Chapter 53: Chapter 53
Elara's POV
He caught my wrist gently to prevent me from leaving.
“Are you jealous?” He asked, his voice heavy.
That seemed to provoke me the most because my face lifted and glistened angrily. “Like hell I am.”
Then I wrung my wrist away from his grasp and traipsed angrily into the library.
In two quick strides, he caught up and swung me around, his jaws tightening. “You know that isn't the case.”
“I clearly saw you both.” I gnawed aloud.
“She forced herself on me. And if you'd waited a second, you'd have seen how I dealt with the issue.”
Planning to turn away again, I said. “I don't actually care.”
“You don't?” He queried, his head titled to the side. “Then why did you bring it up?”
“Because, I'm starting to see the similarities between father and son.” I snarled.
For a moment, he said nothing and just looked at me. First I registered hurt in his eyes, then… betrayal.
“Is that what you think? About me?” He whispered in hushed tones.
Flustered, I tightened my fist to keep it from trembling. “You don't make it easy not to think that way.” I answered finally.
His eyes reddened, and his nose flayed while he bristled in anger. “Right. The boy must take after me.” He spat.
Blinking rapidly, I watched helplessly as he pulled me roughly such that I bumped into his brick like body.
“What are you up to?” I asked in alarm.
His hands snuck around my waist, holding me in place to himself.
Soon, I felt something hard against my belly, my face crumpled in fear. “What–”
“I bet there are more my son hasn't taught you. Since we're similar, I'd be glad to run you into some of them.”
“Davis, please. You know I didn't mean that.” I whispered anxiously.
“No?” He murmured.
Blanching at having been caught in my own trap, I snapped desperately. “Please. Let me go.”
“Not until you've had a dose of the torment you've dealt me this past few weeks.” He snarled as his teeth grazed my nape, I couldn't help but shiver.
“It was a mistake. I shouldn't have allowed him to film those videos to send to you.” I confessed, trembling terribly.
“Ah. Now you admit it was for me?” He asked, raising his eyes to meet mine.
Defeated. I muttered. “Yes.”
Davis suddenly barked a laugh. I felt his breath down my neck. From how tightly he held me to himself, my robe was starting to slip open, thereby exposing my silky breast.
I shouldn't have baited him.
“You aren't wearing any underwear.” He stated dryly.
Flushed, I murmured. “I didn't know I won't be alone.”
“Or were you expecting Matt–” He started, then stopped short.
His lips swiped against my instead lightly before he withdrew.
“I should leave before I do what either of us would later regret.” He murmured coldly.
At the mention of regret, my resolve faltered. I found myself holding onto him tightly.
“Maybe we should explore what regret feels like.” I murmured.
Intrigued, his brows rose in question. “Don't you already know?”
His meaning came to light as soon as I said it. “That's why I would follow my heart, because I don't want to ever regret not having to.” I murmured.
He opened his mouth to retort but was silenced as soon as I leaned on my toe and caught his lips.
He was unresponsive at first but soon took charge of it when my tongue dared swoop into his mouth.
My arms snuck around his neck tightly while he pressed me to himself.
He tasted like honey, mixed with alcohol.
The kiss deepened as he lifted his fingers to stroke and caress my cheeks.
Soon, my fingers were gripping the front of his chest as my hand slipped in to.meet the mat of hair on his chest.
Our breathing became uneven and hitched as we couldn't get enough of each other's mouth.
He bunched me up around his waist while I linked my legs in a loop around him, holding on tightly like all my life depended on it.
We tore and feasted on each other's mouth as though nothing else mattered.
His hand went to the small of my back, holding me in place to himself.
Finally, we slowed, our eyes steamy and blazing as we stared into the core of our souls.
“I want you.” He growled.
A little feisty, I brought my hands down to his manhood and felt him.
He winced, and shut his eyes in some sort of agony.
“I'm hard for you.” He whispered.
“As you can for the red-head.” I murmured.
He stilled, then smiled. “You are quite the obsessed one.”
“How big are you?” I asked.
He was taken off guard by my question. “You want to compare?” He asked, when he finally got over his shock.
“Maybe. But from experience, I could tell it's way better.” I answered.
Intrigued, he whispered. “Experience? What experience?”
“The night I pictured–”
Realizing my error, I blushed crimson red.
“Now you admit it was me you were fantasizing about that night?” He croaked darkly.
Snapping back to reality, I jumped out of his arm and landed in my ass, colliding with the shelf.
The bang rang loudly in the quiet night.
“Ssshh.” Davis whispered, putting a finger over my lips to silence my yelp of pain.
Soon, we heard a door opening, and we froze, my heart in my mouth.
Slowly, we heard footsteps go down the hallway, causing my heart to thump at what might likely happen if I and Davis were found in such a compromising situation in the dark.
Oh, stop it, Elara!
Why the hell were we even hiding, I wondered.
“Damn stupid rat.”
Lena's voice came up as she returned to her room– because soon we heard a door closing and a twist in the lock.
I slumped against Davis' body in relief.
