Chapter 53: 53

"Choi?"

Kwan was calling her from outside.

She shook her head and responded to him, "Yeah, coming!"

Then Kwan went back to his seat. After the wedding dress trial, they came back home. There Iseul welcomed them, "How was your trial?"

Kwan walked past her, avoiding her. Baffled, Choi precipitated a fake brief smile at disappointed Iseul and responded on behalf of Kwan, "Yes. It was nice."

She then headed towards her room.

Iseul frowned at Kwan going inside the room. Because he didn't even make eye contact with her. Once glimpsing Choi went inside her room, Iseul made her way to Kwan's room.

She opened the door and shut it loud enough to get attention from Kwan, who was lying in the bed with the same outfit.

"Did you just ignore me earlier?" She angrily asked, going towards him.

He twirled around and continued to sleep.

Tensed Iseul turned him by the arms and seethed, "What are you doing?"

Kwan bit his teeth, dodged her hand, and flashed wrath without regretting, "You should mind your behaviour towards me!"

Iseul dragged the instant frown, "What?"

"Get out!" Kwan firmly said.

A sarcastic chuckle escaped her lips, and she dictated, "Are you kicking me out? Remember, I'm the reason for your successful marriage preparations."

Kwan sat up, slightly inclined, his head giving a disgusted look, and declared, "I can kill you; don't you know about it?"

Her face raged in reddishness. She grabbed his collar and dragged him closer to her angrily breathing face and resonated, "I can stop this marriage."

Kwan looked away, releasing an angry sigh. He strangled her neck in the blink of an eye when Iseul almost observed the regretted expression on Kwan.

Her eyes went up in a minute as much as he tightened the grip.

"Behave yourself! Otherwise, I have no choice but to kill you." He strictly enunciated his intention as she slapped his hand to make him release her.

Perceiving Kwan going psycho for Choi, Iseul gave up and nodded, begging him to leave her.

Only then did he do it.

She ended up getting a cough with a dry throat and tears dripping from her eyes.

"Get lost!" He sounded mad.

Iseul left the room once after giving a fierce stare at him.

Thereafter, Kwan lay on their back, closing his eyes.

In Choi's room, Choi was disturbed by Woo-Sunk's words.

Time passed, and the dark approached the sky.

Choi skipped the dinner since Kwan was absent from the dining table. She saw Yejin was on her way to the bedroom.

"Where is Kwan?" She asked Yejin.

"I don't know," Yejin carefreely said and headed to her room.

"I know where he is," Laura, Kwan's aunt, got her attention.

"Where?" Choi asked with an innocent look.

"He must be in his private house, which is located three miles away from here," Laura stated.

"But why is he there at this hour?" Choi was confused.

"He uses that house only if he feels anxious."

"Anxious? About what?" Baffled and slightly stressed Choi mumbled.

"Asking me? Go and comfort him as a future wife." Laura teased playfully and walked off, leaving her standby confliction.

Iseul, who was standing behind the wall all the while now, shook Laura's hand and complimented, "Good job!"

Dropping a mystery-raged chuckle, Iseul left, and Laura followed her.

Upon hearing the reason behind his absence, she fell into anxiety and rushed outside to take a car. She headed to the spot that Laura mentioned.

She arrived at the little mansion, where the wind blew strongly and the scent of flowers from the plant redolanced the whole yard. She got out of the car and went straight to the entrance without even regretting it.

She rang the bell and waited patiently.

Unexpectedly, Woo-sunk opened the door. Both looked stunning.

"What are you doing here?" Asked Choi.

"Who did you expect from here?" Asked Woo-sunk.

"Kwan. They said Kwan is here."

"Who?" Woo-sunk looked baffled.

"His aunt," Choi explained patiently.

"Did she?" With a surprised look, Woo-sunk queried.

"Since Kwan isn't here, let me excuse myself then. Sorry for bothering you." Choi was polite but looked serious. She then veered around to leave.

Before she fully turned around, Woo-sunk grabbed her wrist, dragged her inside the house, and shut the door before even she realised that she had been pulled in.

"What the hell are you trying to do?" Choi seethed. Her face frankly spoke of hatred for Woo-sunk.

Despite that, Woo-sunk acted cool, declaring, "Since you are here, stay a bit long with me."

"Are you crazy?" Choi frowned.

"I know you are from the future," divulged Woo-sunk.

Choi, shocked and, at the same time, bewildered, "H-how you know?"

Observing her hanging between whether to trust him or leave the house, Woo-sunk took one step forward toward her.

"I'm sorry for treating you that badly, Choi. But I swear I won't be like that anymore. Please trust me." He pleaded.

"What are you talking about?" Choi deliberately behaved like she didn't trust him.

"You are destined with me, not with Kwan. If you keep choosing Kwan, I will interrupt between you." Woo-sunk suddenly voiced a strict that threatened Choi.

"Whatever! I can't trust you again. It is better to be with him instead of the man who always prefers to be ruthless towards me." Choi declared solidly with a rage look in her eyes.

A disgruntled sigh escaped his lips before he clutched her hand and stopped her from unlocking the door.

"Let me go!" Choi resonated as Woo-sunk breathed calmly to get his behaviour together.

"You are choosing the wrong path, Choi." He gently reminded her.

"At least he treats me nice," Choi firmly enunciated.

"Can't you see how crazy I'm going for you?" Woo-sunk asked in desperation.

"You are hurting me right now, Woo-sunk!" She dictated, eyeing his tight grip on her wrist.

Perceiving that, Woo-sunk released her hand and requested, looking at the floor, "Just stay with me tonight."

She turned to him, fully giving a sarcastic glare directly at his pitiful eyes. "I don't want to make the same mistake again!"

Woo-sunk stood calm despite what pierced his heart into two. In guilt, his misery-looking eyes met hers, and he assured her, "Me too!"

Choi flashed a sceptical glance.

"I can't lose you to him again!" He proclaimed with promising eyes.

"Again? Stop confusing me!" She voiced anger and turned around to leave the house.

Woo-sunk hugged her from behind and cuffed her hands tightly as she shouted, "Get off me!"

As his breath braced her ear, she felt disgusted.

"You are mine, Choi." He whispered firmly in her ear, causing her to freeze in conflict.

Noticing her calm body, he went soft from crazy, twirled her to his side by the arms, and lifted her chin, causing her frown to be exposed.

"I thought you accepted my hug," said Woo-sunk.

"Why? Why are you behaving like this out of the blue?" With teary eyes, she queried.

"Because I want you," Woo-sunk elucidated.

"Sorry, I have no feelings for you now." She assured half-heartedly. Woo-sunk wasn't blind for that.

"Then let me do it for you," he profounded, smearing his fingers on her shirt button.
