CHAPTER 23
Amelia had barely managed to get any sleep. For the most part, she spent her time tossing and turning as she thought over what she had encountered in her dream. She wanted to believe there was a good explanation for it all, but all roads told her that what she had was actually a memory.
As the sun broke through the horizon, she was woken up by a loud banging sound at her door. She sat up abruptly with a jolt as she rubbed her eyes. She wondered what it could be.
She sat up slowly on her bed as she watched the door, and she found herself alert at first. But she watched in shock as the door was pulled open and a girl practically tumbled in. She was dressed in all black and had a dark lip stain, as well as a dark blue dress on.
She was fooled by a guard who helped her with her luggage. She looked at her curiously as she wondered what it was that she was trying to do. "How about you actually help me out instead of sitting there with your mouth wide open and staring at me like a weirdo?" She heard the girl say it, and she couldn't help but blush.
She watched as she looked over as she slowly stood up to her feet, and she didn't know why, but she felt as though she was turning her apart with her eyes. She gulped as she watched the girl stare at her expectantly once more. She hummed as she clearly held interest in her, but she was yet to be sure whether or not that interest was a good or bad thing.
"You aren't what I had expected, but I guess that you will have to do it. Now how about you stop acting all weird and actually try and help me out? This is a hard time, and I am a contestant. She said to her She watched as the door shut, and she couldn't help but panic. She hadn't expected that their roommate would be like this, and she wondered if there had been some type of mistake.
She let out a sigh from her lips as she shook her head. "I am sorry, but I am not made for you. I am a contestant as well." She said this to her and watched as she looked her over before staring at her with a raised eyebrow. It was as though she was wondering whether or not she was being serious.
"Oh wow. I guess this is going to be easier than I thought. How did they even pick you, girls? You look as though a small wind could pick you up, she said, and Amelia felt her eyes water at her words. She knew not to react to her, but she couldn't help it, as she knew to some degree that her words were true. Although she knew that it wasn't her fault, she had been feeling all types of emotions ever since the thing that had occurred when she had no control over her father. There was always a way that it had to be, and he was the one that made it that much harder for her.
"Look, can we just try and get along? That is what we are here for, right? To make out a statement in the pack. She said to her in a pleading tone, and she watched as she looked her over with a raised eyebrow before he let out a laugh from her lips. It was as though she were asking her whether she was being serious or not. And from the way that she only stared at her blankly in response, she knew that she was.
She sighed as she lowered her head and began to explain. Okay, well, I think that this is a game for some girls, but that is not it. For us, it is much more than that. We are here for a reason, and we have to win. That is the pile of all of this. What is the point of doing this if you know that you can't come out as the top dog? If not, you may as well die". She said to her, and she couldn't help but blush at her words as he let out a sigh from her lips.
She was pulled out of her thoughts when she heard a knock on the door, and she let out a sigh. She felt as though she could finally breathe properly again. She turned to the door and couldn't help but smile when she saw that it was Alice.
"Good morning, ladies." She said it to her with a grin. Amelia was cautious but faced her with a smile. "You lust for Bella." You are the last girl in, and so you are welcome." She said to her, but the girl didn't respond to her at first as she only huffed and gave her an eye roll. Amelia gasped at her attitude, and she couldn't believe that she had actually done that.
She turned to Alice, and she had expected her to have any form of reaction, but to her shock, she didn't, as she chose to simply ignore her. Well, it is good to see you. Let's get ready." She said to her, and Amelia blushed as she looked towards her with a slight look of curiosity on her face.
"What do we have to get ready for?" She said to her as she smiled at her in a curious way. She let out a sigh from her lips. Well, today we are having a sitting with the Alpha and some of the top generals, and so it is important that you are able to take care of things, he said, letting out a sigh from her pips. She struggled to make sense of it all.
Well, how are we supposed to come to terms with that? Are they going to judge Os again? Haven't they done that enough? she said to her as she began to speak slightly. She felt her breathing become heavy as she struggled to calm herself down. She had thought that this was a good idea.
She struggled to come to terms with it all. She wanted to keep herself in check, and she waited to get to the bottom of it all. Well, you have to get through the interview. Basically, it is in a big studio with some of the Fire Nation people, and they will be able to hack you. It is basically as though you are being put on display. And well, I believe that the most important thing that you can do is know how to dress the part. They Will be looking at that". She said to her
She heard a scuff, and they turned to find Bella looking her over. "You don't need to dress the part. You just have to know the right answers to the questions. He left it there because they knew that it was a trick. Those questions only have one answer, but they will give you the impression that you can answer them however you wish. It doesn't matter what you wear if you can't answer properly." She said to her
