Chapter 97: 97. Who Are You, Drex?

Drex, who heard Calestyn's statement, looked in disbelief, he knew from childhood that he was a Lycan. He was even the Alpha in his pack, so if someone said that he was an elf it would be impossible.

“I'm sorry, Calestyn. But, I think you're wrong! I'm a Lycan, no one around me is an elf," Drex answered.

“You might not admit it, because you don't even know. But when I saw the golden hue in your irises I knew you were mixed!” Calestyn answered.

"My eyes?"

Lea looked at Drex's irises, which were indeed yellow but there was gold among the yellow.

“It's just a coincidence, unfortunately, I am a Lycan!” explained Drex who still didn't believe it.

"Hmm, but I have proof!"

"What's that?"

“Can't you control the wind? Can all Lycans do it? I do not think so!"

"Emm__no one can do it. But someone from my  great-grandfather's side could do it!”

“That means someone from your great-grandfather was an elf! I can confirm that!” Calestyn answered.

"Good grief! I never thought that!”

“Don't think too much about it, it's just all luck! You can infiltrate and seal the heirloom mirror in the kingdom. Stop those demons from wreaking havoc in the land of the elves!” Calestyn answered.

"Okay!"

That day Calestyn trusted Drex and Lea to bring the crystal that Calestyn put in the bracelet given to Drex.

"Take good care, I hope you can do it!" said Calestyn.

"Thank you, we will go back now,"

"Yeah, be careful,"

"Erm, sorry Calestyn, do we have to go through the same tiring road as when we came here?" Drex asked.

“Ah, I think so!”

"What?"

“Haha, I was just kidding! You can teleport from here! You don't need to bother!" Calestyn answered.

“That is very comforting news! Thank you for everything!"

“No problem, if I could leave this place I would help you. But unfortunately I can't!"

“Never mind, Calestyn! You have a much more important task, guarding all the valuable objects on this mountain," answered Lea.

“You will face Azazel, that man has terrifying strength! But that doesn't mean he can't be beaten! He relied on darkness and spirit power to support his life! Something that is the opposite of his strength is his weakness! Hopefully, you guys can handle it.”

“Thanks for all the pointers, see you next time!” Drex said goodbye.

Both out of sight, Drex and Lea moved from Silver Mountain back to the elf's forest. The elves still looked confused, they tried to combine their strengths and find reinforcements as soon as possible so they could overcome the problem they had just experienced.

Drex and Lea teleport near Rucif's house when someone starts screaming.

“Did you hear that Lea?” Drex asked.

“Hear what?”

“Moaning sound!” answered Drex, who had sharper hearing than Lea.

"No, try looking for it!" said Lea.

Drex looked for the source of the sound, he walked towards a cliff where the screams became louder and louder.

“Arkg! Help me! Someone help me!” said the voice.

Drex saw a dwarf with his head upside down and his legs hanging stuck in a tree branch at the edge of a cliff. Drex, who knew that the little man was in danger, immediately helped him.

"Don't worry, I will help you, Dwarf!"

Drex held on to a tree and then pulled the dwarf's leg.

“Argh! Hold my legs tight! Don't fall! I don't want to die silly!" he shouted very frightened.

“Don't move around! You're getting heavier!"

The dwarf began to try to calm himself, Drex lifted him slowly and Lea helped pull him towards the side of the cliff.

“Whoa!” The dwarf started crying.

“You're safe little man, why are you crying?” Drex asked in surprise.

“You saved me! Thank you, foreign man!”

"Never mind, I just happened to be passing by. Go home, go back to your community, be careful when working, don't endanger yourself!"

“Why don't you ask me for gold in return?” asked the Dwarf in surprise.

"Gold? No! I don't need that! Just keep it,"

“Thank you, what is your name, big sir?”

“I'm Drex! If you?"

“I'm Tomato!”

"Aaah, okay tomatoes, I'll go first!"

“Thank you very much, thank you! I will be in your debt, Drex!”

The little man left, while Drex and Lea walked towards Rucif's house. It can be seen that around the fairy forest, refugees are arriving. Since the palace was taken over by Azazel and the demon army, many fairies have fled to the mountains and forests.

The two of them entered Rucif's house to see Xavier's condition, who had previously been seriously injured. The noisy voices of many of Xavier's consorts surrounded the man who lay limp on the bed. Luckily the Fairy Prince's condition looked much better. It's just that Rucif and Kiora looked at Xavier with views that couldn't be described.

Not because the wound was serious, but because the playboy and his many wives started showing off their affection.

"Ah, my chest hurts so much darling!" complained Xavier.

Not only did he respond to the man's complaints, but his twelve wives began to be busy competing to serve him.

“Which side, My Deer?” asked the first empress.

"Do you want me to pet you, Honey?" asked the second empress.

"Drink some water first, Darling!" said the third empress.

"No! His Highness Xavier needs a lot of energy so he has to drink this potion first!” said the other wife.

“He has to eat a lot of meat, I prepared it a long time ago! So he has to eat first!

“Your Highness, I was so scared! I was worried that you were sick, my heart is sad now!” said one of the empresses who had been crying non-stop.

"I'm grateful you're okay! I'm relieved now!" said the other one who responded to everything casually.

The replies to Xavier's wives made Rucif, wanted to add additional medicinal ingredients, confused. Drex came over to him and patted him on the shoulder.

“I guess having twelve wives is tiring!” Drex said.

"Yes, you're right!" Rucif sounded agreeable.

“One girl is sometimes very troublesome, unreliable, and useless! Twelve is the worst!” Drex answered, sounding like he was confiding in the difficulties he had gone through because of Lea's previous stupidity.

“Why do I feel offended by what your word, Drex?” Lea approached with her arms folded.

“Ahahaha, how about we just eat, Lea! I am very hungry! Prince Xavier looks better right now!” said Drex, trying to divert attention then ran away into the kitchen.

Lea sullenly followed him.

"Why do you look even more annoying!" she grumbled.

Kiora approached, and now she was the one who invited Rucif to talk.

"Thank you for helping treat my brother!" said Kiora.

"It doesn't matter, I consider your brother is also my brother," answered Rucif, looking gently at Kiora.

“Hihi, so that's how it is, huh?” Kiora looked blushing.

"Yes, but can I ask for help?"

"What's that?" Kiora asked.

“Give this medicine to your brother! I can't compete with these empresses who no one doesn't want to lose!” Rucif answered.

“Haha, okay! My brother is stupid, he likes to make things difficult for himself! Don't try to be like him, OK?" Kiora said half threateningly.

“Haha, I'm not a popular guy like your brother. I don't even understand why you like me," Rucif answered modestly.

“That's because you're so cute!” Kiora whispered.

“Is that so? Do you want me to kiss you again?" Rucif replied in a whisper.

“Mwuah!” Kiora deliberately made kissing sounds to tease Rucif.

The man blushed, he didn't expect that Kiora was also quite brave.

Blaaar!

A loud explosion was heard from the direction of the palace. The elf tree house and forest immediately shook, as if an earthquake had knocked over several items on the table.

"What's that?" Lea shouted.

Rucif immediately came out of the house and flew quickly above the trees to see what was happening. Drex, who was eating with Lea, was also seen leaving the house and jumping up a tree with Rucif.

"What is that?" Drex asked.

"Who knows! I saw an explosion in the northern area. The fire is so big! I think the demon army is starting to make noise in the northern area!” Rucif answered.

"Ow, shit! Can't they relax a little!” Drex grumbled.

"They are indeed sleepless creatures, Drex!" Rucif answered, revealing an astonishing fact.

"Not sleeping? They're up all the time? That's crazy!”

“Yeah, I think we're going to have a real battle soon, Drex!” Rucif answered.

"Ow, man! I will infiltrate the palace tonight! I will try to seal the heirloom mirror of the fairy kingdom!”

“Seal it? Indeed you know how!”

"I wouldn't have left if I didn't know! Lea and I just went to Calestyn and told me how! Only I can do it!” Drex answered.

“Did he also say what the worst-case scenario would be if the mirror wasn't sealed?”

“Fairy Calestyn said, the strongest Demon King will emerge from that mirror! That could be the end of Green Land!”

"Devil's King! Don't let that happen! Even Azazel, who is half devil, can't handle it! Alright, I'll go with you!” asked Rucif.

“Are you coming? Shall we go together?"

"Yes! If we go together at least we can rely on each other! I can protect you while you focus on sealing it!” Rucif answered.

"Okay!"

The elf forest is still relatively safe, the forest elves are prepared with lots of weapons. That night, saying goodbye to Lea and Kiora, the two men went to the elf palace recklessly.

The two of them teleported south of the palace building. They knew that the demons were moving north. Hiding among the bushes, the two saw that the demon army was much larger than he had imagined. The guard is rolling, once they are discovered the demons will beat them up.

“Wow, there are a lot of them!”

"How about we immediately teleport to the place where the heirlooms are stored!" Drex said.

"If I had known the place, I would have done it earlier, Drex!"

"So you don't know?"

"Nope!"

“Hmm__ it's getting difficult. Erm, do you have a spell to make it disappear?”

“Disappearing spell? If I had a spell like that, why would we be hiding here, Drex!” Rucif replied, even annoyed.

“Tch, this is going to be quite troublesome!” Drex snorted. It seemed he was starting to get impatient.

"Just stay here for a moment, as soon as the guard loosens a bit we will go in!" Rucif replied giving advice.

"It will never be loose, the night gets busier because they are all demon troops!" explained a voice that suddenly appeared from behind.

"Good grief! Who are you?" Rucif protested.

“Hey, you little guy! Tomato is your name, right?” Drex said.

“Wow, Mr. Drex from this afternoon! So nice to see you again!” Tomato answered.

“Yeah, why are you here, you should have gone to evacuate! It's very dangerous to be here!” explained Drex.

“I'm taking my gold! I want to secure it somewhere else! Do you want to?” he asked.

“No, I have no interest in things like that!” Drex answered.

"Then why are you peeking here?"

“I want to stop these demons! There are more and more of them! I have to go inside the palace to do something!” Drex answered.

“Enter the palace?”

“Yes, but look there are so many demon troops!”

"Emm__ do you want to use my tunnel? I'll take you in there! So even, I don't owe you anything!" offered the dwarf.

“Enter through the tunnel?” Drex looked at Rucif, it seemed like it could be a safe way for them to infiltrate without being caught.

Rucif nodded and Drex immediately accepted his offer.

“I accept it, Tomato!”
