Chapter 50 50
Chapter 50 50
“Don’t forget to send me the details I asked you to,” Sheila instructed Andrew as she packed the documents on her desk.
“I will do that, ma'am.” Andrew bowed and Sheila nodded slightly.
After she was done packing, she lifted her head, meeting Andrew's gaze. She snapped her finger like someone who suddenly remembered something.
“Davit and Levan,” She began, facing a switch to seriousness.
“Block them everywhere. I don't want them contacting my company, ever again.” She instructed, voice soft but firm and commanding.
“Yes, ma'am.” Andrew replied.
Sheila grabbed her purse, then picked things she knew was important to her from her desk, then turned to Andrew,
“Dismiss the workers, it's late already.” She said,
With a slight nod, Andrew left to carry out her instructions while Sheila walked out of the office, Arthur's message suddenly flashing through her eyes.
Jackass Arthur
~ “ I know you saw the note I left for you on the dressing table, and you intentionally decided to ghost? It's too early to breach the contract, fucking early, Sheila.”
Like I mentioned earlier, we have a function to attend tonight by 8pm and I'm coming with Ted to pick you up. Don't keep me waiting, little one.
As Sheila remembered his message, she scoffed. She had actually texted back, asking him what the function was about but she was ghosted.
The dude complained she ghosted him after seeing her notes, but he did that too.
Probably a pay back. But Sheila cared less anyways.
She rolled eyes, holding her bag tight as she walked outside the company.
She wasn't much surprised when she saw Arthur's car waiting already. Her teeth clenched as the grip on her bag tightened, fingers crushing.
Her heart was racing wildly as she got closer to the car, emotions colliding in a mad clash.
Ted came out of the car, opening the door for her. She hesitated before entering the car and another scoff escaped her throat when she saw Arthur sitting in the car, his suit hugged his body perfectly and his shoulders were stiffened against the fabric.
He smelled rich, his cologne dominated the air. His expression was thick, rigid and emotions buried.
He seemed busy with the tablet between his palms as his fingers danced across the keyboard, ignoring Sheila's presence.
Sheila's chest swelled up in anger and her neck stiffened, she glanced at him one last time then sat properly on the seat as Ted finally shut the door close.
“Stop staring and fasten your seat belt,” Arthur's cold voice cut through Sheila's chest and she blinked repeatedly, then huffed.
She grabbed the seat belt and within seconds, the belt was clutched tight against her body. Arthur finally lifted his gaze, placing the tablet beside himself before turning his attention towards her.
“You saw the notes? No?” he leaned in and whispered.
Silence.
Sheila pulled out her phone and began swiping through it, completely ignoring his presence and question.
Arthur's lips curled, his eyes flickering with something forbidden.
Within the spur of the moment, a click. Then everything was locked, Ted completely thrown away outside the wall.
“First off, this car is soundproof and I've already separated us from Ted,” his voice dropped into a whisper, “Will you have me rip off your panties and fúck you before you open your mouth and give me a reply?” His voice was calm, dangerously coated with obvious threat and for a fleeting moment, Sheila's heart stopped beating as she glanced over at Ted's side.
For real, they were separated from him and it's just the two of them in the passenger's seat, this man could do anything to her.
Panic set in and her lips shook, but she remained slightly composed, heart pulsating.
“Doesn’t change anything, bottom line is this,” her voice clipped.
“We’re going to the function, be grateful at least.” She hissed and the smirk on Arthur's lips deepened,
“Grateful?” he leaned in, eyes flashing with amusement and excitement.
Sheila snapped her head to the other side, avoiding his gaze. “I haven't gotten a proper thank you yet, remember? Little one.” he mused, turning her face to him with the tip of his finger.
Sheila gulped in nothing as Arthur forced her to lock eyes with him, his finger still on her chin.
“How many do you owe me?” he raised his brows, a teasing smile tainted his grim lips.
Sheila's fingers dug into her flesh, throat bubbling as she kept gulping emptiness.
“One? Two?” He continued, his gaze piercing into Sheila's.
“One, I helped your company —”
“That’s a win-win, Arthur.” Sheila cut him off with a snarl.
“Why don't you thank me properly first? Then I'll thank you too?” her lips curved and a deep smirk appeared, Arthur only smiled, the smile a mask of swirling emotions.
”And two, you owe me an heir,” he said completely nonchalantly, clearly avoiding Sheila's words.
Sheila's head banged and in the next minute, she already jerked Arthur's finger away from her cheek, averting her gaze away from him.
Arthur made to talk when the car halted, stopping in front of a big, luxurious clothing store.
Ted opened the door for them and they both came down from the car. Sheila's lips twitched as she turned to Arthur.
“Why are we here?” She snapped and Arthur's hands shot out, she grabbed her by the waist, sending her crashing against his chest.
Then he leaned in, tucking a strand of stubborn hair behind her ear, “I told you, real couples outside the house,” he whispered, knowingly biting her earlobe.
Sheila's face scrunched up in disgust as she coughed, feeling irritated with his gesture.
“Cool, I understand.” She smiled forcefully.
“Can you please let me go now, huh?” She whispered back to him, trying to break free from his hold, but he held tighter.
“Do you need an interpretation of what acting like a real couple mean?” he huffed, the sound inaudible.
He stepped back just a little, intertwining their fingers. Sheila only stared with a blazing gaze, eyes murderously furious as they began walking in.
Whispers floated in the air, eyes turning towards their direction as they walked in. Arthur's smile was enough to even buy the whole world as he held her tighter, and as for Sheila, the anger building in her was enough to burn down a city.
She glared hard, at nothing in particular.
“A smile will be enough, little one.” he pulled her closer and whispered.
Sheila sighed, nodding at him with a groan.
“Good evening sir,” the female atendent greeted with a smile then turned to Sheila.
“Welcome ma'am,” She said professionally and Sheila smiled, struggling to hide her anger and emotions.
“I need the best collection of dresses for my woman, limited edition.” Arthur smiled and Sheila returned the smile.
The attendant led them through a glass of stunning dresses, Arthur's eyes moved as he searched for the one perfect for Sheila.
“I think we found something,” Then suddenly Arthur said as he paused in front of a gorgeous dress.
Stunning and glistening inside the glass, the gown stood out.
A sapphire blue gown that glittered in the light. The heavy stones embroidered on it added a touch of richness.
There's a slit at the thigh and the dress is heavily adorned, sparkling.
As Sheila left to put on the dress, Arthur picked matching jewelries for her as he waited for her to return.
After a few minutes, Sheila came out of the dressing room, radiating beauty.
Arthur's lips parted and his jaw dropped in shock as he stared at the gorgeous, flawless lady before him.
She's always been gorgeous, perfectly imperfect.
His own little one.
The dress hugged her body perfectly, accentuating her curves. It was as if the dress was made with her measurement, just for her.
Sheila gaze landed on Arthur's confused face and she smirked, but what happened next was still a mystery.
As Arthur tried to take a step towards Sheila, he was more confused when a random dude slipped past him, walking courageously to Sheila.
He halted, his face twisting in anger as he watched the man, strategizing how to give him a brutal punishment or probably death.
The guy smiled as soon as he got closer to Sheila, “Hi, beauty.” he grinned, flashing Sheila his teeth.
Sheila forced a smile, staring at Arthur who's already behind the man.
“I was picking some dress when I saw you walk out of the dressing room. I couldn't get over your beauty, mind us chilling later over a glass of wine? I need to know why the heaven's let an angel roam the earth,” he said, beaming with all smiles as he brought out his business card to give to Sheila.
Arthur's hands shot forward and he grabbed the man's arm, roughly spinning him and making him turn to face him.
The man gasped out in shock but that wasn't the end.
A painful scream tore out of his throat when he felt his bones crushing.
There was a dangerous smirk on Arthur's face as the man screamed, his wails echoing off the walls.
“Tell me, would you love to be buried in a casket or thrown inside the grave alive?” He queried, crushing the man's bone more and Sheila gasped as the man screamed again, her eyes petrified and her gaze horror filled.
“Say a word, little pantie dropper,” Arthur scowled angrily,
“And who the heck are you?” the man snapped, gnashing his teeth.
Arthur's lips curled and as he made to reply, Sheila stepped up, gazing lovingly at Arthur.
Her hands moved and landed on Arthur's chest, caressing it softly.
“Don’t hurt him for my sake, he isn't worth your time, hubby.” She said with a pout.
