Chapter 20: There Was Nothing Else But Many Rooms

Soon, the car stopped at the Whitfield villa.

The Whitfield villa was an antique manor, blending ancient and modern styles with a subtle harmony.

It exuded a low-key yet noble and domineering atmosphere.

Even though Jennifer had seen the Golden villa, she couldn't help but be impressed by the beautiful landscape in front of her, feeling that only Michael was worthy of living here.

Robby was surprised to see Jennifer and then politely extended his hand, "Mr. Whitfield, Miss Sibbett, please."

"Thank you, Robby."

Jennifer responded politely.

This modest attitude made Robby feel good, unlike those few who were arrogant.

"Auntie, come with me, and I'll show you our rooms."

William couldn't wait, so he grabbed Jennifer's hand and ran to his room, afraid that the house would run away if they were even a second late.

Their room?

Jennifer found William's words amusing and confusing.

William indeed needed a tutor.

Watching William so excited, Robby was shocked once again. William invited a woman to his room voluntarily?

Michael was already immune to the exceptional situations that involved Jennifer and calmly followed behind them.

"Auntie, this is our room, and Dad lives across the hall."

"Do you like it? If you don't, we can move to a different room."

There was nothing else but many rooms.

He was truly Michael's child, speaking in such a domineering manner.

"Wow, William, your room is so cool," Jennifer sincerely exclaimed, then added, "But you are already a man, so you should live on your own."

"You can stay in the guest room next to mine," Michael suggested at the right time, feeling at ease only when she was under his watchful eye.

...

"Okay."

This time William didn't make a big fuss, obediently agreeing.

Since she was here anyway, he could go find her at night.

William had a plan in mind.

Reaching out to hold Jennifer's hand, he said, "Auntie, I'm hungry."

"Be good, and I will make it for you now."

Jennifer touched her forehead, almost forgetting that William hadn't eaten yet.

She made pizzas, which made the three of them happy.

Michael ate more than usual.

After dinner, Jennifer continued to play with William, while Michael busied himself with the documents.

After a while, Robby whispered, "Mr. Whitfield, Jessica is here again."

"I don't want to see her."

Without even lifting his head, Michael's words were chilling.

Robby sighed and hesitated to say something in front of Michael.

After Michael finished reading the documents, he slowly raised his head and said, "Speak freely."

"Mr. Whitfield, you should go and see her. Jessica said if she doesn't see you today, she won't leave. I'm afraid she will make trouble at the door and disturb William."

…

Michael's brows furrowed as he impatiently got up and headed straight for the door.

Jessica was blocked outside the main gate, unable to even enter the front garden, let alone see who that woman was.

Filled with anger, she wished she could just blow up the Whitfield villa.

Just as she was about to go in, the door opened.

Michael in a suit and leather shoes had his usual cold, unfeeling demeanor, but for some reason, he seemed different today.

It was as if there was a hint of tenderness deep in his eyes.

Could it be because of that woman?

Jealousy suddenly overtook her anger, and even without looking in the mirror, Jessica knew her current expression must be ugly.

Nevertheless, she had to put on a pleasing smile and ask, "Michael, is William doing well?"

"I know I'm not worthy to teach him, so I took special care in selecting a few home tutors. I have their profiles with me."

Jessica took out the materials and smiled, "Michael, let me take them to William, okay? Hopefully, he will like the teacher I selected, and it's also my duty as a mother."

"You don't need to worry about this."

Michael turned away with disgust, "I don't like repeating myself."

"Michael, I know you're mad at me, but I want to start over. Can you give me a chance?"

Jessica stopped him and begged desperately, hoping to touch Michael's heart.

But at that moment, a gentle voice from the garden, "William, I'm here. Come chase after me."

"I'm coming."

Mixed in with the joyful laughter of William.

Jessica, who was begging, was suddenly stunned.

Her mouth seemed to be stuffed with smelly socks, shocked and unable to close.

This voice, it was Jennifer!
