Chapter 14
"The alpha demands your presence Madame Aurora."
Lina said, she had stepped into the room without anyone knowing.
Aurora looked at Eliza with a look of confusion laced on her face.
She turned to look Lina who looked as if she had ran hundred miles just to get her.
As she was about to leave the library, Eliza held her hands, which made her shook with fear, his hands were cold and sent shivers through her body, and he said,
"Beware of dangerous men."
He said and quickly he let go of her, Aurora gasped at his actions and quickly she left the library.
Her mind kept jogging back to what he said, as she stared at the library once more she gave a light heave, 'the Spiritualist is surely weird' she thought.
As they arrived at the office of the alpha king, Lina bowed down to her and left her standing at the doorway of the alphabet office.
"I hate being in this position."
She whispered to herself.
"Step in!"
She heard his husk voice said, and it sent shudders down her spine, slowly she opened the door, the office was deem, dark and the only light in the room was the huge chandelier which hung on the high ceiling.
The office is a large, imposing space, decorated with fine materials and intricate details. The floor is covered in plush, dark carpet that feels luxurious underfoot. The walls are painted in deep, rich colors that seem to absorb light. Heavy curtains cover the windows, obscuring the outside world and giving the room a sense of isolation. A large, ornate desk sits in the center of the room, with a matching chair upholstered in fine leather. A massive chandelier hangs from the ceiling, casting a dim light over the space.
She saw a figure standing by the window, gazing out at the world beyond. As she approached, the figure turned, and she felt the weight of his gaze. His eyes were a piercing green, and they seemed to see right through her. He was tall and imposing, dressed in dark, expensive clothing. He studied her with a cool, calculating look, and she felt a shiver run down her spine.
"Sit."
He said, as he strode towards chair.
Aurora quickly sat down, his voice sounded cold without no single emotions on it.
"Stop staring at the ground, I hate when I speak to you and your face is towards the ground."
He said again, his steel voice was getting a grip of her.
Aurora looked up at him, she hated the way he spoke to her, without no single respect and she was not going to take it.
Alpha Adam gave a small smirk when he felt the emotions coming off from her, he could feel her anger, he had read and studied her and figured out that she hated being disrespected.
"She's your mate for crying out loud, and your future Luna, talk with her with respect."
Douglas said in his head, Adam hissed at his words, he wouldn't believe that she was his mate, why couldn't he feel that she was his mate,
"Because you both are in pains and are not yourself."
Douglas replied.
Alpha Adam looked up at Aurora, her ginger colored hair made the room looked quite different, she gave this Aurora of calmness which he have never noticed before, quickly he shook his head at this thought, there was no way she could be his mate.
"You will meet for the first time with the pack members, they need to know who their Luna is."
Alpha Adam said, he watched her nod her head without giving him any reply and he felt his chest tighten at her action but isn't this what he wanted, no relationship with her, just a cold relationship.
"Is that all alpha Adam?"
She asked for the first time in their discussion.
"Yes that's all."
He said, he watched her stood up from the chair about to leave the office and he felt anger boil within him, she was annoying the heck out of him, it was as if his presence disgusted her, it was as if she couldn't wait to leave the office and be far away from him.
"I never asked you to leave, do my presence disgust you so much?"
He said, his voice was filled with rage, it was so obvious that Aurora could feel the heat coming off from him, and she felt her legs shook with something, something that she haven't felt before.
Slowly she turned to look at him, he hated her for the no reason then she do take good use of it, there wss ome thing for sure, he won't kill her.
"Do I need to get permission from you before I leave your presence. I needed a fresh air away from you."
Well those last words shouldn't have been said because in the next second, she felt her body rammed lightly on the wall and his entire body cages hers against the wall, he was so tall and huge and no one will even notice her presence if they were to look for her because his body covered her entirely, she looked so tiny when he caged his body with her, she could hear the fast heart pace of his heart, his scent smelt so deliciously nice and she could hear herself gave out a little moan at the impact of their body together.
Slowly he whisperered into her ears.
"I own you, I am your alpha and when I tell you to leave my presence, then you leave my presence and when I tell you to stay, you stay right with me."
His words caused her feet to weaken, his voice so husk and made her mind flew off, she had never expert his thrill before.
His hand was still wrapped around her tiny waist and slowly he loosened his grip on her a little and he raised her chin up, he deep steel green eyes gassed deep into hers and he said.
"Prepare for your wedding in the next four days, your personal shopper will come pick you up."
He released his grip on her and he could feel the intense emotions bubbling through him, something he had never felt before.
"You can leave."
He finally said and quickly, she left, without uttering a single word, she had scampered out of his presence as if she was scared of him.
As Aurora stepped out from his office, quickly she ran to her room without minding the stares which she received from the everyone.
Aurora couldn't shake off the lingering effects of his touch and the commanding presence he exuded. As she rushed to her room, her mind raced with a whirlwind of emotions. The unexpected revelation about her impending wedding left her stunned, and the realization that she was now bound to someone she barely knew filled her with a mix of fear and curiosity.
In the privacy of her room, Aurora tried to steady her breathing, but her thoughts were in turmoil. The weight of his words echoed in her mind – "I own you," "Prepare for your wedding in the next four days." The gravity of the situation sank in, and she found herself caught between the mystery of her alpha and the uncertainty of the future.
