Chapter 22: Leondra acted spoiled

Leondra suddenly hugged Henary from behind. Of course, this surprised Henary.

"Leondra, why are you hugging me? I can't focus on cooking, and it'll burn," said Henary, trying to break free from Leondra's embrace.

But Leondra only tightened her embrace. "It's okay, just like this." Hearing Leondra's words, Henary was naturally annoyed.

"You asked me to cook with you, but if you're going to do this, you're just distracting me from cooking," Henary grumbled.

"Don't you know that when humans cook with their partners, they do this? It looks very romantic," said Leondra with a chuckle.

"This is just your excuse, let go!" Henary tried to pull Leondra's hands away again, but Leondra still didn't let go of her embrace.

"Just like this, I still want to hug you. I'm sure the food won't burn," said Leondra.

Henary sighed and decided to give in. He let Leondra hug him.

"Fine. Whatever you want," Henary replied while stirring the food.

Leondra smiled because Henary finally gave in.

Leondra also became more playful, sniffing Henary's neck and then kissing his cheek.

"Just hug me, Leondra. Don't kiss me," growled Henary.

Vampires only eat fresh blood, of course, but thanks to her father's help, Leondra got a pill that allowed her to live like a normal human. She could eat meat and other things. However, there were still some foods that Leondra couldn't enjoy.

"Why? I only kissed your cheek for a second," replied Leondra casually.

Henary forcefully pushed Leondra away and glared at her.

"Do you actually want us to cook together, or do you want to annoy me? You've been annoying me this whole time," Henary growled.

Seeing Henary angry made Leondra chuckle softly. He looked cute and adorable.

"Isn't this fun?" Leondra asked without a guilty expression.

"It's not fun at all, Leondra. I can't focus on cooking, and the food won't taste good," said Henary.

"I guarantee your food will still taste good," replied Leondra.

"But if you keep bothering me, my food might not taste good," Henary grumbled.

"So, don't bother me anymore." Henary went back to cooking.

"Henary," Leondra called, continuing to stare at Henary.

"What is it, Leondra?" Henary asked, holding back his annoyance.

"When I see you cooking, you look so tempting and even sexier. So it's better if I just hug you like before," Leondra replied.

"Leondra! I could hit you with this," Henary said with an angry expression.

Leondra wasn't panicking at all; she was actually laughing loudly. "If you only hit me with a spatula, it will break and get damaged. I won't feel any pain either."

"How annoying," Henary grumbled.

Henary went back to cooking, trying to ignore Leondra's presence.

Two hours later, Henary had finished cooking. And sure enough, Leondra hadn't helped him cook, but had only disturbed and teased Henary.

"Try it first," said Henary.

"I want to be fed," replied Leondra with a spoiled look.

Henary sighed, trying to be patient with Leondra's behavior. "Fine, open your mouth quickly." Henary then gave the steak to Leondra.

"How is it? Does it taste good or not?" asked Henary.

"Of course it's delicious, especially since you made it," replied Leondra.

Leondra walked over to the cupboard, took something out, and drank it.

"What is that, Leondra?" asked Henary.

"Damn! I forgot Henary was still here," Leondra grumbled to herself.

"It's tea," replied Leondra with a smile, then closed the cupboard.

"Why is it red? What kind of tea is it?" Henary said with a puzzled look on his face.

"It's special tea for men. It tastes a little bitter, but it has quite powerful properties," replied Leondra.

"Really? That's quite unique. I want to try it, but it's only for men," said Henary with a chuckle.

"I'll find some tea specifically for women if you want, but don't ever open or drink mine," Leondra warned.

"Okay. But what are the benefits of that tea?" Henary asked.

"One of them is that it helps you last longer during intercourse," Leondra replied.

"Oh my God, Leondra! Then why do you drink that tea when you don't have a partner?" Henary exclaimed with a shocked expression.

"It's okay, you're here," Leondra said with a smile.

"Leondra, don't joke around and scare me!" Henary snapped.

"Okay. I was just joking earlier. This tea has properties that keep you young and maintain a perfect body," explained Leondra.

"Look, isn't my body very nice and seductive?" said Leondra, trying to seduce Henary.

"It's nothing special," grumbled Henary irritably.

"No way," said Leondra with a surprised look on her face.

"Later, buy me some tea that's specifically for women. I want to try it," ordered Henary.

"Then, are you going to try to seduce me?" asked Leondra with an innocent look.

"No. I'm just curious about the taste, but if you don't want to buy it for me, that's fine too," grumbled Henary.

"Okay, dear. I'll buy it for you, as long as you never touch, let alone drink, mine. It's very dangerous for you," Leondra warned sternly.

"Yes. I understand. Now let's just eat first," said Henary, and Leondra nodded in response.

They then enjoyed their meal together in peace.

Of course, what Leondra drank earlier was not tea, but blood that Leondra kept in the refrigerator.

Before that, Leondra had removed the smell of her blood so that Henary would not be suspicious, and Leondra could enjoy drinking blood every day.

"Damn! I feel that stupid Wolf getting closer," Leondra growled silently as she gripped her spoon and fork.

This did not escape Henary's notice. "What's wrong? Is the food not good?" Henary asked cautiously, seeing Leondra's face as if she was holding back her emotions.

"No. It's not about the food," Leondra replied.

"I feel like that stupid Wolf is getting closer," she continued.

"Then, what should we do?" Henary asked with a worried look on his face.

"We have to make a careful plan, I'll think about it. Let's just eat first," Leondra ordered.

"But, Leondra. I feel uneasy," Henary replied.

"You've already worked hard to make it, so we have to eat it. Don't worry about the Wolf; I've also set up protection in this house." Henary nodded, trying to stay calm and obey Leondra's words. This time, Henary was sure Leondra wasn't joking.
