Chapter 41: CHAPTER FORTY ONE

Sarah felt safe been around Adam, he did not waste time in stealing glances at her when they were alone, the only thing she felt around him was peace, she could feel the truth in his eyes too Last night after her bath, Adam told her more about werewolves and the rogue werewolves (the werewolves that ran off or were kicked out of their pack) while she lay in his arm. “It depends on what you actually want,” she replied, while pulling harder on his shirt, bringing him close to her, she inhaled his cologne, and finally found his lips again, this time his tongue lingered a little further and he let out a soft moan which sparked her up. She was fully ignited as she deepened the kiss after learning some things already. Ian and Selena about had themselves out of the mansion too, Adam was getting into his truck when he met Ian his beta entering their car too.

“Buddy?” Adam asked.

“Yeah! Man!” he replied.

“Where you off to?” Adam asked.

“Just going to take a walk with Selena," Ian replied.

“Me too.”

“That makes us even.” They laughed off the event and passed the wall of their house before they realized that they were truly going in the same direction.

The drive to the woods was slow and Adam promised himself that they were going to grab lunch at McDonald’s, he gathered himself together and swerved the steering wheel, Sarah as looking out of the window, he knew how much she loved the scenery but just couldn’t get enough of it that was why they had to come there that evening and he hoped she was not triggered by the event of the last time, she was a strong woman so he knew little things never really matter as long she was able to go along with him to McDonald’s to get some chicken.

As he drove the car, they got to the wood side and he parked his truck beside Ian own, he jumped down the truck, went down to help Selena with her own meanwhile she had already gotten it free for herself. She jumped down and Adam admired the dress she wore, everything was beaming in the bright light, he little purse hung briefly on her shoulders matching her outfit and making her look radiant.

As they walked through the wood admiring nature that was before them, they couldn’t help but notice the glistening of the bright skies above them. Ian had his arms wrapped around Selena as the giggling behind them.

Adam could feel what Ian felt because he was in love too. Again, the only thing that held him back from kissing her under the beauty of the trees was the fact that she was totally away from him, her mind was roaming again and she was looking at something, she stopped and was staring at the yellow flowers that shone beautiful over her face, she stopped picked them up and gave them to Adam, Adam collected it instantly and gave her a soft kiss on her forehead before collecting it to attach it to her hair, she had not given it to him to attach it to her hair.

She had given it to him to symbolize their love and she raised her eyes to his in wonder and giggled at the flowers that were on her hair, the flowers smelt so good that she could not wait to pack a lot of it and take it back to the mansion.

Xana knew she needed to explain to someone about what had been happening, she couldn’t believe that the one person she tried to make happy was not recognizing her hard effort in making sure everything was in place, she wanted to call her mother but rethinks it, maybe she should visit her instead as she said as she hurriedly left the house, everyone had left the vicinity and it remained just her and the maids. She was fucking lonely and she had never felt dejected before, not once in her life had she felt dejected.

The drive to her house was swift because she had been crying her eyes out all these while trying to calm herself down and hoped that one day he would love her back, but she drove into her driveway and entered into the house looking around searching for anything new to comment on.

Getting into her house, she stopped at the door and knocked, as the door club open, he mother stood at the opened door, filed with emotions, she ran towards her and hugged her. She missed her mother, missed her pack, she missed her neighbors. As she got into the house with her hands wrapped around her mother, she fell on the sofa and smiled at the thought of been in her home again, this was where she belonged, not there but here where people cared about her and missed her.

As she settled to have talk to her mother so she would be back to the mansion before Alicia starts looking for her, she didn’t tell anyone where she was go or when she would be back.

“Mom, I am tired,” she finally said. “I am tired of practically living my life to please Adam but he doesn’t notice me, he doesn’t appreciate me, he dies not car about my emotions, he hasn’t even looked into my eyes the way he looks at Sarah. That girl is making everything unbearable for me. Adam has never given me the smile he gives her and the attention he gives her is way too much, Can you believe I have never entered his room?" She spoke as she became more swollen with the actions hitting her.

“As I speak to you now, they are out there on a date having fun while I drown in jealousy,” Xana replied, stating what had happened to her some hours ago when they prepared for their trip.

“Calm down, my baby, we will need to do something about this Sarah girl. She is getting more difficult each day and I must say she’s doing her worst in trying to wind Adam before I will not allow her success,” Ariel replied
