Chapter 34
Alvin, Angela and the old man were viciously attacked by a demon, they just saved a young boy from the hands of death but the demon left them with a question, “ I know who you are ”.
Present scene..
‘ What did he tell you, come on, what did he tell you ’, Angela asked.
The old man stares at him and turns his attention away from him.
Angela touches his shoulder, ‘ come on, tell me what he told you, don't be shy ’, in a soft tone.
He stares at Angela.
‘ it was nothing serious, just some little threats that doesn't matter ’, he replied.
As the Old man looks up, he sights some group of demons approaching.
‘ we need to go, they are coming, we can not stay here much longer, we need to move ’.
They all dashed away from the street as the demons were running for them like wild dogs.
Few minutes later.
Alvin and the others have escaped the demon onslaught carrying the injured boy along with them while the old man was busy keeping watch Incase they were been followed.
Angela checks the young boys temperature.
‘ he is burning hot, we need to help him before he dies ’, Angela said.
‘ you are right, we need to do something about it ’, Alvin replied.
They all ran towards a near by village, unknown to them that they were spotted by some demons.
West country Exmoor hospital.
At the front of the building was looking scary, with black ravens humming around it's pavements concrete.
Alvin looks up at the building and takes in a huge spit for the road.
Getting to the door some weird event were already taking place, with the metal clinking door and the loud bang coming from the door.
‘ we need to take things slow from here, just take it step by step ’, Alvin instructed.
Getting there, a young male figure opens the door, making them to jump out of their pants.
‘ who the hell are you ’, the young man said.
‘ we are travelers seeking shelter, one of our fellow traveler got bitten by a snake, we need to help him before he dies off ’, Alvin said.
The young man stares at the young boy on Angela's arm as he was shaking due to his condition.
‘ ok, come in ’, he opens the door for them.
‘ take a seat, am going to attend to you very soon, just give me few minutes ’, he walks out on them.
The old man slowly brings the young boy down from Angela's arm, he immediately tears off his clothes and adds pressure on his wounds.
‘ what are you doing ’, Angela asked.
‘ I am adding pressure to his fresh wounds, so that some of the injected blood will flow out from his body ’, he replied.
Alvin begins to flash back in his thoughts, thinking about what the demon said to him, about his nasty secret of him been a demon.
‘ how did he know my secret, it's impossible, he was told but by who ’, he soliloquies to himself while gazing back to his thoughts.
While..
As the young man was inside the ICU room searching for the equipment and tools that will be needed for his treatment.
As he goes through the cabinet throwing everything he sees to the floor, he sights some shadows of people outside the reception.
He moves closer to his window and discovered that they were actually demons.
He runs out from the ICU, taking some things with him in a kit.
The old man monitors the boy's pulse and realized that his already out, he signals to Alvin.
‘ he is out, his pulse is not responding, I think he is already transforming ’, he said.
Alvin slowly walks up to him, Angela was busy crying on his palms while the young man working in the hospital stops for a while and observe some emotional break down.
As Alvin reached to the boy cold corpse, his tears drips on his body.
Suddenly the Old man swiftly unsheathe his sword without his notice.
The Alvin moves backwards in fear.
‘ what are you doing, you don't need to do that, he is just an innocent child, spear his life ’, Alvin pleads.
He rose the sword above his head, ‘ you don't know what you are doing, it's better you stay away or else if this boy lives we all will be dead corpse by dawn, we can not just let him live, we also need to defend ourselves from our enemies before we die ’, the Old man muttered.
Alvin slowly goes down on his knee
‘ please, forgive him, he does not no anything, he is as innocent as we all are ’, Alvin said.
‘ we need to get out of here, some demons are here, if we don't get out of here soon, we might end up been dead meat by dawn, we need to take our chance ’, the young man said.
The young boy opens his eyes and jumps up on the bed, his body was looking strong, his eyes were as red as blood while veins surge his entire body.
He breaths heavily with sweat dripping down from his body.
‘ his transformation is complete, there is nothing we can do, it's better we just move away from him before we end up being fish food to him ’, the old man said.
He stares at them and observes his body, slowly checking out his hands with a long frown on his face.
‘ I need to end this now ’, the old man drives his sword towards the young boy direction.
He saw the sword coming for him in slow motion, before it got to him, he uses both of his fingers to trap the old man's sword In suspension.
The old man struggles to move the sword when the young boy knocks him away with just a wave of his hand.
The young boy leaps up from the bed and spreads his arms.
He walks up to Angela with his contracted claws, he strikes her on her face sending her flying through the midair and aggressively slamming her body against the solid wall.
He then moves towards the young man who works in the hospital, but this time displaying his contracted fangs and holding a wide glare on his face.
As he lunge for the young man, a spark occurred with blood splashing on the floor.
‘ did you really think I would let you eat him like that ’.
It was Alvin, he was holding back the young boy as he struggles to attack the young man.
