Chapter 166

.Adara POV:

I stood before the gathered soldiers, my eyes scanning their determined faces. "Today, we embark on a new era of training," I declared, my voice firm and resolute. "We will learn to harness the power of magic, and wield it against our enemies."

The soldiers nodded, their eyes gleaming with excitement and a hint of trepidation. I could sense their uncertainty, but I knew that with my guidance, they would become formidable warriors.

"Our training will be different from before," I continued. "We will push our limits, test our boundaries, and master the art of magic. It won't be easy, but I promise you, it will be worth it."

With a flick of my wrist, a burst of energy shot out, illuminating the training grounds. The soldiers gasped, their eyes wide with wonder. I smiled, knowing that this was just the beginning.

"Let us begin," I said, my voice dripping with anticipation. "The fate of our pack depends on it.”

I watched with a keen eye as the soldiers began to display their magic. The air was filled with a kaleidoscope of colors and energies, each one unique to the individual wielder.

To my left, a soldier named Eira summoned a vortex of swirling wind, her eyes gleaming with concentration. Next to her, a young man named Arin conjured a burst of flames, his hands weaving intricate patterns in the air.

On my right, a seasoned warrior named Kael summoned a shield of shimmering silver light, his face set in a determined expression. Behind him, a quiet and reserved soldier named Niamh brought forth a delicate bloom of vines and flowers, her magic whisper-soft and precise.

As I observed their abilities, I noted their strengths and weaknesses, my mind racing with strategies and techniques to enhance their skills. This was just the beginning, and I was eager to see them grow and develop their magical prowess.

"Well done, soldiers," I said, my voice loud and clear. "Now, let us take it to the next level. We will learn to control and harness our magic, to wield it with precision and power.”

I gazed out at the assembly of talented warriors before me, my heart swelling with pride. The Waterfall Pack was indeed a force to be reckoned with, and I now understood why the Moon Goddess had guided me here through the ancient waters.

"My friends, we have a great challenge ahead of us," I declared, my voice ringing out across the training grounds. "Malachi's army numbers in the millions, and they will stop at nothing to destroy our way of life. But I have faith in each and every one of you. I know that together, we can overcome any obstacle."

I paused, my eyes scanning the crowd. "We must train harder than ever before. We must push ourselves to our limits and beyond. For the fate of our kind rests in our hands. The future of the werewolf race depends on our strength and courage."

The soldiers nodded, their faces set with determination. I could see the fire burning in their eyes, and I knew that they were ready to face whatever lay ahead.

"Let us train with all our might," I urged them on. "Let us show Malachi and his army that we will not be defeated. We are the Waterfall Pack, and we will fight for our freedom and our way of life!"

The soldiers erupted into a fierce battle cry, their voices echoing off the surrounding mountains. I smiled, my heart filled with pride and determination. Together, we would face the coming battle, and we would emerge victorious.

I  was in the midst of an intense training session, my magic flowing through me like a river, when suddenly I felt a strange sensation coursing through my body. It started as a subtle tingling in my fingers, but quickly spread throughout my entire being.

I tried to shake it off, thinking it was just fatigue, but the sensation grew stronger. I heard a faint whisper in my ear, calling my name. "Adara... Adara..."

My vision began to blur, and my legs trembled beneath me. I stumbled, my magic faltering. The soldiers around me looked on in concern, but I couldn't explain what was happening.

Just as I felt myself collapsing, Jameson rushed to my side, his eyes locked onto mine. "Adara, what's wrong?" he asked, his voice low and urgent.

I couldn't speak, couldn't explain the strange sensations coursing through my body. But Jameson seemed to understand. He gently took my arm, leading me away from the training grounds.

"Come on, Adara," he whispered. "Let's get you out of here. You're not okay."

I nodded, my vision blurring. Jameson's support was all that kept me upright as he guided me away from the chaos of the training grounds, into a quiet corner of the pack's territory.

I  leaned against Jameson's support, my legs trembling beneath me. The strange voice continued to call my name, echoing in my mind. I felt like I was being pulled into a vortex, unable to resist its power.

As we reached the room, I pushed away from Jameson, my eyes fixed on the quiet space. "Leave me," I whispered, my voice barely audible. "I need to be alone."

Jameson's eyes filled with concern, but he nodded and stepped back, allowing me to enter the room alone. I closed the door behind me, my heart racing with anticipation.

I took a deep breath, centering myself in a meditative pose. I needed to connect with my spirit, to understand the message the strange voice was trying to convey. I closed my eyes, focusing on the whispers in my mind.

The voice grew louder, more insistent. I felt myself being pulled into a realm beyond the physical, a realm where spirits communicated. I was determined to listen, to understand the message that was being sent to me.

As I delved deeper into the meditation, the voice grew clearer, its words becoming more distinct. I listened, my heart pounding with excitement and fear. What was the message that the spirits wanted me to hear?...

I  breathed deeply, my meditation reaching a profound level. Suddenly, I felt a jolt, and my spirit was transported to a different realm. I saw a woman, Vill, lying in a pool of blood, her eyes pleading for help.

The scene shifted, and I saw Vill being tortured by Malachi and another witch. They were using dark magic to force her to confess about the Book of Revelation and the Sword of Truth. Vill's eyes locked onto mine, and she screamed my name.

"Adara!"

The vision vanished, and I felt myself being pulled back into my physical body. I gasped, my heart racing with shock and horror. I knew that Vill was trying to send me a message, a warning about Malachi's intentions.

I sprang to my feet, determination coursing through my veins. I had to act fast, to gather the pack and prepare for the battle ahead. Malachi would stop at nothing to get what he wanted, and I would not let him succeed.

With a fierce resolve, I left the room, ready to face whatever lay ahead. Jameson was waiting outside, concern etched on his face. "Adara, what happened?" he asked.

I took a deep breath, my voice steady. "Vill has been captured by Malachi. We need to gather the pack and prepare for battle. We will not let him win.”

I was about to gather the soldiers when a man approached us, his eyes scanning the area cautiously. "Excuse me, I'm looking for the leader of this pack," he said, his voice low and urgent.

Jameson and I exchanged a quick glance before stepping forward. "I am the leader," I declared, my voice firm and authoritative.

The man's eyes locked onto mine, and he nodded. "George sent me. He has a message for you, Adara."

My heart skipped a beat as I gestured for him to continue.

"He said to tell you to emerge to the Darkmoon pack through the tunnel. You won't be recognized that way. But be prepared for war. George also wants you to set an ambush with a team of soldiers."

My mind raced with the implications. War was coming, and we needed to be ready.

The man's expression turned grim. "Also, Vill has been captured. She's barely holding on. George vows to save her, but he needs three backups at the boundary, through the tunnel."

My heart sank at the news. Vill, captured and near death. We had to act fast. I nodded, my determination renewed. "We'll do it. We'll save Vill and prepare for war.”
