Chapter 137: Adam's Punishment
Paul didn't think Cecil would climax so fast.
"Man, this woman really wants me," Paul mused, closing his eyes and feeling Cecil's pulsing walls.
Cecil's soft walls squeezed frantically during her orgasm, speeding up their movements. As her body shuddered to a finish, the orgasm faded, and her walls relaxed.
Breathing heavily, Cecil lay on top of Paul, his member still inside her.
"Usually, you'd finish right after me, but you're still rock hard," Cecil said, touching Paul's chin before suddenly sitting up. Her hips started moving again, kicking off another round.
That night, Cecil came three times, and Paul finally finished after her third orgasm.
While Paul was in the hospital, Cecil, Carol, Emma, and Michelle all came to see him.
Michelle, especially, was super grateful to Paul for saving Laura again.
"Thanks to you, Laura and I are really close now. She's even started studying seriously. I think she'll get into a good college," Michelle said, her eyes shining with gratitude and excitement.
When Paul brought up Adam, a fierce look flashed in Michelle's eyes.
"He'll be dealt with soon. You'll hear good news when you're out of here," Michelle said with a mysterious smile. She didn't go into details, and Paul didn't press. He trusted her to handle it.
Paul got out of the hospital after a week, and even the doctors were amazed at how well he was doing.
When Paul got back to the company, he found out some surprising news.
Adam had been charged with sexually assaulting multiple female artists and was handed over to the police. Even with the best lawyer, his future was toast.
Not just Adam, but everyone connected to him was either transferred or fired. There were a lot of vacancies, but new people quickly filled them.
As for Adam's position, the board had plans, but his replacement hadn't shown up yet.
A bunch of employees tied to Adam rushed to Katelyn's office, looking for answers.
Slouched in her chair, Katelyn waved them off, "Don't bother me. This is all the chairman's decision. At least you still have jobs, unlike those who got fired. So suck it up and deal with it."
Those deeply involved with Adam had to accept their bad luck, while some indirectly affected demanded the board pay up.
Fed up, Katelyn had security kick them all out.
When the office was empty, Katelyn angrily swept everything off her desk.
"Damn it, Adam, you idiot! I finally got the voting rights from you, and now because of you, I have to start all over again!" Katelyn fumed, punching the table.
On the company's rooftop, Paul heard about Adam's arrest and thought about telling Ciara, but after staring at his phone for a bit, he decided against it.
"Forget it. Since she's with Katelyn, Katelyn should tell her," Paul sighed, putting his phone away.
Enjoying the breeze on the rooftop, Paul held a can of coffee.
Michelle had told him that Katelyn lost a big chunk of her voting power because of Adam's downfall.
"Things are looking up," Paul thought, taking a sip of coffee. He suddenly heard voices from another corner of the rooftop. It sounded like Carol and Ida.
In a corner of the rooftop, Carol hugged Ida, cheering happily. "Thank you, Ida, for helping me."
Carol was thrilled because all the evidence that took down Adam came from Ida.
Ida smiled, "I wasn't just helping you, I was helping myself too. Adam had his eye on me for a while, but since I worked for Katelyn, he held back. But when he harassed me in the office and Katelyn didn't say anything, I knew I was being abandoned. But it's fine, I really don't like Katelyn anyway."
Ida smiled bitterly, and Carol looked at her sympathetically.
Taking Ida's hand, Carol asked, "You've been through a lot with Katelyn. How can I thank you?"
Pressing her lips together, Ida said, "If possible, can you lend me Paul?"
