Chapter 12

"Lucanne, stop it; this is so embarrassing," Lisa said.

Lisa pushed him out of the bathroom, and simultaneously, someone saw them at the door. Lisa was embarrassed and explained that she had not done anything with her husband in the bathroom. After the person left, Lisa felt relieved, but it still made Lisa angry with Lucanne.

"I don't want to be perverted in a public place like an animal that doesn't have the sense to think it's a bad thing," Lisa said.

"I'm an animal," Lucanne replied.

"Whatever!"

Lisa left the cafe while Lucanne still followed her. Lisa walked towards the market while looking at some exciting items, she was married, but her husband was poor with no money. How can one live without money? Oh yes, Lisa forgot that her husband was not an actual human but a werewolf who lived in a creepy forest.

"How did you get to know Moreno?" asked Lucanne, still walking after her.

"I've known him for a year, he helped me and gave me money when I lost it, but I had to return it to my father," Lisa replied.

"Just be careful because he's not a good werewolf, he's an evil one who likes to make trouble with other clans, and he also intends to take you away from me," Lucanne said.

The girl laughed at her husband's words; she couldn't get over the man, always thinking badly of others as if he was better. Lucanne just kept quiet. She had memorized Lisa's nature.

"Hahaha... you're so funny. Just say you're jealous of that guy because he's so handsome, kind, and understanding, especially since he's a werewolf with money, unlike you. You're so old-fashioned, Lucanne," Lisa said.

Lucanne did not want to reply to Lisa's words; he pulled his wife's hand and entered a bank with an ATM machine. Lucanne took out a card from her pocket and checked the card's balance on the ATM machine. Lisa was surprised to find such a large balance; she glanced at Lucanne while feeling embarrassed because she had insulted her for not having money.

"Why are humans obsessed with money?" Lucanne asked.

"Because without money, we would die," Lisa replied.

"Really? We werewolves can live without money for hundreds of years," said Lucanne.

"Humans and werewolves have very different needs. Okay, I apologize for underestimating you. I'm so sorry," Lisa said.

Lucanne smiled. "I'm hundreds of years old, and of course, all the money in this card has been collected. We chose to barter to maintain our traditions from generation to generation so that we could occasionally use the money if we needed difficult items."

"It turns out that you guys are already modern."

"You want to go shopping? I heard that humans, especially women, love to shop. You can use this money because you are my wife," Lucanne said.

Lisa, who heard it was pleased, wanted to buy a cell phone. Buying that expensive item would be no problem because Lucanne had a lot of money.

"All my friends have cell phones. Can I buy one? You know I've always been a poor girl living with my stepmother and would never have bought what I wanted," Lisa said.

"You can buy anything that makes you happy," Lucanne replied.

Lisa, who was happy, immediately kissed Lucanne's cheek, the man looked surprised and misbehaved, but he still showed his flat face like a man with great authority.

"But all this is not free. You have to serve me in bed after this," Lucanne said.

"Of course! I'll keep you satisfied," Lisa replied with a smile.

They went to a nearby cell phone shop, and everyone's eyes were on Lucanne when they entered. Lucanne's face was very handsome, with a body that had the shape of torn bread on his stomach; the muscles in his hands were also significant, so Lucanne was indeed the ideal type of man.

"Excuse me, please find my wife a nice new cell phone!" said Lucanne.

Lisa and Lucanne had returned to the Pack with a new cell phone; Lisa was pleased because her big wish to have a cell phone had finally come true. It turned out that she had married a werewolf and a wealthy werewolf.

"Alpha, Nick died," said Mark.

"What, no way!" said Lucanne.

They ran into Nick's house and saw that his brother was lifeless; Lucanne approached Nick's stiff body with a pale face. Meanwhile, Lisa was saddened that she couldn't cure Nick even though Lucanne had expected much from her.

"Alpha, we need to have the funeral as soon as possible before sunset," Mark said.

"Organize everything!" replied Lucanne.

Lucanne left the house feeling sad and lost; Lisa didn't dare to follow her and left her husband alone.

"Luna, I'm sorry if I'm being presumptuous with you, but I wanted to tell you that Nick's death was due to the medicine the human doctor put in. Humans and werewolves are very different, especially since human medicine is strong. Alpha will not blame you because you are his mate, but the people are disappointed in you. You are here as a newcomer; at least respect the rules," Mark said.

"Mark, if I get punished, then I'm ready to accept it," Lisa replied through tears.

"Only Alpha has the right to punish you, but I'm sure he won't have the heart," said Mark.

Lisa's tears fell; she approached Nick and apologized; she regretted bringing Nick to the human doctor. Lisa's tears fell on Nick's face and continued to flow. Meanwhile, Lucanne looked up at the sky; suddenly, it was raining so hard that it caused a storm that caused several houses to be destroyed.

"Alpha, how is this? We have to protect the children and women first," Mark said.

"You take them to safety while I take Luna and Nick," Lucanne replied
