Chapter 51 51

Chapter 51 51
Arthur smirked, finally leaving the guy who groaned painfully. With a glare at both Arthur and Sheila, he bolted out, his footsteps echoing.
Sheila turned to Arthur, eyes blazing. “That was unnecessary,” she snapped and Arthur smirked, pocketing his hands, face unreadable and emotion blank.
His lips curled, “Unnecessary?” he huffed. "I should have ripped off that silly hand of his body, little one." He grimaced and Sheila scoffed, rolling her eyes at him.
“The dress looks good on you,” he said, turning his back on her and Sheila's fingers curled, digging into her flesh.
The dress looks good on her, is that the only thing he could say? She huffed, then glared at him before going back to the dressing room to change. She returned almost immediately, and they left together to settle the bills.
Soon, the car drove out of the place. Sheila had expected them to return back to the mansion, at least she needed to eat something and shower before they could attend the function but she was even more shocked when Ted took a turn, completely different from the route leading to the mansion.
Her head swelled and she turned to Arthur, gaze narrowing. “Tell me, are you addicted to being in control?” She snarled, gaze murderous.
Arthur shrugged, “Literally” he replied calmly and Sheila squeezed her face hard, her neck stiffened and her eyes emitting fire. She turned, flipping her short hair back as an exhale escaped her throat.
“Where are we going now? To the function?” She queried, her gaze fixed outside the window. Arthur drummed his fingers lazily on the leather, shutting his eyes close.
“You'll figure everything out, just take a chill pill and relax,” he murmured softly. Sheila turned to him, about to throw a fit or a tantrum about how he loves keeping her in the dark, but when she saw his eyes closed, she huffed slowly, returning her gaze back to the window.
After a few minutes, the car stopped in front of a bath house and Sheila's head swirled, anger coursing through her veins.
What was wrong with Arthur? Bringing her to a bathhouse?
A gentle knock on the car's window made Sheila snap her gaze to the window, her brows knitted together and her lips parted when she saw a pretty young lady, smiling at her.
She lowered the window, her face a mixture of confusion and bewilderment, the lady leaned in, “Gracias, please come down and follow me.” she said politely and Sheila was even more confused because Arthur didn't say a word, his eyes were still tightly closed and it seemed like whatever was transpiring between her and the mysterious lady was none of his business.
“Can I know why you want me to follow you? You don't go about asking strangers to follow you,” Sheila was trying to sound as calm and unoffended as she could. The lady smiled, then bowed briefly like someone who forgot the most important part of her job.
“Forgive my terrible manners.” she said. “But this is a bathhouse and I'm the owner. I'm not always at work since I have my girls who can attend to customers, but I came today because of someone's special request, please let me attend to you.” the lady uttered, still maintaining a smile. At this point, Sheila didn't need a diviner or sorcerer to tell her the special someone the lady was talking about was the man beside her.
She didn't want to waste any time, so she nodded, opening the door before leaving with the lady. Arthur's eyes fluttered open and he pressed a button, then a click, the leather separating them from Ted automatically unlocked, revealing Ted who was seated at the driver's seat.
“Follow my wife and make sure she's fine,” his voice sliced through the air and Ted turned to him, then he bowed before opening the car door. He bolted out afterwards, leaving Arthur in the car. It's a female bath house actually so males aren't allowed in, Ted was to stand outside the door and await Sheila's return.
Arthur pulled out his phone then sent Fleur a message, he replied immediately and Arthur heaved, slipping back his phone inside his pocket before glancing at the time. It's 7:45pm already and the function was to start by 8. Though, it will take its full turn by 8:30, so there was still time.
He rested back and shut his eyes, lips pressed.

First, it was the scent of the familiar jasmine that dominated the air, then another rich fragrance mixed with it—the argan oil, intoxicating the air. Arthur's eyes fluttered open when the scent became intoxicating, circling his nostrils.
His eyes stretched and his throat bubbled when he saw Sheila sitting beside him already, looking drop-dead gorgeous. She was putting on the gown he bought a few minutes ago, her hair was neatly combed, glittering under the light in the car.
There's a light make-up on her face, her lips shaded red and the jewels sitting in perfect places on her body. Then there's matching stiletto heels trapping her feet.
Arthur's brain clouded and his mind turned messy as he stared, unable to take his eyes away from her. Sheila stared at him with mixed feelings, his intoxicating gaze boring holes into her delicate skin, she recoiled back on the seat, strapping her seatbelt as she ignored Arthur, whose gaze was still fixed on her.
As the car moved, Sheila felt the chills, like he was still staring at her. Her heart raced, fingers digging into her palms as she stared through the window, lips tightly pressed together.
Arthur smirked, finally taking his gaze away from her. He itched the nape of his neck, the smirk on his face getting ominously deeper. The drive to the function house didn't take much time as Ted stopped the car in front of a hotel. The function took place in the luxurious hotel hall.
As the car halted, Sheila unstrapped her seatbelt then made an attempt to open the door and that was when it happened —fast, unnoticed, Arthur's hand shot out, grabbing her by the arms.
Sheila winced with wide eyes as she crashed onto Arthur's thighs, her soft butts sitting prettily on his laps.
“Arthur....” She whispered, heart slamming against her ribcage as she felt his breath, hot against her neck.
Sheila shrunk as a cold dread crept up her spine, the hairs on the bank of her neck standing at tension.
Ted already left the car, standing tall beside the car, his back on them.
Arthur smirked, then leaned in, his finger grabbed her hair softly, sending them behind her back and Sheila gasped again, her eyes flashing with anger, hatred, all of it.
Arthur inhaled her scent like he was addicted, his nose sitting possessively on her hair. Sheila's fingers could have shredded her palms with the way it dug deeper into her flesh, teeth hardened and jaw clenched.
Arthur moaned, teasing, then whispered into Sheila's ears.
“You smell so nice today,” he growled. “Especially your hair, I can't seem to let you go.” he added and Sheila huffed, trying to stand but Arthur held her back, pinning her tightly on his laps.
“What are you doing? We're here for a function,” Sheila snarled, trying to turn to him, but his grip on her was so tight, she couldn't move.
“I don't care about the function, I can decide to turn around and leave.” he sneered, his voice dripping with venom.
Sheila bit her bottom lip, rolling her eyes at him as her heart clenched, shoulder's stiffened.
Arthur's hands moved on her body and Sheila's eyes snapped wide, fist balling tight as her eyes glittered with redness, her anger shimmering just beneath the surface.
“Stop violating my body,” She snarled, her voice dripping with irritation and disgust.
“Well, I haven't started pretty enough —” Arthur's voice dropped into a whisper, his finger's gliding softly on Sheila's exposed body, eyes flickering with something forbidden, something callous.
“You're my wife Sheila, you belong to me,” he added and Sheila's stomach churned, mouth twitching as she gagged, irritated.
Arthur continued, “And I do with your body whatever I want to, wherever I want to.” he said, his fingers pausing between her thighs.
Sheila's heart thumped, the beating and racing of her heart penetrating her ears.
Arthur's face deepened with a smirk as she slowly parted her legs, Sheila's eyes stung as she pressed her lips tightly together, heart still racing and emotions colliding.
“And right now, I want to do something crazy.” Arthur's voice blared out loud, but—soft, husky, and laced with what Sheila couldn't place hand on.
A pause.
Time seized moving and the air shifted, tension and anxiety crawled in, dominating the atmosphere. The silence stretched and Sheila's thumping heart raced rhythmically with Arthur's slamming chest, colliding in the air.
Her lips parted and heavy breaths left her nostrils, the thoughts of the forbidden act Arthur was about to commit in the car blinding her memory.
Arthur's lips stretched, then a teasing smirk appeared on his lips as he leaned in, whispering into Sheila's ears.
“There's something I'm itching to finger, little one.”
