Elvira entered the room and immediately heard gasping coming from the bathroom. With a sceptical expression on her face, she approached the restroom to investigate the source of the sound.

To her surprise, the gasping stopped abruptly.

The door swung open, revealing Lev in a bathrobe.

"Elvira, why aren't you having breakfast?" Lev enquired.

Is there someone in there?

"Elvira?" Lev's tone grew louder as he noticed her peering suspiciously into the slightly open door of the restroom.

She shifted her gaze to Lev and shook her head. "No!"

"Just wait for me, I'll join you," Lev reassured her.

Nodding, she left the room.

Soon after, Sasha emerged, shooting a disapproving look at the closed room door, where Elvira had disappeared earlier.

Elvira was watching Lev leave the house. After him, she sneaked outside before she got by anyone.

Unluckily, Sasha spotted Elvira rushing out secretly.

Instead of resisting, Elvira showed up in the children's park and messaged Leonid about her arrival.

Not much time passed, and just before Elvira felt her leg numb because of standing in the same spot for long, a warm hand caressed her fingers, leaving a letter.

She gave a checking stare around only to find children and parents. So she unfurled the letter and read, "Go and check the sandbox in front of you."

She shifted her glance at the sandbox, where two children were chatting. As curiosity triggered, she went over there and found a blue colour box.

Then she opened it; there was a coloured paper on it saying, "September 15, 20**, afternoon, Elvira cooked for me for the first time after our marriage. But I purposely declined her offer and hurt her feelings deliberately."

First, she was moderately conflicted, "What's this trap for?"

Then another letter was escorted to the flower shop.

The owner surprised her with a huge bouquet with a message on it, "November 20, 20**, Elvira prepared a handcraft shirt for my birthday. I poured oil on it to irritate her. However, I will treasure whatever my love will present me from now on."

The frowny face of her seemed to appreciate his promise. Then the flower shop owner revealed the way to another message box.

It was in the lonely plant. To her surprise, that was the phone she had missed after losing her parents. Her breath struck when she realised that it was her phone.

"How?" She mumbled surprisingly.

The phone puzzled with an email. It was from Leonid to her Laveleaf email, "I won't lose my Laveleaf to anyone. It was all my fault for trusting others blindly."

Slowly, as the gentle breeze blew her face, a drop of tears secreted in her eyes caused her vision to blur slightly. Snivelling, she veered around only to find Leonid on his knee in front of her, stretching their engagement ring, which exactly looked like her future ring.

Honestly, she couldn't tolerate the emotions in front of him. She burst into tears, glazing at guilty-looking Leonid.

Scattering lovely lustre at her, Leonid's admirable voice promised her, "I'm ready to sacrifice my life for you, Elvira."

She wiped her tears and snivelled, holding the bouquet.

Maybe it would be her worst time. She was startled right away, seeing a stranger's foot kick Leonid's cheek solidly. At the gape of her glimpsing that unfamiliar stranger, a sharp knife aimed and came fiercely towards her hip.

Promptly, Leonid's hand gripped it tightly and kept tightening the grip, perceiving the vicious intention of that man.

Within a second, a punch of men surrounded her that resembled Leonid about how he protected a 17-year-old girl before this by teleporting back to the past.

Glimpsing blood dripping from his grip, Anxious rented her face, and she held her breath, "Leonid!"

The scene of blood gushing out from Leonid flickered in front of her eyes. But Leonid looked young in that scene, unlike now. It was the moment she remembered Leonid saved her life in her seventies.

The longer Elvira watched Leonid's blood leaving his body, the worse her pressure went. She felt her head spinning, her vision getting faded.

"No, no, no, not again!"

Leonid panicked, twisted that man's arm, knocked him down in the blink of an eye, and extended his wounded hand to protect her from falling.

Unfortunately, Elvira fainted and fell near Leonid's leg.

While Leonid kept tapping her cheek to keep her conscious, knowing this was also Lev's guile. A shadow of a man fell over her body. Since Leonid was anxious and stressed to save her from fainting fully, he failed to notice that shadow.

"She will keep teleported back and forth if her choice will be you," a cold-hearted voice warned them.

Leonid dodged it as if that were nothing. All he wanted was for Elvira to remember that he truly loved her and he was not the ruthless Leonid she knew as her husband.

"Elvira, please! Please! Don't faint... Please!" He pleased flutteringly and was about to shed tears.
