Chapter 40 The Plan Backfires
Chapter 40 The Plan Backfires
Hazel's POV
My eyes nearly popped out of their sockets when I heard him say that.
I froze for a second, wondering if I had heard him right or not.
"I might have misheard that, right?" I asked Venus.
"I don't believe so." Venus responded, sounding a bit worried and scared.
"I don't think I said it clearly enough, but I need to go now." I repeated to the rogue, this time when my tone more assertive.
The rogue, with no hesitation grabbed my hand and wrapped his dirty hands around my wrist.
He then proceeded to say, "And I don't think that you heard me clearly when I said that you aren't going anywhere.
In fact, the only place that you're going is the back of this diner and I'll show you what happens to someone that makes me repeat myself."
His tone was menacing and he meant every single word that came out of his mouth.
My heart started racing when I realized the situation that I was in.
It was a risk talking to a rogue, and that's exactly why I was told as a woman, to specifically stay away from them.
My mother's words haunted me from when I was younger,
"Rogues are unpredictable and feral. And worst of all, they are sexually deprived. Never cross paths with one since they don't know what no means."
I should have listened to her.
Heck, I should have passed my plan through her. I know she would have immediately said no, but perhaps she could have helped me come up with a better plan.
And I was now regretting the decision of stepping foot outside the pack because out there, there were no rules.
The rogue could even kill me and there would be no one to hold him accountable.
However, even I knew that he didn't want to kill me. He wanted to do something worse.
"Let go of my hand!" I ordered him, trying to keep my voice down so that I don't attract any unwanted attention.
This only made him squeeze my hand even more, making me think that he wanted to break it.
"It's cute seeing how you really think that I will listen to your puny orders." He gloated with a sadistic grin on his face.
'No matter what, don't let him take you anywhere.' I said to myself, knowing that the moment I leave the diner that had around ten customers, I would be done for.
"Do you know who I am?" I asked him, knowing that a threat would work on him.
"I'm the mate of Alpha Jordan of the Mooncrest Pack! So let me go, and perhaps I might consider asking him to show you mercy for even putting your hands on me."
It was a total bluff, but that didn't stop me from putting on a poker face and getting into character.
The rogue laughed so loud that even some of the customers looked in out direction.
"You're her?" He asked me as he looked at me critically.
"Aren't you the same bitch that he rejected?" He asked, dropping the bombshell and calling my bluff.
"I know, word gets around. And like hell the Alpha's mate would be out of her own pack, talking to a rogue like me." He added
'Fuck! Fuck! Fuck! He knows! I can't scare him off with Jordan's name.
I need to find another way to get out of here!' I screamed internally as I realized just how bad I had fucked up.
Amanda had told me to call or text her if anything went wrong, but I doubted that the rogue would just chill and let me call for back up.
The more the seconds passed, the more agitated he was becoming and turning into a whole different person.
"I'm not going anywhere with you!" I said to the rogue, vowing that if he wanted me behind that diner, he would have to drag my dead body there.
His eyes darkened with anger and he continued to change his attitude as he got more irritated and it was all visible on his face.
"Now, don't make me ruin your pretty little face. It's not like I won't do it. I will." He warned me.
I was trying so much not to show my fear, as I could already feel my other hand start trembling in fear.
"We can't let this man have us Hazel. He can't be our first." Venus said to me in genuine horror.
The reality was just hitting me, that the person that was going to break my virginity was going to be a rogue.
My entire body shuddered at the thought, knowing full well that there was no way that I could be able to live past that if it was going to happen.
"You'll have to kill me." I spat at him.
Instead of even becoming angrier, he smiled with satisfaction, making me wonder what that sadistic monster was thinking.
"I can't believe my luck. I'll fuck Alpha Jordan's mate and I'll have her just the way I like my women to be, resisting."
As the words left his mouth, I knew that it was either I kill him or he kills me.
Because there was no way I was going to watch him rape me and let him go.
And with the look that he had in his eyes, I knew for sure that he was going to make sure that it happens.
He the proceeded to add one bit of information that technically sealed my fate.
"And you've just come to me when I'm in heat."
A wolf in heat is the equivalent of swallowing ten Viagras.
I knew right there and then, that there was no stopping that rogue.
I had thought that if I stayed inside the diner I would be safe, but I was wrong.
Since he was on heat, he wasn't going to care if I was going to follow him to the back of the diner or not.
"If you won't go there with me, then I'll do it right here with you." He thundered as he got to his feet and ripped his shirt open.
It's exactly what you're thinking.
He didn't care if we were inside the diner with people watching. He was going to do it right in front of everyone.
My body went cold from shock as I watched this monster approach me.
You might wonder why no one was going to step in as they watched me cowering in fear with the rogue's intentions very clear to everyone.
Well, what's the most that they could do?
They were humans, and he was a rogue wolf.
If anyone was going to step up to him, they were going to be killed in a heartbeat.
I couldn't believe it. My plan had been a complete disaster, and I was facing a feral rogue in heat that was going to rape me in front of everyone to watch.
'It was stupid to think that Jordan had someone watching me. He should have appeared by now.' I said to myself, trying to pick up anything that I could use as a weapon.
Like I told the rogue, if he wanted me, he was going to have to kill me.
My hands touched a glass of water that was on the table and I didn't think twice before I grabbed it and slammed it on the side of the rogue's ear, shattering it on impact and sending him stumbling back.
That was the best chance that I had gotten, and I wasn't going to waste it.
I quickly jumped over the table, running on pure adrenaline as I scrambled my way to the door with the customers screaming as they rushed to get out of my way.
However, just like it happens in horror movies, I slipped just as I was almost at the door.
Everything moved in slow motion as I watched myself crashing to the ground in a failed attempt at an escape.
As I hit the floor, I heard some of the customers gasping as others screamed.
I then heard a deep gutteral growl that came from where the rogue was, and I immediately knew that I had messed up big time.
I might have just angered him enough to kill me when I tried to make an escape as his eyes pierced through the distance that was between us and he locked on to me.
When he took his first step, I knew that he was about to make a run for me and I didn't have enough time to get up and run out of the diner.
My heart was ready to accept my fate, but my body and soul weren't.
My plan was to find someone to hang out with, knowing that if Jordan was watching me, he was going to become jealous.
However, that plan was about to become my undoing.
Or was it?
