Chapter 98: 98. Infiltrated The Palace
The little dwarf offered Drex to go through his underground tunnels and enter the palace with him.
"Come on!" he asked.
“Come on, Rucif!”
“Hey, he can't!”
"Why? I came here with him! We have the same mission!”
“But I owe him nothing! So he can just go through the top route!” answered the dwarf.
"Good grief! It turns out that the dwarves are calculating about everything!” Rucif grumbled.
"Hemm, that's not calculation but symbiosis!" answered the dwarf.
“Ah, I see! I have this!”
Rucif took something from his shirt pocket and handed it to the dwarf who immediately glared because of something beautiful in Rucif's hand.
“Give that to me!” said the dwarf.
“This is such a step! You can even pick up something like this if you travel across dimensions!” Rucif answered.
"Come on! Give it to me! You can go through my tunnel as many times as you want!” he answered.
"Hmmm___ still not worth the value I gave!"
"Well, what do you ask for?"
“I want you to find me a ground lotus flower! Only dwarves can be found underground!” Rucif answered.
"Okay! Deal! Come here!”
Rucif handed over the round object and finally, they were able to enter the dwarf tunnel to get to the inside of the fairy palace.
“Is this the tunnel? Why is it so dark, and narrow!” Rucif protested.
Shut! Drex turned into a small wolf and entered easily.
“Hey, it's unfair, Drex!”
“Just crawl!” Drex answered.
The tunnel which was initially dark began to look bright, Drex and Rucif were amazed by the tunnel walls which could glow in the dark. Something with a bright bluish light shone along the tunnel path they were passing through.
“What is this, why is it shining this bright?” Drex asked.
“Hey, this shining thing is moving!”
“Those are light worms, they like to live in dark places and can emit quite bright light. That's why we cultivate these worms here!” explained the dwarf.
“Wow, so this is a worm! But they don't bite, right?”
“No, it's just that they like to get in between clothes and that's so ridiculous!” answered the tomato.
“I think something got into my clothes! Oh, this is ridiculous!" grumbled Rucif.
In contrast to Rucif, Drex just calmly walks in the dark with his glowing yellow eyes.
“What creature are you, Drex? It turns out you can turn into something like this!” asked the dwarf.
"I'm a Lycan,"
"Hmm, I still never know. Emm, go forward in there, on the bright path that leads to the exit that leads into the palace. It's just that I don't dare go near there! I'd be too scared if someone suddenly intercepted me from there!" clearly the dwarf chose to be more comfortable hiding in his hole.
“Okay, Tomato! You've been quite helpful. Just let me and Rucif go!” Drex answered.
The dwarf stopped while the two continued their journey to infiltrate the fairy palace.
“Hey, tomato dwarf! Don't forget to find ground lotus flowers for me! You have received more than enough rewards!” said Rucif when Tomato was about to leave.
"Yes, I will immediately drop it off in front of your house!" he answered.
“Give it to Lea, my sister!” said Rucif.
"Yes, alright!"
The tomato left, he seemed very happy to carry the item that Rucif had given him.
"Actually, what did you give him, Rucif?" asked Drex curiously.
“A fruit seed I found in the human world! The dwarves are grain gatherers, they know which seeds are good plants and which ones are not!”
"Fruit seed! Unexpected!” answered Drex who didn't understand how dwarves thought.
The two of them continued their journey towards the palace. The dwarf hole was covered with bushes in the palace garden, it was certain that the demon guards would not notice.
At the little Wolf Drex popped his black ears, then his snout, and looked towards the surroundings. It turned out that as he expected, inside the fairy palace was much quieter than outside the palace. All the guards seemed to be standing guard outside and some had gone to expand their territory.
"Clear! Come out!” Drex said to Rucif.
“Argh! Being in a tight hole is not a good idea!” Rucif grumbled.
“Hmm, complain again later! Now where should we go? I don't know where the inheritance room is!”
“Yeah me too, but I can feel the energy!” Rucif began to suspect.
“Ah you're right, the thick smell of darkness is there!” pointed Drex in the direction which turned out to be opposite to Rucif.
“Over there, Drex! The energy is greater!” Rucif guessed.
“But I feel the smell more there!” Drex answered.
"Hey, okay, let's split up! Anyone who finds the wrong space must immediately turn around!” Rucif said looking for a middle ground.
"Okay!"
Rucif walked west, while Drex headed east. Both of them could feel something strange in that place but with different indicators.
Drex, who became a small wolf, easily infiltrated the darkness of the night. Its black fur even resembled the color of rocks and soil, so it wasn't too difficult for him to find the source of the smell which he considered to be an inheritance.
But it turns out Drex was wrong, what he was aiming for was to open the inheritance room. But that smell refers to a group of demon troops that look very scary.
“Your Highness Azazel! Thank you for setting us free!” said one of them.
Instead of going to the agreed place, Drex instead had the idea to eavesdrop. He did all this because the creatures he saw there were completely different from the big guards out there. This time the demons with handsome and beautiful faces and bodies were gathering as if they were making plans.
“The main power of the green land is fairy dust! The fairy dust that Calestyn guards is in Silver Mountain! We attack that place, we control all the fairy dust and all the crystals there!" said Azazel.
“We will become the greatest and invincible! We can rule the Green Land!” Azazel explained to his subordinates.
“Long live, Azazel!”
“Long live Azazel!” answered another.
On the west side, Rucif found the mirror energy in the inheritance room. It's just that in that place several demons had just come out of the mirror which was more like a gate for the demons to exit.
“Hihihi, we can finally move here! It's been a long time since I ate the soul of a living creature!” said one of the devils.
"Yes, you're right, especially since this mirror is still open! Soon the king will come and be interested here!" said another devil.
Hearing this, Rucif became even more worried, he also started to worry about waiting for Drex, who never came. Even though Rucif had told him to come back quickly if the place he checked was wrong.
“Where are you Drex?”
Not moving anywhere, Rucif was still there waiting for Drex. Annoyed by the long wait Rucif sent something to summon Drex, he sent a messenger insect with a whispered message that Drex would receive.
“Go Beefly! Tell Drex what I said earlier!” he asked.
The flying briefly, an animal similar to a combination of a bee and a fly, turns out to be quite effective in being able to send voice messages to someone we hope for. This small creature would not make the demon army suspicious even if it passed before their eyes.
“Lots of bugs here, huh!” one of them commented.
Luckily the insects sent by Rucif were not killed by the demon troops and continued to fly high looking for Drex.
Little Wolf Drex was still eavesdropping, it turned out that the attack strategy they were going to carry out stunned Drex there because the fairy forest was also included in the next attack target.
Drex, who was busy eavesdropping, began to be disturbed by the buzzing of insects that circled him. Still in Wolf form, Drex's hand definitely couldn't hit him. He could only shake his head. But the insect instead got into Drex's wide ears.
“Drex! Hurry west! I found the mirror!” shouted Rucif's voice through the bugs that entered his ears.
“Aaa__so noisy! This must be Rucif!” Drex shook his head again, willing the bug to come out.
The insect did come out, it flew up and then disappeared.
“I have to go west immediately!”
The little Drex began to infiltrate, he walked slowly and immediately hid when Abere passed by with several new demon guards.
"A moment! Do you guys smell this?” Abere asked the others.
"What smells Miss, I didn't smell anything at all!"
"It's quite a familiar smell, but I forgot what it smells like?" she muttered.
Abere looked in all directions but she didn't find anything suspicious.
“There's nothing here,e Miss Abere! Let's gather with the others, I think His Highness Azazel has something to say!” said another.
"Okay! Let's go!"
Sensing there was an opportunity, Drex immediately broke through the bushes and ran as fast as he could to the west. Even a demon who was walking past seemed to relax when he saw the little wolf Drex passing by.
“In the fairy world, it turns out there are also wolves. "I thought they only lived in the human world," he said, thinking that Drex were similar to animals.
Drex finally arrived, he saw an open room with a mirror that seemed to be a gate.
“Shhh! Here! I'm here!" called Rucif who turned out to be hiding.
Drex approached, joined Rucif, and observed the situation.
"You seal the mirror, while I will protect you if a demon gets in the way!" said Rucif.
“But it's quiet here! There's no one!"
"Okay, come on, hurry!"
Rucif and Drex approached the mirror but before Drex had time to open Calestyn's bracelet, a demon came out of it.
“Um__Hi!” Drex said.
"Hi, hmm?" the devil answered in confusion.
"Are you late, the devil meeting is over!" said Rucif.
"What?"
“Yes, it's done. I even want to return to my realm now!” Drex said.
"You are also a demon army?" asked the man, somewhat doubtful, seeing the forms of Drex and Rucif with different auras.
“Yes, we were the same as you before, but we've been together for longer! Look don't I look perfect!” Rucif said he was even narcissistic.
"Go back to your world!" said Drex, turning the man's body around and telling him to go back into the mirror.
"But I__!"
"Come on, come back first, I'll catch up later!" Rucif replied, also turning the devil's shoulder, who looked doubtful.
Drex had taken off his bracelet, and with a little spell, he got from the fairy Calestyn a very bright crystal of light was visible.
"You're not a devil!" the man protested but___ !"
Bruak!
Rucif quickly kicked him, causing the demonic man to go back inside.
“Quick Drex! All demons must be aware of the existence of this crystal!” he said.
"Okay, I'll try!"
Drex cast the Calestyn spell once again and made the crystal he was holding change into the shape of a star.
One as bright as the star on the forehead of Lycan Drex Ethan.
"Wow, you shine! But how can? Drex, who are you?" Rucif muttered in surprise.
The demon army who saw the unusual crystal light from the west flocked to the source of the light.
"Crystal of light, give me your power, with me the master of the power of light, be you seal this mirror!" shouted Drex with all his strength, thrusting the crystal into the mirror that was shaking.
Clack!
All the light disappeared, and the gate in the mirror was also invisible, like an ordinary mirror, the mirror did not have the slightest magical energy.
"You did it, Drex!" said Rucif.
Bruk!
Drex fainted, the strength he had released earlier was something he had never trained for. He never knew that he was of elf descent, he only believed that he was a pure lycan. That's what caused Drex to faint from exhaustion.
From all directions, the demons came. Rucif, who could feel the flow of energy, immediately hugged Drex, and whoosh! Teleport! They both disappeared.
The demons who came were confused, their mirrors had no energy, and their gates were sealed and didn't even work anymore. Azazel da Abere looked angry, but they didn't understand what was happening.
"Ow, Damn! There is an intruder!” said Abere.
“Prepare all troops! We will attack Silver Mountain tomorrow!” Azazel loudly gave the order.
***
Rucif, who teleported to the fairy forest, brought Drex unconscious. He knew that his friend was just tired, but of course, Lea would get worried when she saw Drex faint.
“Drex!” shouted Lea, who immediately carried her into Rucif's house.
"What happened, Rucif?" Lea asked palely.
“He's just tired, he's not hurt at all! So don't worry about him!" Rucif answered.
“Good news, ow, my poor Drex! Wake up Drex!” Lea still exaggerates even though it has been explained.
Kiora, who also came to welcome Rucif, immediately checked on her lover too.
"Are you okay?" she asked.
"Yes, I'm Good! Drex succeeded in sealing the demon mirror, he was very tired now. He's sleeping like he's passed out!” Rucif answered.
“Ah, but Lea is so worried!”
“Yeah, she's so over the top! Will you also be like her when I'm the one who's hurt?” Rucif asked.
“Erm, I think the same! Hihihi!”
“Where's Prince Xavier? It's quiet here, there are no intimate scenes like yesterday," asked Rucif looking for his patient.
“Lea looked for a tree house at the end there! Spacious enough for my brother and his 12 wives.
“Ah, is that so? I think that's better,"
Not long after, Drex woke up, he opened his eyes and immediately hugged Lea who was beside him.
"Are you worried!"
“Drex! You're awake, is there something wrong?"
“Calm down, I just feel very tired! Where's Rucif?”
"Hey, what's up Drex?" said Rucif who had just arrived.
“Rucif, it's terrible! They are planning to attack Silver Mountain tomorrow! I heard it earlier! They want to control all the crystals there!”
"Oh no! This is bad news!”
