After washing her hands, she headed to her room. Unfortunately, she got dragged to the blind area under the staircase.
"What are you doing, Mr. Ha?" Elvira scattered a baffled look at Mr. Ha, who was giving a checking stare outside before talking.
That maid, Mr. Ma looked at Elvira with raging eyes, "Do you believe them, Madam?"
Still, Elvira reflected a bewildered look.
That maid stretched a letter to her, saying, "Read this if you want to know where our young master is." She left as soon as that letter landed on Elvira's hand.
Confused, Elvira glazed at the folded letter cautiously.
She rushed to her room, shut the door, and leaning on it, she began to read it.
That says, "43, northwest."
"Huh?" she gave the disappointed energy looking at the short keyword.
Someone knocked on the door; she was startled, crumbled that paper, and threw it under the table.
It was Lev; he came inside, asking, "What are you doing?"
She fluttered unknowingly, "Uhm..."
"Take rest for today; we can check on the wedding dress tomorrow," Lev informed.
She nodded quickly, which sowed suspicion in his heart.
He stepped forward, causing her heartbeat to thudd. Once he reached her proximity, he caressed her fingers, worsening her beating heart.
Contemplating into her wavering eyes, he confessed, "I can be a good husband, Elvira."
Hearing him, she blinked emotionally and breathed out her fear into calmness.
He held her hand fondly and brought it near his lips to offer a tiny smooch.
She couldn't help but stand still.
He then freed her hand and walked out of the room, saying, "Rest well."
She veered towards her bed, which resembled her first night on the wedding anniversary. As she regathered the memory of Leonid's cruel attitude that night, a drop of tears slipped down her eye. Furthermore, she bit her teeth fiercely when Leonid's dictation crossed her mind: "Aish! You're so slow! You can't even replace the sluts. just a headache!"
Suddenly, Lev's kind words embraced her memory: "I can be a good husband, Elvira."
Adult Elvira already knew about Lev's long-term, one-sided love for her. She sighed out the anxiety before reaching the bed.
The next day, Lev and Elvira left the house while Elena, useful, and his aunt, Laura, were watching them from the balcony.
"Why are you supporting him instead of getting rid of her?" Lev's aunt, Laura, asked.
Sasha gave a mysterious smirk before declaring, "Just wait and see."
"My brother is going crazy for Elvira. What if he wrote everything in her name and cheated on us?" Elena looked concerned.
"I have an idea. Let them get married first, as per his wish. after that..." Sasha paused without revealing her secret idea.
"After that?" Laura questioned.
"Let him be himself for a while. I have some work to do." She walked off them, leaving their curiosity unanswered.
On the way to the textile, Elvira gave a cautious glaze at Lev, who looked serious. "Why do you seem tensed?" she asked.
"Me?" He questioned back and convinced quickly, "Nothing."
"Are you sure?" Asked Elvira.
"yes." He nodded.
However, she found his serious face concealed some secrets.
They reached the shopping mall. He even opened the car door for her. She anticipated a soft, proud smile because her ex-husband, Leonid, had never been this respectful towards her. Even not once. Lev's compassion made her feel safe.
She got out of the car and followed him into the store.
Lev stared at the text message 'Let's meet tonight' from Sasha while Elvira was busy choosing the wedding dress.
He threw the phone on the seat next to him with disgust, but as soon as he caught a glimpse of Elvira, his eyes desired to admire her charm.
"Let me try this," Elvira said and went to the changing room once Lev nodded with a smile.
She stepped into the room and pulled on the screen without noticing someone coming from behind. Just when she turned aside with the dress, Scare rented her face and caused her to take two steps backward as she witnessed a male figure.
"Leonid?" Air only came out.
His thoughtful hand grabbed her waist and dragged her onto him.
She was frozen and immersed in his adorable handsomeness, forgetting everything, while Leonid seemed a bit confused with Elvira's different aura that her face distinguished.
"Aish!" Leonid breathed disappointedly, acknowledging that matured Elvira. "He played dirty!" He mumbled, visibly anxious, knowing that mature Elvira had already given up on him.
Elvira's eyebrows wrinkled with fierceness. She made herself distance from him once his grab went loose in disgruntlement.
"No. I should drop my feelings since fate gives me a second chance." She thought to herself and fierced directly at Leonid, "Behave yourself, Leonid! I'm your sister-in-law."
"I expected it!" A sarcastic sigh escaped his lips.
Elvira was slightly bewildered.
Leonid clutched her two wrists and pinned them on the wall, causing her shock again. Elvira perceived that was the same devil energy as her ex-husband, Leonid. Despite that, she decided to be courageous since her future husband is going to be Lev.
"You are mine," he roared softly in her ear, earning her a surprised stare right away.
"What?" Her breath paused
"Just because they are kind to you doesn't mean they are in real." He cautiously advised her, glazing into her eyes before informing her, "Let's meet tonight."
He left, and she was stunned to hear him profoundly say, "You are mine."
