Chapter 203

"It's best to catch mermaid pups so we can attract the parents of the mermaids. We need their scales to make armor for the warriors!"

I immediately grabbed Louis' collar, "How dare you deny that you didn't leak the secret? I only told you about the mermaid scales to make clothes!"

Louis put up three fingers, "I swear, I swear to your moon goddess, I did not leak the secret..."

At this point, we heard the alpha of the Blood Moon pack talking to a man, "Are you sure it was mermaid scales they talked about?"

The one standing next to him replied, "Yes. I eavesdropped very clearly. They didn't know I was there. The woman didn't have to lie to the vampire king."

"But why hasn't a mermaid been captured until now? Are there really mermaids in this sea?"

"The woman said that a mermaid saved her after she drowned by accident. Then the mermaid gave her a set of clothes made of scales."

" I see..." the alpha of the Blood Moon pack nodded, and suddenly, he grabbed the man next to him and threw him into the sea.

"Save me! Save me! I can't swim! Alpha, save me!"

The alpha of the Blood Moon pack said, " Just wait for the mermaid to save you. Let me verify that what you said is right. If you dare to lie to me, you can go to hell."

Louis suddenly grabbed my hand and gently stroked it, "Look, I didn't give away the secret. They have overheard messages."

I instantly pulled my hand out and then gave him a light punch, "Be serious. This is still your fault. Your vampire territory is too loosely guarded. You actually let a werewolf eavesdrop on a secret and didn't know about it."

" Okay. My bad."

After a while, the werewolf who was thrown into the sea no longer struggled. He sank slowly.

The Blood Moon pack's alpha cursed, "Why haven't the damn mermaids shown up yet?"

"On my command, throw in the explosives we prepared! We must force the mermaids to show themselves today! Those vampires who have broken their word have joined forces with my enemies. We must get the armor made of mermaid scales for us to win the war!"

Seeing them throw the explosives into the sea, I told Isidore and Louis, "We'd better leave. Tell Brandon and the others what's going on over here first. See what they have planned."

Then we three left quietly.

After listening to our report, Brandon said after thinking, "The wisest option is to take advantage of the process of the fight between the merman and the Blood Moon pack. We secretly sneak into the bottom and take the treasure."

Dylan suddenly interjected, "You guys go to the bottom of the sea to find the treasure. I'll stay alone on the beach to fight with the Blood Moon pack. As the former alpha of the sea, I should protect my people. I have not been a competent alpha of the sea for the past 10,000 years. They can betray me and hate me, but I cannot abandon them and hate them."

It seems that Dylan has really reflected on his faults. He used not to care about hurting anyone except Isabella.

Now he is willing to take responsibility for his people, in addition to caring for his lover.

I appreciate him more now.

I proposed, "How about this? We split into two teams, half of you go down with me to find the treasure, and the other half helps the merman expel the Blood Moon pack warriors and be ready to drive the plane to pick us up and leave."

We soon came to an agreement.

Caleb, Austin, Brandon, and I quietly dive to the bottom of the sea.

Elroy is the strongest fighter among all of us, so he has to be engaged in the battle. Francis also has a strong attack with his flame. Louis and Isidore can fly, and they have an advantage in the battle.

Julian can use his scepter in the plane to assist in the fight. With the five of them helping Dylan, there should be a better chance of winning.

After the plan was made, we set out.

As we approached the sea, we heard a loud explosion.

I saw a flash of orange leaping out of the sea. That should be the orange-tailed merman.

After he tricked me into helping him defeat Dylan, he should now be the new alpha of this sea.

Hopefully, he would be a competent and benevolent alpha.

The ten of us moved separately.

I dive into the sea as I watch Dylan and the others run toward the area where the explosion is taking place.

The mermen and the Blood Moon pack of werewolves were already fighting, and hopefully, they wouldn't lose.

We all drank Dylan's blood, and we could breathe freely in the water.

I was wearing a dress made from Dylan's scales, and I could swim incredibly fast in the water. So I took Caleb's hand, Caleb took Brandon and Austin's hands, and we swam together in a string.

The swim to the bottom took me at least half an hour.

Luckily, no mermaids found us. Perhaps it was because the Blood Moon pack had launched an attack on the sea, and there were almost no other creatures on the bottom.

I searched for the location of the treasure with my memory. Soon I found the entrance.

"I think it is right here."

I pointed to the moss-covered rock and said, "I remember the treasure is behind the rock. And I hid the green crystal necklace and the golden feather here. And my ring..."

I turned the rock as I spoke. The hole where the treasure was buried slowly opened.

As I expected, I was greeted by golden coins and jewels.

"Oh my moon goddess, the treasure is real!" Caleb exclaimed.

"But how are we going to take these gold coins with us? It's too much! It will be hard for us to take them away unnoticed." Austin said.
