Chapter 168 Unlucky

Chapter 168 Unlucky

"So annoying! Terrence is really unlucky to have a woman like you." Blair was about to explode with frustration.

At this moment, her voice became hoarse as she shouted, glaring at these people through gritted teeth. "Terrence and I really have nothing to do with each other! Why won't you believe me? Look, has Terrence come to rescue me because of your ransom letter? You've got the wrong person!"

The kidnappers exchanged glances and burst out laughing, clearly not taking Blair's words seriously at all.

Blair sat powerlessly on the ground and noticed several idle kidnappers turning their attention to her. Their lewd gazes made Blair shudder with fear, and she shrank back, trying to hide herself.

But it wasn't that simple.

"I... I'm really not Terrence's woman. You've kidnapped the wrong person... Bianca, that bitch Bianca is the one!"

The words came out one after another, Blair almost grinding her teeth.

But she couldn't stop the kidnappers from slowly approaching. Blair finally couldn't hold back and hysterically pointed at Vera.

"Go after her, not me."

Bianca opened a gap in the ventilation duct and happened to see Blair pointing at Vera like this.

After thinking for a moment, she quietly took out her phone and started recording.

Five minutes later, Blair successfully threw Vera under the bus, and two kidnappers were already walking toward Vera.

Bianca glanced at her phone, confirmed that her men were all in position as she had instructed, pressed her lips together, and gave the order to attack.

At the same time, she shouted, "Stop!"

The kidnappers seemed startled by the sudden voice and instinctively looked around. Then they saw several men in suits breaking through the windows and taking them all down.

Bianca jumped down from the ventilation duct, looking seriously at these kidnappers.

"Mrs. Anderson, watch out!"

Barry roared, and Bianca turned her head just in time to see a kidnapper holding a gun pointed right at her.

In the next moment, Barry kicked his wrist, and the gun slid across the floor for a long time before slowly stopping at Bianca's feet. Bianca reached down and picked it up.

Bianca weighed it in her hand - it was actually a real gun.

"Search them, see if they have any other weapons." Sure enough, the search turned up another gun.

"Take them away," Bianca said coldly, and all the kidnappers were tied up and taken away.

Several subordinates helped Blair and Vera up separately.

"Don't bother with her." Bianca pointed at Blair.

Rescuing people was just incidental, but asking her to save Blair was absolutely impossible.

When Vera woke up, she found herself in a car. Bianca was standing outside, and a doctor was treating her wounds. Remembering Blair, who was also captured by the kidnappers, Vera said anxiously.

"Blair, Blair was in there too. Did you rescue her?"

Then Vera saw Bianca standing outside.

Thinking about how Bianca and Blair didn't get along, her heart sank. She stared at Bianca, her lips moving slightly before finally saying, "Are you refusing to save her?"

Bianca looked at Vera with amusement.

Why does this girl seem a bit stupid, no matter how you look at it?

"You want me to save her?"

Meeting Bianca's mocking eyes, Vera suddenly felt guilty, but finally said through gritted teeth, "Whatever happened between you two, that's still a human life."

Bianca laughed. "Do you know that to save herself, Blair told those kidnappers they could do whatever they wanted to you?"

"That's impossible," Vera said without thinking.

Bianca chuckled and took out her phone.

Fortunately, it wasn't time to attack yet, so she had recorded a video.

As Vera watched the video, her pupils gradually dilated, her face showing disbelief. Finally, she sat back in the seat as if she had lost all strength, slowly shaking her head, still repeating what she had just said.

"This is impossible... How could Blair!"

Bianca snorted coldly, and then saw Blair running out of the abandoned warehouse.

Seeing Bianca and Vera together, she stumbled toward them.

"Ms. Sharp, don't listen to Bianca's nonsense. Bianca has always liked to lie and slander me. I... I..."

Blair put on a wronged expression, but Bianca couldn't even be bothered to look at her.

But then...

"Blair, the fake kidnappers you were working with didn't show up. You must be very disappointed, right?"

Blair's face instantly froze, then she denied it without hesitation. "I don't know what you mean, what real kidnappers, fake kidnappers..."

Bianca tilted her head slightly, her tone dripping with contempt. "You don't understand? Wasn't it you who worked with kidnappers from the start, trying to stage a kidnapping to get attention, but then accidentally got controlled by real kidnappers?"

Blair's face went pale as she tried to deny it, but after the doctor got out of the car, Bianca had already slammed the car door shut.

Vera, sitting in the car, quietly rolled down the window.

She hasn't had her say yet...

"Blair, I'm so disappointed in you. I never thought your gentleness and kindness were all fake. You're the worst person of all."

Vera didn't dare to get angry at Bianca for now, so she directed all her anger at Blair.

Blair choked. "No! It's not like that!"

Vera sneered.

Then how is it?

This Blair really thinks she's an idiot, but she's not!

"Drive, drive." Vera urged the driver.

After Bianca got in the car, the convoy didn't wait for Blair at all and left, leaving only Blair standing there alone.

Barry, sitting in the passenger seat, kept hesitating and looking back, seeming to want to say something.

Having rescued Vera and captured all these kidnappers, Bianca naturally felt more relaxed.

Seeing that Barry seemed to want to say something, thinking Barry had something on his mind, she directly asked, "Barry, do you have something to say?"

Barry scratched his head.

"Mrs. Anderson, you seem very familiar with the terrain here and very clear about the kidnappers' situation. How... how did you know?"

Bianca instantly froze.

How did she know?

"My family used to have a factory around here. I came to visit before. There are only a few passages anyway, so I know a bit about it."

Barry didn't know whether to believe it or not, but he nodded.

Thinking about the person still lying at home, Bianca's nerves tensed up.

"Barry, now that we've rescued  Vera, I hope you can keep today's events secret! Don't let Terrence know."

Bianca said seriously.
