Chapter 110: Time to get worried

Elizabeth's point of view. When the lady answered the call all I could think of was who exactly was it that answered Sebastian's phone instead of him? I wasn't sure who it was, but the voice sounded very familiar. From the little noise from the background, I could feel that he was at the hospital or where he was exactly. Mrs. Shelby asked me if something was wrong because she could see how my face changed while on the phone, but I did not want her to worry again, so I just told her that it was nothing, and Sebastian was just explaining something to me, so she walked away, and she said I should first eat my breakfast before it gets cold. The most annoying thing about the lady who answered Sebastian's call was that she only said hello and then stopped talking like she was trying to scare me or something. I sat down in the dining room, but the food I was eating was not digesting into my system. All my head kept thinking about was who was the lady who had answered Sebastian’s call. I had to get ready for work too, because I had been having too many breaks, and it was time to go back to work, so Immediately I finished eating I went back upstairs to Mrs Shelby's room since that was where my clothes were. I had already showered, so I just put on some clothes, took my car keys, and went downstairs to my car I was hoping to drive myself to work, but of course, my mother-in-law would never accept that, and Felicia said she would follow me to work, and no matter how much I tried to change her mind, not to go with me, Felicia insisted, but Felicia, could not drive, she didn't learn how to drive, so even with Felicia coming with me, we still needed a driver or a bodyguard just someone who can drive, because Mrs Shelby would not allow me to drive myself to work in peace, she believes it might be too much work for me. I asked her to tell me everything about it, and she said that both of them had agreed to respect each other's space and boundaries, which was a really good thing. No matter how in love you are with your partner you should always try to create some space and respect between each other. We got to the hospital, and the first question I asked the first person I met was if Sebastian was upstairs, but the person said no, so I told the guard who drove me to the hospital that he should check the spot where Sebastian normally packs his car, he should check and find out if Sebastian’s car was there. He quickly ran there to check, while Felicia just waited for him by the entrance of the hospital, Felicia noticed something was up, so she asked me what exactly was the matter and what was I worried about, then I told her about the call earlier and how it was a lady that answered it and not Sebastian. Then she was as surprised as me, Felicia asked me if I had tried calling Sebastian again after that, and I said no because I would go completely insane if a lady answered his call again. Felicia said that maybe Sebastian had a female assistant that I didn't know of, and I thought about it, and it might be true, Sebastian might have a female assistant, who handles his calls when he is not available, Felicia asked me if I was sure that I didn't know whose voice it was, and I knew what she was driving at, she was asking if it wasn't Alex, but it wasn't, I've spoken to Alex on the phone multiple times before so I know how Alex's sound on phone. The guard came back and told us that Sebastian's car was not there, which meant he was not at his office, then where is he at? Felicia told me to calm down, she also said that I knew that Sebastian had lots of business, so he might be at another place that needed his attention, so I did not have any reason to worry, then she also said it's not good for the baby either, and I looked at her face because at that moment she sounded so much like Mrs Shelby. When I changed my clothes and went outside to join the other students, my phone rang, I quickly went to a quiet place, and it was Sebastian I was so glad. I answered the call, but it was not him, it was the same lady who answered the call earlier when I called. She said Mr. Sebastian was busy right now and couldn't come to the phone, but if there was any information that I wanted to tell him, then she would pass it on to him for me.
