A FAKE PROMISE.

"Who's that?" He asked as I stepped inside his chamber after telling the guards not to announce my present.

"You.. I'm.. fuck.. this is weird" he muttered looking remorseful as he stared at everywhere except my face looking so innocent and cute in his white night royalty long robe.

"It's fine, you don't have to feel weird. I came to talk to you about what happened today" I muttered as I sat down on one of the chairs in the receiving room in his chamber.

"Are you not scared that I might hurt you again or even kill you right now? I mean..." He trailed off scratching his neck.

" I won't be here if I'm scared of that" I paused as I stareda t him sit down on the chair beside him and I held his hands in mine, " you had a chance to kill me earlier but you didn't. That shows me how big your heart is, why can't you just find a space in that heart to forgive your brother and yourself, everyone knows the beginning of a war but everyone won't know the end. Elvin..." I trailed off when he interrupted me.

"I can never forgive him, do you know the horrible things he did to me, he caused me countless sleepless night! He even took away the woman I love so much in my entire life! Don't I deserve to be happy even if it's just once" he thundered looking angry snd I gulped down nervously staring at him with teary eyes.

"I'm sorry if I scared you with the way I shouted" he said as he pulled me in to a side hug rubbing my back trying to soothe me while I just stayed still in his arms.

"All these dispute and attempt to kill your brother is because of a woman! A woman tht you might have never meant any thing to!" I snapped as I pulled away from him with different emotions surging through my veins, anger! Disbelief!

"Stop calling her a woman! She was my first love! My first everything! My world! And she loved me so much but Melvin had the gut to take her away from me to a place of no return! To a place where I can never see her again! She told me that she'll never leave even at my worst! She trusted me and treated me like a gem! She meant everything to me" he cried in my arms and I patted his back gently, tears rolled out of my eyes as I wondered the reason Melvin separated him and her, I couldn't help but feel curious about where he took her to.

"I'm sure that you hate me so much now and I know that my apology won't fix a thing but don't ever forget that I'm sorry for my actions, I'll never have tried to hurt you in my right frame of mind. I'm deeply sorry for my stupid and senseless action, I'll never try to hurt you again" he muttered as he cried in my arms and my heart squeezed in pain for him and I wish and prayed to the moon goddess that I'll be able to find a way to settle the bad energy between this two brothers.

"Say something, I hate the way you're silent, it's making me feel so bad and I just want to kill myself for making you angry at me. Please, forgive me and say something"

" I'm not angry at you, I just have a request to ask from you and I'll be the happiest person in this world if you fulfill it for me" I said patting his back gently.

" I'll do anything you want. Anything, just mention it"

" Are you sure?" I asked staring at his face as he raised his head up and sat up right.

"Of course, I'll do anything you want" he assured me with a smile.

" Can you forgive your brother?" I asked staring at him and I gulped down when I noticed that his expression changed to a serious one already.

"Can you d that for me, please" I begged staring at him with a cute pout.

"Is that what you want? You can pick anything, I want an anything that you have ever wished for and I fulfill it, is this what you want to use this opportunity for?" He asked with a disbelief gaze.

" Thats the only thing that can truly make me happy and satisfied"

" I can't believe you this woman, you can pick anything, like any fucking thing you want, I can help you sneak out of the palace and have fun, I can spend the whole of tomorrow with you nd you alone, but you're really picking this" he muttered as he ruffled his hair.

" You told me to pick anything I want, so why are you complaining?" I grumbled.

" I'm not complaining, I'm just surprised but since that's what you want, I'll do it for you. Anything for you, my lady" he said and i screamed as I jumped on him hugging him tightly with so much excitement surging through my body.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you so much!" I chanted as I rested on his chest listening to his heart beat till I calmed down and I stared at him with a grateful stare and I pulled his cheek while he glared at me but I didn't stop it, "who's a good boy?" I asked and I suddenly cupped his cheek, saying "you're my handsome prince"

He chuckled and we talk about other stuff till I was tired and I left his room, I was happy that I have finally settled the fight amongst them but I was surprised when I heard him mutter, "I can't believe that she thinks that I'll forgive him that easily. I'll stop at nothing to destroy him if I can!"
