Chapter 152: 152. All or Nothing

ALLISON.

“Hm. The ritual must have opened your pathway to access your dragonblood power. That's why you randomly activated your powers. But since it was only over a few hours since your powers have awakened, it makes sense that you’re still having a hard time harnessing it,” he said.

“That make sense.” I nodded.

“Right. Even werewolves who acquire their wolves at eighteen still have a hard time controlling their lycan powers,” Wesley seconded.

“Just don’t overexert yourself, Allison, We need you and Amaris to be safe,” Liam said.

Wesley clapped his hands together.

“Alright, let’s go over the plan again. The goal is to push through the enemy forces and make our way to New York. That’s where my pack, Lockheart, is stationed. Our reinforcements should be waiting for us there.”

“It won’t be easy, will it?” I said, feeling a bit anxious.

“Nope. But we have to make it through somehow,” Wesley admitted.

I glanced at the gathered forces and furrowed my brows.

“How did we even manage to assemble this many fighters, anyway?”

Daniel shifted Amaris in his arms and smiles at me.

“This is the combined force of six packs—the Flower Moon Pack, Lockheart Pack, Crimson Fangs Pack, Moonlight Bane Pack, Aurora Pack, and Moonstone Pack,” he informed me.

I stared in awe at the sheer number of warriors spread out before us. I had never witnessed a unified front like this before. Packs typically guarded their own territories, their own borders. But now, they stood together, shoulder to shoulder, ready to face whatever came next.

“Wow you really, uh… went all out,” I muttered in pure amazement.

Daniel’s amber eyes darkened.

“They’re trying to take everything from us by going after you and Amaris. So, of course, we’ll give it our all to make sure that won’t happen,” he said firmly.

A funny feeling fluttered in my stomach, like small butterflies dancing, throwing a party inside me. For years, ever since I thought I had lost my family, I had longed for a mate, a partner chosen by the Moon Goddess to be my forever.

But who would have known that being mateless all this time had led me to this?

To them.

Five gorgeous, fearless, and powerful Alphas who had never failed to make me feel wanted. Cherished. Loved.

Joy surged through me as I smiled at them, my heart swelling.

“You know what? When I was a kid, I used to wish for a lot of things before blowing out my birthday candles. But when I got older, I stopped. I thought it was silly because wishes didn’t come true.” I reached out, brushing my fingers over River’s sharp jawline, Mason’s cheek, Liam’s stubbled chin, Wesley’s dimpled grin, and Daniel’s soft platinum locks.

“But now, I realize that wishes do come true. Because I’m looking at them right now.”

Mason muttered a curse under his breath before his hands shot out, grabbing my face roughly. His silver eyes darkened, gleaming with undiluted passion.

“Fuck,” he whispered hoarsely. And then his lips crashed onto mine.

The world faded as he kissed me hungrily, desperately. His hands tangled in my hair, pulling me closer, his body pressing firmly against mine. A growl rumbled from his chest as he deepened the kiss. His tongue sweeped inside my mouth, claiming me. I was dizzy with pleasure.

I was breathless when he pulled away, but I had no time to recover.

River was next. His fingers found my chin, tilting my head up as he lowered his lips to mine. His kiss was just as demanding. It was hot, deep, and consuming. His hands slid down my waist, gripping me possessively. His desperate touch sent echoes of shivers through my body.

And then, before I could even process it, Wesley swooped in, stealing my breath with his kiss. He groaned into my mouth, his lips moving against mine with a slow, teasing hunger. His fingers dug into my hips, pressing me flush against him.

My heart pounded wildly. My entire body tingled.

Liam stepped forward next, his hand cupping my cheek as he leaned in. Unlike the others, his kiss was slow, sweet, yet just as intense. He took his time, savoring the moment, his lips brushing over mine before he deepened it, leaving me wanting for more.

And then, finally, Daniel. His amber eyes burned as he gazed at me hungrily. He didn’t hesitate. He simply dipped his head and captured my lips in a scorching, possessive kiss. His tongue teased mine as his grip tightened around my waist. He pulled me closer, kissing me like he was staking his claim.

I was trembling when he pulled away. My lips were swollen, my breath ragged. They had never kissed me like this—all at once. Not since the Howling Night, at least. They didn’t even look the least bit ashamed of doing it. There was a hunger in their eyes as they hovered around me, their bodies close, their breaths mingling with mine.

And what was crazier? They had done it in front of everyone.

I caught the scandalized looks from some of my packmates. Some whispered among themselves, clearly gossiping about me, their faces filled with shock like they weren’t sure how to react with what they saw.

But strangely… I didn’t feel ashamed. Before, I probably would have run away and hide in sheer humiliation but now? Well, fuck them. I enjoyed every bit of the kiss and I refused to feel ashamed of it.

I licked my lips, tasting each of them on my tongue, and smiled at my Alphas, mirroring the hunger in their eyes. The whispers from my packmates grew louder but I ignored them.

Then, Quinn stepped forward, as if finally fed up by their reaction. She placed her hands on her hips as her sharp gaze swept over the murmuring crowd, specially to the Flower Moon Pack.

“If anyone has a problem with Allison and her relationship, you can take it up with me,” she announced in a loud voice. “Otherwise, shut your damn mouths.”

Silence fell over the pack. Wow, I’ve never seen her like this before. I was in awe.

“I know some of you are still hesitant about all of this. But let me remind you of something—Allison has always been loyal to this pack. She and her family have sacrificed everything for the Flower Moon Pack. And it’s time we return that loyalty by ensuring that no one ever takes advantage of her again,” Quinn declared.

She let her words sink in before adding, “We are not just fighting for Allison. We are fighting for the dignity of this pack. We are fighting for every single one of us who refuses to be trampled by those who think they can disrespect us. So if any of you have doubts, leave now. But if you stand with us, then stand proudly, because we are about to show the world exactly what it means to be part of the Flower Moon Pack.”

A ripple of murmurs passed through the crowd, this time, not of gossip but of agreement. I felt my chest tighten, my eyes stinging with emotion. Quinn looked at me and smiled. I mouthed a ‘thanks’ at her to which she replied with a wink.

The next few hours after that went smoothly. At least before River glanced at his watch to check the time.

He looked at me and said, “An hour and a half hours before the barrier breaks.”

I didn’t even realize how quick the hours had passed by. It was finally the hour of blood.
