Chapter 75
“What do you have planned?” Vincent says.
“We need to get out of the packhouse. There are back doors but I don’t think everyone should go out at one time or from the same door so stagger who goes out what door. Me and Sonya will go out the front to try to distract him.”
“Did any of you bring reinforcements?” Jim asks the group.
“Yes, Gamma.” They all say with a chuckle.
“I would have too. Let’s have them watch for Hades’s group and come in behind them. Everyone else spread out. If you can do anything from in the packhouse use the windows and different floors to your advantage otherwise let’s get out and take this fucker down.” Jim says in a commanding tone.
“Sadie and Claire you stay with Greg. Sonya you stay with Jake and me. Warriors you each take an alliance member and protect them.”
“Witches and Wizards with me now.” Francesca booms.
“Vampires and all none wolves with me now.” Vincent commands.
Everyone goes in their directed areas and gets set up to take on Hades.
Jake pulls Sonya with him to the front door. “Love, I think I have an idea but you are not going to like it.”
“What is it?” Jake asks with worry.
“Let me wait for him at the door alone and you all stand just inside the door. Let him think that I am alone and waiting for him.”
“I do not like that. No, you can’t do that.”
“It will distract him enough until they can be surrounded.”
“What if he doses you with something or takes you again before I can reach you? No, I can’t lose you.”
Sonya puts her hands on the sides of his face. “Trust me my love.”
“It’s not that I don’t trust you, I don’t trust him.”
“Then know that I trust your ability to get me back before he would disappear with me.”
“Fine but I don’t like this at all. You have to wear a tracker just in case.”
“Okay that’s fine. Let’s go.”
Jim fastens a tracker to the waistband of her skirt. Jake kisses her and then she walks to the door. Jake, Jim, and the warriors hide just inside the door.
“Hades, to what do I owe the displeasure?” Sonya asks as Hades and his army come to a halt at the bottom of the packhouse steps.
He chuckles and says, “I figured you would have missed me whore.”
“What is there to miss?”
He growls and makes a motion to take a step towards her before his Beta puts his arm out to stop him. “Where is your protection and your Alpha?”
“It’s just me Hades. It’s time we end this once and for all.”
He laughs and says “You want to take me on by yourself? That hasn’t been going very well for you.”
“Well, it’s easy for you since you always tied me up and dosed me with wolfsbane. Come on are you scared? I, Luna Sonya Turner, challenge you Hades Parks to a hand-to-hand battle with no weapons. If I win, I get your ‘pack’ and if you win you get me.”
He laughs and gives a smirk. “You have no idea what you are doing? You can’t beat me.”
Jake starts to go to Sonya but Jim stops him. “Trust her. She can beat him in hand to hand.” He nods and they stay out of site.
“Are you scared?”
“Of course not.”
“Then what is your answer? I don’t have all day.”
“Fine let’s do this then but I want your Alpha present.”
“That’s fine but you will not be able to use your witches’ powers or any other types of weapons, agreed?”
“Yes, I agree. Where should we do this?”
“I think just on my pack grounds here would be good.”
Sonya starts walking down the steps as everyone backs up. Jake and everyone from inside come down the steps as well. The group is surrounded by people and they soon realize they are outnumbered.
“What are you doing? This is supposed to a hand-to-hand battle between you and me.”
“They are just here to make sure that everything goes the way it is supposed to and you do not cheat.”
Francesca comes running up and puts an invisible shield around the area they will be battling in so no spells or weapons can enter.
“You will be searched thoroughly as well Hades.” Jake says as Jim searches him. He pulls out a dagger and a small pistol.
Jake walks over to Sonya and hugs and kisses her. “You can do this love. I know you can.”
“Thank you for believing in me. Just know if anything happens I love you so much.”
“Nothing is going to happen to you. Just try to protect your belly love.”
“I will. He won’t get close enough to hit me there. I promise.” She gives him a wink.
Francesca comes up to her and says “You can’t fight in those clothes.” She waves her hand and Sonya is suddenly in a pair of shorts and a shorts bra.
“Thank you Francesca. I really appreciate that. It will be easier to move now.” She gives her a hug before making her way onto the battle ground. Everyone gathers around the edge of the area.
“Not too late to back out whore.”
“I have already told you not to disrespect me. I will never back down or submit to you.”
Hades throws his head back and laughs. “You only submit when you are enjoying the sex.”
Sonya starts getting mad and her breathing increases until Jake links ‘Calm down and breath love. He’s trying to get you off your game. Do not feed into it.’
She nods at Jake and calms herself. “Are you going to just keep talking or are we going to do this?”
“After you Luna.” Hades does a big sarcastic curtsey.
“Begin” Jake booms from the edge of the field.
Hades and Sonya circle each other. Sonya takes in his stance and how he is favoring his right side. She adjusts her stance to go to his left. She attacks first by throwing a three-punch combo to his face and a kick to his belly sending him to the ground. Before he can get up she is on top of him punching him in the face.
He rolls over and pushes Sonya off of him enough for him to get up to his feet. His eyes are both swollen and he has blood running down the left side of his face from a busted eyebrow. He attempts an attack on Sonya but she spins pulling his leg with her and throws him about 10 feet from her.
He scampers back to his feet and runs back at her. She punches him in the temple and gives him an uppercut to his jaw as he attempts to wrap his arms around her waist. Sonya ducks out of his arms and slides beside him punching him in the crotch.
He doubles over trying to catch his breath. His army is yelling out orders for him to attack and kill Sonya but neither of them seem to hear anything.
‘Goddess please send me your energy. This needs to end.’
Sonya feels a burst of energy through her body and she goes into attack Hades again. She punches him in the temple and it throws his head back. She spins around and kicks him in the stomach and keeps punching him in the head. He pushes her off and then Sonya runs at him jumping to give one more hard punch to the face and when it connects it throws him against the barrier of the battle field. The impact breaks Hades’s neck and kills him.
Sonya stands in the middle trying to catch her breath. Once she composes herself she realizes that the barrier is down but Hades’ army is advancing on her with more coming from the forest line. She looks to Jake who is already in a battle with 3 people. Francesca and the rest of the witches are killing the witches as fast as they can.
Sonya has only a few seconds to collect herself before she has to start fighting again. She starts fighting everyone that is coming at her. The energy from the goddess just keeps growing as she throws people away from her. It seems the more that she gets rid of the more that fill back in.
Francesca and the witches finally kill the last witch and they go to middle of the battleground. They start taking on people as they come out of the forest. Vincent and his vampires finally make it out of the forest line they were held to join the battle.
Alpha Scott and Alpha Jake are fighting back-to-back as they are taking on as many people as they can.
Sonya is watching Jake in awe as she feels a kick to the side of her head. She is instantly knocked out. Francesca kills the vampire that kicked her and then stands over her. She summons power to push everyone back from Sonya.
