreciated our plans, and I’m very much confident that we will own the contract.”

“It’s good then, I will be waiting for you in the office.”

“I am on my way to office dad; I’ll meet you soon.” Then Aarav hung up the call.

Within a few minutes Aarav reached the office. He immediately strode towards the chairman’s office and went inside and locked the door behind him. Jairaj was sitting on his chair busy referring some documents. As soon as he raised his head up, he saw his son in a happy mood. He congratulated him with a big smile on his face. Aarav made himself comfortable on the chair in front of his father table with legs crossed and hands on the armchair and started briefing the details of the meeting to his dad. After the discussion got over Aarav’s PA Dev knocked on the door and got in, holding a phone in his hand stating that it’s a call from the government officials, Aarav took the phone from him where he got the good news that Evolution contract got the deal. Both father and son hugged each other and congratulated once more. Dev also congratulated them and then father and son duo both left for home.

Bhavika (Aarav’s mother) was sitting on couch in a hall busy reading a magazine. The doorbell rang one of the servants goes and opened the door then Jairaj and Aarav entered inside. On seeing them Bhavika smiled and hugged them both, and then they all went on the dining table for dinner. Aarav mentioned the reason behind his smile to his mother where she also blessed him back. After dinner they all went to their respective rooms. On reaching the room Aarav called one of his men to keep an eye on Yash’s moves, because he was aware that Yash will play some dirty games like he always uses too.

It had been a day since Kaviya and Aarti step their foot in London. They were staying in Aarti’s apartment which was gifted by her father (Gaurav Singh) on her last birthday. First day they both spend doing nothing just busy arranging the stuffs, cleaning the house.

Darsh was in the college, heading out from the classroom. Just then his phone rang, he received it and on listening his elder brother’s cheerful voice he got very happy. He also congratulated his brother about the contract. As his inspiration is his brother. He always wanted to be like his him.

After a long about five years of waiting Darsh heard his brother’s laugh while rest of the time he was always in deep thoughts and doing work. So far after lots of investigation by Darsh he came to know the reason why teachers neglected him it’s because he is the younger brother of Aarav.

Aarti and Kaviya spend the whole day in shopping. As they both were carving for food and also tired at the same time, they planned for having dinner in the nearby restaurant. Darsh along with his friend Kartik went to the same restaurant where Aarti and Kaviya planned. They both were waiting for their orders, meanwhile Darsh and Kartik entered inside and a girl shouted “Darsh” loudly, as he turned himself towards the source of voice, he became surprised and happy. Darsh headed towards the girl followed by Kartik on his back.

“Hi, Aarti I didn’t know that you are in London.”

“Actually, Darsh I just came to London for a vacation a day ago, I am residing here with my best friend Kaviya, in my apartment.”

Darsh then noticed Kaviya and extended his hand towards her and introduced himself to her. Kaviya also shook her hand with him and addressed herself too. Kartik mentioned himself as Darsh’s best friend to them. Aarti invited them to join for dinner together. Darsh and Kartik stole a glance with each other accepted her offer and then they settled on square shaped table nearby.

Kaviya was facing towards Darsh while Aarti and Kartik were on the opposite side. They all were having fun where Darsh and Kaviya started knowing each other. Among them Darsh, Kartik and Aarti knew each other since their childhood. After the dinner Aarti and Kartik had a plan for cinema whereas Darsh and kaviya were not in a mood to join them so Darsh offered his car to Kaviya in order to drop her at Aarti’s apartment. Aarti and Kartik drove towards for cinema.

Kaviya was seated in the passenger seat while Darsh was driving. There was a complete silence in the atmosphere, only the sound of their breaths could be heard, where kaviya was having a watch outside the window and Darsh was fully concentrated on his driving. After a few minutes passed Darsh decide to get rid from that atmosphere, so he broke the silence.

“So, tell me something about your family.”

Hearing this kaviya turned towards him and replied, “There is nothing special about my family. There are altogether two members in my family an elder brother and my father. She stopped for a second and speak further my mother had passed away a year ago.”

Darsh was feeling sorry to her, he noticed a sad look on her face while she mentioned about her mother. To divert her mind he questioned, “What is the name of your brother?”

“Yash and what about your family.” She replied with a smile.

Darsh shrugged his shoulders while answering her question “Apart from my parents I also had an elder brother Aarav who is my inspiration.” Darsh smiled at the last five words.

“Ohh, so you are Aarav Kapoor’s brother. You didn’t like to show your face in media?”

“Yes, I don’t because if I disclose my reality than I will eventually have to lose my freedom, everywhere media will follow me.”

Kaviya laughs at his reply. Darsh knows that Aarav’s enemies are Malhotra’s but he didn’t know their names whereas kaviya also didn’t mentioned her surname on the other hand kaviya isn’t aware that she is having a conversation with the brother of her brother’s enemy. Yash and Viraj always keep Kaviya away from business, so she doesn’t know about Darsh and Aarav Kapoor.

The car stopped in front of the Aarti’s apartment building. Kaviya got out of the car and walked towards the apartment after saying goodbye to Darsh and a peaceful thank you to him. Darsh was watching Kaviya until she disappeared from his sight. He then drove off towards his apartment.
