Chapter 141: Chapter 141

Lucian continued talking. “I want you to pair with my omega, while I get paired with yours. Do we have a deal?”

Julian looked around the hall. “Why should I do that? What's so special about the omegas that you want to exchange?”

I swallowed hard. Julian was already giving us a tough time. He made me dislike him already. I really didn't want to get paired with him.

“Well, Ethan is my friend and I'd like to train him myself and he also wants to train with me.”

Julian rolled his eyes. “Whatever. Take whoever you like.”

I smiled. That was easier than I expected. I had thought that Julian would give us a tough time, especially from the question he had asked the first time. Julian walked way to the front of the training hall as he saw Sir Sebastain walk into the hall.

Sebastian stood in front of all of us. The students gathered in front of him. He waited for the noise in the hall to die down before he spoke. The noise was eventually gone and Sebastain started speaking.

“Is there anyone whose names weren't in the list that were posted?” Sebastian's voice was loud and clear. He looked around the hall, expecting an answer. No answer came.

“Good. It means everyone has a partner. The academy is getting so close to graduating its 90th set of graduates. So many people won't make it, while some others will definitely graduate.”

There was noise among the students. Everyone knew the academy trained for a year, but people could also apply to stay for extra years if they felt they needed it. I had been here for more than six months since Theo sent me here. I couldn't believe that I would be leaving the academy soon. I hadn't asked Lucian how long he had been at the academy. But if he was here since the time my brother had been at the academy, it meant he had been here for more than six months.

“We'd be having other activities and we want to introduce some games into the academy activities. When the games are introduced, we would let you know so that you can get involved. For now, we will continue with our regular training. Everyone should split into two pairs. Those pairs should consist of the alpha and the Omega who were paired together.”

There was a bit of shuffling noise and each person tried to find their partner. The noise died down after it was almost done. I didn't move from my spot. I was standing with Lucian. We had already exchanged with Julian and it had been done.

I was wondering what Sebastian had to do. Did he really want to involve the alpha and Omega pairs in wrestling? I knew that was going to be an unfair fight. The alphas will definitely defeat the omegas.

“There should be two pairs, making it four in total. The omegas from the pairs should spar together. The alphas should stand by the side of their partners and guide them on how to move.” Sebastian looked around after he was done talking. “Does everyone understand what I said?”

“Yes sir.” The crowd chorused.

The first set began. I watched closely because I wanted to see how the alphas will guide the omegas. It sounded like something that was nearly impossible. I didn't think the omegas could learn from just oral corrections by the alphas.

The first set of omegas started fighting. It was a sorry sight. One of the omegas didn't even try hard before he pushed the other one to the floor.

Sebastian placed a hand on his forehead like he was frustrated. I couldn't blame him. If I was a tutor, I would also be frustrated that someone couldn't put in any effort and was easily knocked down.

The second group came. The fight lasted for a longer while. The alpha was giving him omega instructions on how to move and what to do. It was quite impressive compared to the last set. It took some time before one of them was pushed down.

Sir Sebastian nodded his head. It was clear that he was impressed. It continued until it was my turn. I stepped forward with Lucian and the other omega and his alpha partner stepped forward.

We began sparring.

“Hod your footwork. Grab from the right.” Lucian said as he kept giving me instructions on what to do.

I listened to them. The omega I was sparring with was a bit taller than me, but I was confident that I could push him down. The fight lasted for a while before I finally pushed him to the ground.

Lucian clapped and out of excitement, I jumped on Lucian and hugged him. I withdrew from the hug almost immediately after coming back to myself.

The sparring continued and I just watched. Most of the omegas were performing poorly and I began to doubt if they would be able to survive the academy that they wanted so badly. I hoped it didn't get to the point where the academy will have to take out the omegas because of their poor performance. Most of them didn't last on the mat. They easily pushed the other person down. The best way to know that each opponent was strong was when they lasted for a long time.

When everyone was done. Sebastian cleared his throat and spoke again.

“The alphas need to continue training the omegas. Soon, the academy will begin its screening and grading and anyone who gets an F will be sent out of the academy.”

Sebastian walked out of the hall after he said what he said. I was sure that some omegas were already worried from what he said. I hoped their alphas were going to be able to train with them and not just take advantage of them.

Lucian pulled me closer to him and winked at me. “Let's go train together, babe.”

He led me out of the hall. I didn't know where we were going, but I followed him.
