Chapter 56: 56
Her whole face was stained with his blood, and she went unconscious moderately.
That man grasped Leonid's hair and pulled it up, revealing his flurried face, shedding tears for Elvira.
Leonid eyes scowled at that man, Lev.
"Now I want to kill you badly," Lev deranged.
Leonid remained silent instead of picking a fight.
"I let you live this time with a demand," Lev proposed indenture.
There were only Lev's guards in the entire children's park. Lev waved his hand and signed to empty the park. Obeying him, every guard left the park. Now, Lev, Leonid, and unconscious Elvira were the only people in the park.
Lev released his hair and demanded, "Be a good brother!"
Leonid gritted his teeth, stressed.
"I hope you will understand what I just mentioned right now," Lev assured. "Whatever, you aren't going to remember anything." Lev laughed, giving a scornful glance at failed Leonid. However, Leonid left a leaden, mysterious smirk before fainting and falling on the floor in proximity to Elvira.
When he had slight consciousness before going blind fully, he perceived a twitchy movement from Elvira's hand, which was under his embrace.
"What? What was that?" Lev looked at him in conflict.
Elvira Bang opened her eyes only to find herself in the wedding dress in front of the mirror. Before she made a move, the door opened, revealing Grandfather.
"Let's go," he extended his hand to escort her.
Baffled, Elvira couldn't ask anything of the grandfather. Instead, she decided to follow him, hoping for the best.
Soon after glimpsing the groom was Lev, her feet stumbled at the aisle, and she gripped her grandfather's hand for balance.
"Are you okay?" Grandfather concerned.
But she looked terrified witnessing Lev's mouth asking the same question as grandfather. With an uneasy look on her face, her eyes browsed all over the crowd. It halted whoever face seemed familiar to her. Yet, it didn't appear to calm down.
Even after she reached the groom, her eyes were still wandering at the crowd.
"Are you okay?" Asked Lev.
She shifted her worried glaze to the evil eye at Lev.
"Elvira!"
That was Leonid's voice. She reacted at light speed with excited eyes.
He was coming towards them, walking on the aisle.
Noticing him wearing the same outfit as the groom, everyone began to gossip. Elvira's brain struck to work, and Lev twisted his jaw in annoyance.
Bowing to the marriage officiant, Leonid made the announcement, "The bride is having my child."
"Huh?" This is what was the crowd reacted right away and began to gossip with each other.
Their entire family gave a shocked look while Lev looked sullen.
To their surprise, Elvira offered a solid slap on Leonid, breathed fire, and scowled, "I wish you would have remembered this slap!"
While Lev gave a conflicted glance at Elvira, Elvira turned to him and firmly declared, "I call off this marriage! I have never thought you would be evil."
She stepped down the stage and walked off the aisle, leaving everyone hanging in perplexity.
Leonid twisted his jaw and groaned in pain, eyeing her, leaving the spot in a wedding gown.
Frustrated, Lev rushed towards his car.
"Brother! Isn't that what you are going to take?" Leonid's mocking voice stopped him, and his eyes soaked with puzzlement.
Because that was the photo frame Lev used to make Elvira teleport back and forth for his advantage.
His heart skipped the beat seeing Leonid breaking that into pieces.
"Leonid!" Lev screamed in hassle. That left everyone with bewilderment except Sasha, who showed empathy at Lev.
[2 hours before the wedding]
Leonid strangled Sasha's neck. "I trust that you only need your grandfather's property. I will give it to you if you share what he was using to get Elvira."
As her legs swung in the air, she was short of breath and tried to escape from his grip. But he tightened it further, making her heart worsen.
She then tapped his shoulder and agreed to his deal. Only then did he release her.
After coughing and panting to get back her breath, she revealed, "That was a photo frame and needles. He used those needles to draw the line on it and make a wish."
[To the current]
Leonid exposed those needles and threw them in the water. That vanished into sand within a second, causing Lev to fall on his knee as his outrage peaked his head, not knowing what to do now to get Elvira back.
Keeping a winning aura, Leonid came towards Lev. "Let's win her heart honestly, my brother." He sarcastically disclosed.
Lev's evil eye looked directly into his and warned him viciously, "You wouldn't have behaved like this if I showed what worst I can go for Elvira."
Leonid smirked. "Let's see!" With a serious look, he challenged.
"What is happening here?" Elena asked, baffled.
"We don't know either," Laura replied carefreely.
"What about the property?" Laura's husband whispered in her ear.
"Aish! Do you expect me to go and ask him ?" Laura shouted at him. He quickly zipped his mouth, realising the deadliest stare of Lev didn't even get tired even after Leonid left.
"We should kill Elvira! Only then we can have the property." Sasha dictated them.
"Elvira? But grandfather is doing to give it to Lev."
"That's what Lev said. But that wasn't true. Mr. Fyodor had already changed everything under Elvira. She just needs to sign only." Sasha enunciated the secret once after confirming grandfather leaving the wedding ceremony disappointedly.
"How do you know all about this?" Laura queried.
"I saw Leonid singing the papers that said his part of the property from Mr. Fyodor will be Elvira's." Sasha declared.
"What?" Everyone shocked.
"He has property from grandfather?" Elena couldn't believe her.
"Yeah, maybe Mr. Fyodor behaves rudely to him. But he knew whom to trust. That's why he had given his half property to Leonid when his father died."
To them, everything she mentioned seemed too new. Cause all they knew was that grandfather loved Lev, and he was even going to write his total property under him.
"Then why did you hide this from us? Your son was the half-owner of all of this property." Laura queried. Everyone flashed anger.
Sasha chuckled at them mockingly, saying, "Do you guys expect me to trust you? I'm not stupid to reveal something that would bring danger to my son."
She proudly left the chat, leaving them stunned with her twist.
A betrayal swirled out as a chuckle from Laura, "What did she just say? Did she also act all this while?"
