Chapter 74

As they get to the front door, they are met by Francesca and the vampire King. They are followed by at least 20 people.

“Hi I am Francesca, Luna Maria’s sister and this is my fiancé the Vampire King, Vincent.”

“It’s a pleasure to meet you both. I am Alpha Jake and this is my Luna Sonya. We both really appreciate you both taking the time and helping us.”

“Oh dear, you are the one. It’s an honor to meet you Luna Sonya. I have heard so much about you.” Vincent says. “I am sorry to have to meet under these circumstances but we look forward to being allies and getting rid of Hades for good.” He holds his hand out to shake Sonya’s hand again and pulls it up to his mouth to kiss the back of her hand. Jake gets tense not sure what is going on but Sonya nudges him to not do anything.

“That’s great to hear. Thank you both.” Sonya adds with a smile on her face.

“We will be holding the meeting down this hall if you would like to make your way in there, there are drinks and snacks for everyone as well.” Jake says as he motions for them to head down the hall way.

“Thank you Alpha.” Vincent says with a smile. He releases Sonya’s hand and takes Francesca’s hand and leads her down the hallway.

‘Breath my love.’ Sonya links.

Jake looks at her and leans his head down to the crook of her neck to breath in her scent so he can calm himself. ‘Thank you baby.’

She smiles at him but doesn’t say anything else.

They continue to greet and direct people as they come through the doors. Finally Alpha Scott, Luna Maria, Beta Reginald, and Harriett come. Once they enter the building, the whole group heads into the ball room.

“Alpha, before we start I would like to put a cone of silence over the room so no one can hear if there happens to be anyone trying to listen.” Francesca says to Jake but so the group can hear.

“Yes, please that would be great.” Jake responds with a smile on his face.

Everyone watches as Francesca places a barrier around the room to seal it off. “Thank you, Alpha.”

“No thank you.” Jake responds with a head nod. “I am Alpha Jake and this is my Luna, Luna Sonya. We have brought everyone here today to propose being allies against a hateful man who is determined to take over the world.”

‘Baby can I tell them some of what he has done?’ Jake links.

‘Yes, that’s the only way.’ She links back sadly.

‘Do you want to?’

‘I will try. Can you stand by me?’

‘Always love.’

“I am Luna Sonya. Thank you all for being here today. It is true that we are here to come together against Hades. Not only has he started to build an army but he is convinced that he can harness the power of the moon goddess through a pendant that he thinks I possess.”

“Why would he think you have the pendant?” One of the witches asks.

“That I do not know but he is convinced that he can use the moon goddess’s powers to take over the world through me.”

“We all know that he is trying to take over the world but if this is a personal vendetta then we do not want any part of it.” A vampire in the back says.

“I can assure you that this is not a personal vendetta Boris. He has done unspeakable things to the Luna and he deserves to pay but if he is not stopped soon it will not take long for him to take all of us out.” Vincent says in a booming tone to tell the room to stop attacking Sonya.

“What could he have possibly done to the Luna? She is Alpha Jake’s mate. Who in their right mind would touch her?” A wizard in the back says.

“That is the problem. He is not in his right mind. Not only was I kidnapped, beaten, and tortured by him but he has hired men to molest and rape me repeatedly.” Sonya says in almost a whisper as she sheds a tear and her knees get weak. “I refuse to let that happen to anyone else.”

There are gasps from around the room and silence.

“It is true that he has done these things to my Luna. I refuse to allow him to live any longer. Not just because of what he has done but because he is wanting to use her for his evil plans.” Jake says as he grabs ahold of Sonya and pulls her into his side. Greg and Jim stand around them as a show of support. “So, the question is, who is with us? I don’t want to go into detail until we know who is with us.”

‘Moon Goddess, please be nearby. Tell me if there is anyone we cannot trust.’

‘I am watching my child. There are 2 so far that I can see are questionable.’

‘Who are those? Boris and Genevieve. Keep talking and see if they will change their minds.’

‘Love keep talking and get people to give you a decision.’

“Anyone willing to go first?” Jake asks.

Vincent and Francesca stand up. “We stand with you and will do everything in our power to help which includes our coven and nest.” Vincent states as he pulls Francesca into his side and kisses the top of her head. Francesca nods and looks at Maria with a smile.

Scott stands and says “You know we are always behind you. Whatever you need.” Jake nods to him as Reginald, Maria, and Harriett stand up.

It didn’t take long before everyone was standing up.

‘Sonya, they have not changed their minds. They are relaying info to Hades and he is on his way.’

‘Can you tell how far away he is?’

‘No, I’m sorry I can’t.’

‘I need you to go away. Please do not be anywhere near here.’

‘Yes, my child. I will protect you and the pups as always.’

‘Thank you.’

Sonya opened a link to Jake, Greg, Jim, Sadie, and Claire. ‘Hades is on his way. Boris and Genevieve are feeding info to him.’

“It seems we have some traitors among us who are feeding info to Hades while we have been talking.” Jake says as he pushes Sonya behind him to Greg and Jim. “Boris and Genevieve step forward.”

Vincent and Francesca’s eyes go wide. “What is the meaning of this?” They say in unison towards the two being called forward.

“It’s too late. There is nothing you can do.” Genevieve says with a smile.

“Claire how far out?” Jake asks.

“Less than 3 minutes.”

Vincent and Francesca step in front of their respective witch and vampire. “You two will die for this.”

“So be it.” Boris says with a smirk.

Vincent and Francesca kill them both in the middle of the room.

“Now is the time to stand together. Who’s with us?” Jake booms throughout the room.

“We all are Alpha.” They all say.

“What do you have planned?” Vincent says.
