Chapter 34: The Deal (1)
After Lunch her father went to his workplace while Bremo and Richard went to the command together.
She went back to her room after lunch to rest. She was feeling tasty and stood up from her bed, she walked out of her room as she was about to go downstairs.
'Crash'
She heard something fall and break in Dawn's room. She heard Runa talking to Dawn, so she decided to listen to what they were saying.
"Mom, Richard actually helped her. I was the one who broke the Jade Pendant" Runa complained inside Dawn's room.
Both of them stood together with twisted expressions.
"Today, we suddenly raised those difficult questions. Arci didn't have time to talk with Richard in advance at all, But what Richard said was exactly the same as what she said. In this case it is more suspicious. There must be some dirty secret between them" Dawn said.
"That bitch is really scheming. Fortunately you privately transferred her mother's dowries and kept it from her. Otherwise, if she used money to bribe Richard and ask him to deal with us we will be in big trouble" Runa said, "If we knew it earlier we wouldn't have given her the jewelry" She continued.
Dawn chuckled," I have long hidden the valuable jewelry in my parent's home"
" Now Bremo lives in our home that bitch must be trying even more means to seduce him now she has hooked up with Bremo. What should we do in the days to come?" Runa asked
"She has no more than two purposes one. To get money Two. To have a good future" Dawn said.
"Should we let her do whatever she wants like this?" Runa asked.
"She was lucky to have muddled through this time in order not to make your dad suspect let's just wait" Dawn said.
Runa moved closer to Dawn her eyes full of viciousness, "Mom let's get rid of her"
"We will find a better chance one day. Next time, she won't be so lucky" Dawn shrug
Arci clenched her fist tightly.
Her heart burning with anger she feels like kicking the door and sending them out of the Lincoln mansion but that would be impulsive.
She turned back and went back to her room.

Richard office.
Richard was sitting inside his office feeling restless. He held his phone and kept glancing at it.
He counted one to ten.
'Ringg'
Finally what he is waiting for.
He quickly picked the call.
"Hello?" He said calmly
"Thank you for helping me today, Come out to meet me" Arci told him on the phone.
He smiled.
"Where?" He asked like he doesn't care.
"I'll send an address," Arci said and hung up.
He smirked.
'Beep'
A message came into his phone.
He opened it immediately, he smiled when he saw the address.
He immediately stood up from his seat and walked out of his office.
He didn't bother to call Richmond to drive him there, he drove there himself when he got there Arci was already waiting for him.
He walked towards her slowly and sat down next to her.
"Miss Arci, it is late, the place you choose is so special. I didn't expect there to be such a quiet place, ``he commented.
The place she chose was a very quiet place. No one was around walking or anything like the bustling street.
"Commander Richard, you are used to lively scenes, sorry you have to be condensed to meet me here" Arci replied.
Richard smiled slightly, "Don't say that as long as you please I'm always available"
"Thank you for helping me out this noon you did it perfectly" Arci said coldly
"It is just a small favor," Richard replied.
"A small favor? I think you were prepared" Arci replied.
"According to what you said, you are not here to thank me?" Richard asked.
"It's just a bill, you even signed it and affixed a seal of the command to it, I'm overwhelmed by your favor. I think you did those to get ready for the play at noon, right?" She asked.
"Even if it is a play, I acted well," Richard said.
"You did act well you made Dawn and Runa hate me more and continue to find fault with me"
"Things don't occur as people wish if Dawn didn't constantly find fault with you. How could the bill appear in her hand? So do you think you can live a peaceful life in the Lincoln Mansion, if you don't fight for what you want? " Richard asked
"You're right I won't be passive anymore" Arci exhales a sigh.
Richard looked at her surprised, " Did you mean you agreed to cooperate with me?" Richard asked, surprised.
Arci faced him and make eye contact with him and uttered one word, "Yes"
Richard smiled and broke eye contact with her.
"Someone said she looked down upon my scheme and plots. A good horse will never turn round to graze on an old pasture. I'll consider it" Richard replied arrogantly.
"Commander Richard no need to play hard to get with me you've cracked your brain to cooperate with me, right? As a commander without much power you need the Lincoln family's support so at the ball when you knew I'm Lincoln's daughter you began to conceive this idea " Arci told him.
"Go on" Richard replied her
"You took my diary and deliberately left me the suitcase to let me go to you of my own accord, right?" Arci asked she continued without waiting for his reply, "You extorted 50 thousand dollars from me you knew i couldn't afford it you saw me pawn my mother's jewelry in the pawnshop and suddenly appeared to help me out of my predicament you even left the bill to let Dawn doubt the relationship between you and me and let my dad feel suspicious of me you did all this to let me have no place in the Lincoln family And force me to cooperate with you, commander Richard you are really scheming. congratulations on achieving your goal" Arci told him
